Original car model by Black Jesus
Inspired by the one and only Zach Houseknecht, and his known tendency to go off-road.
Big thanks to XENITH, DaggerJax and Sh0kGamingHD in Jeff Favignano's Discord server for ideas. ^-^
This has bin going on all day. The game loads and all, shows the loading screen I even see Nikko ingame. About a second later the game crashes. The only time it didn't crash is when I got the UI bug (Nikko missing and the HUD missing) The moment I switched resolutions to fix the bug the game crashes. No error log just GTA IV has stopped responding.
I have these mods installed:
LCPDFR 0.95
ELS7
Braveheart's Policing Script
Indicator Script
Police Helper
Modded Defaults ELS car pack.
It worked yasterday but today it isn't. Is it something with Social Club not able to log me in?
I'm sure R* wont include the police DLC, but if R* added modding support, a SDK for map making, creating skins, making car models, and a PC version that isn't as horribly optimized as GTA:IV, then I would love R* forever
I freashly installed EFLC and first thing I notice is the lag. Inside Luis's house I have around 40-50 FPS. But the moment I step outside it drops to like 10-20. My computer specs are:
GPU: XFX AMD Radeon HD7750 2GB DRR3
CPU: Intel 2 Quad Q9550 2.83Ghz
RAM: 4GB DDR3 1333 Mhz
PSU: ThermalTake 700 Watt PSU
OS: Windows 7 Home Pre 64bit
With low everything on low I get like 24 FPS. But rarely above 30. Anyone know how I can optimize EFLC to run smooth enough that I can also play it with custom cars, ELS,LCPDFR and Braveheart' Policing Script?
I reccomend you uninstall the car pack. Those models are mostly HD and the more HD models = more lag and load times. Even with powerful computers it seems that a HD car pack will make it shit bricks. If you are planning to do LCPDFR videos then just mod the police cars.
GTA IV isn't really optimized good. So even high end PCs have issues. Its either a hit or miss in my opinion.
I have two PCs. The first one is
OS: Windows 7 Home Pre 64bit
CPU: Intel 2 Quad Q9550 2.83GHz
GPU: XFX AMD Radeon HD7750
RAM: 4GB DDR3'
FPS: On average 20-25 on low
10-20 with a ENB and mods
Second PC is:
OS: Windows Vista Home Pre 64bit
CPU: Intel 2 Quad Q9300 2.50GHz
GPU: Nvidia GTX 9800
RAM: 8GB DDR2
FPS: 30-60 on medium/high
25-35 with a ENB and mods.
I found a Chevy Tahoe model and noticed it didn't have a texture, (Just had the template texture) So I extracted the texture via SparkIV and created a skin for it.
I then put the texture back into the polpatriot.wtd.
I clicked save and exit. But spawn the car in GTA IV, It appears like this:
Is this the correct way? I'm new to modding GTA IV.
