  1. Looks like based off Michigan county Sheriff's Department. Very cool!
  2. Got a template for this so I can reskin? I don't plan on uploading it or anything...
  3. Hey Lundy, thanks for the constructive comments! Yes, it is my first time at editing and creating skins for vehicles. I definitely understand and considered what you said about making the lines meet with the lamps, it's something that bothers me as well to be honest. But all of the reference photos I have show the lines pretty much exactly like I have on the model -- under the lamp. Haha, they may need a new graphic artist? But I'll definitely trim them up a bit! Thanks again, Ugly
  4. Gents, Decided to throw together some skins for my local law enforcement. I present Grand Traverse County Sheriff's Department. Three skin variations for a 2008 CVPI -- a traditional white skin, white skin with Garfield Township and Sergeant, and a black skin. Lastly, I made a skin for a 2011 Dodge Charger. Let me know what you think! These haven't been uploaded FYI. -Ugly
  5. How do I get the skins to be LSPD instead of the Sheriff's? What CVPI skins work for this? Any? Model is the BEST though! Absolutely love it!
  6. Just a suggestion... Would love to see a Crime Stoppers sticker across the rear windshield! Or on the side window like so...
  7. I'm a nothern Michigan man myself. Great work lads! Can't wait to see the updates!
  8. Hey Don! Way to go! I started working on my own MSP uniform earlier today to go with your amazing Charger. This is perfect! Only hope we can eventually add the cherry top and roof signage. May I give a couple suggestions for the uniform? I personally used the cop as the template because the MSP badge I made easily replaced the original. I tried the sheriff but the badge was all messed up. I also added the whistle lanyard on the right shoulder and also added the MSP and post number collar tabs. I had a hell of a time with the shoulder patches but it appears you nailed it sir! If you would like to work on using the cop template, I can send you over the .dds of the badge to incorporate in. Just ask for a mention in the credits! :P Also, to my knowledge, unless they're in dress uniform the side pant lines are solid black without the yellow line. Correct me if I'm wrong... PM me if you'd like to work on it further. I've added a screen of the one I did earlier today below for reference. Nice work! Ugly
  9. Thanks for the reply guys. The pedprops location and s_m_y_cop_01_p prop hat is where I edited the file in the first place. I know that the badge will likely be weird because of the way it's mapped or whatever in the game and I have no idea how to edit a file like that (or even if it's possible). Here's the texture that I attempted to replace, but it still shows up as the original cop hat in-game. I thought maybe the hat was in another folder that's overwriting this one possibly? Hmm... Scratching my head on this one...
  10. Hey guys, Since DetroitDon and NikoTheBellick released a couple awesome vehicle skins for the Michigan State Police, and I live in Michigan, I thought I'd try my hand at creating my first ped texture for an MSP trooper. I have a bit more tweaking to do with the colors of the tie (too bright) and the pants (a bit too dark). I also need to try to figure out how to edit the cap for the cop and also adjust the patches and try to do a better res one. Here's a couple photos of the trooper! Thanks to DetroitDon for the amazing MSP Dodge Charger pictured. Awesome stuff!
  11. Hey guys, Currently working on a ped texture for a Michigan State Police trooper. I have a bit more tweaking to do with the actual texture and was wondering what the location was for the cop_01 hat? I thought I found the right one, but it doesn't appear to change the texture or badge in-game. This is my first time attempting to do a skin! Thanks for your help! I've attached a couple pics of the MSP trooper I'm working on currently. A special thanks to DetroitDon for making the vehicle skin for the 2015 MSP Dodge Charger seen in the pictures! :D Ugly
  12. This is Janusz. My local K-9 for the Sheriff's Department. He's a German Shepherd and wants to be in your mod with a tactical dog police vest. I really think Janusz should be added! :D
  13. Awesome. This brings in another aspect of LSPD:FR, which is firefighting. Something I would absolutely love to see on a more official basis in the mod. What is California known for more than Arnold and Hollywood? Forest fires! I've been a firefighter for almost two years now, so I've had a few wild fires in my young career. There would be nothing cooler than hacking away at the ground making ditches or even charging a hose line from a tanker or engine in-game. Calling in an aerial tanker and watching it drop red retardant on the fiery hillside in the middle of the night. You could even give wildland firefighters Indian packs, or backpack water extinguishers to haul around. Fire spreads over grass quite easily in game. I'm sure there's a way to make the flames bigger and smoke thicker!
  14. Nice list. I was just thinking about posting a lot of similar ideas! Especially the domestic disturbance calls, shooting in progress, and standoffs. Really good ideas. Hope to see them implemented in the future!
  15. Have you guys simply tried rebinding the "E" key from the GTA escape menu? That would essentially assign the horn/sirens a new key and leave "E" for the computer.
