I just had a crash happen immediately as I called for backup. My first suspicion was Ultimate Backup, but I poked around the xml and honestly I can't find any error. However I also see that XScanner was going off around the same time, so I'm just wondering if anyone can pinpoint better than me, which mod caused this crash. I included specifically the point at which LSPDFR crashed.

So this is an odd issue I'm having. ELS, specifically on the Controller, is causing AI drivers (who are fleeing) to crash their vehicles. It does this by preventing the AI from steering whenever I change the siren tone. This doesn't happen if I do it on the keyboard, but if I get behind the driver and swap tones with the "B" button on controller, it momentarily causes the AI to not be able to steer, so they'll just ram into whatever's in front of them. This is so strange and I have no clue what's causing it. I've done multiple installs, so at this point I'm guessing it's a bug in ELS itself.
Can someone else try this? Get a chase going, and get close behind them. Now spam the B button (controller only) to change tones, and watch them slam into whatever's ahead. -

I don't think it's a LSPDFR issue, the arm barriers in valiana GTA V do not function properly, most of the time you have to tap it or ram it.
There is a script called "Barrier Fix," which fixes all of the toll gates (arm barriers) for players and NPCs. But it has a major FPS drop while using it with LSPDFR.
Unfortunately this is the closest gate fix script we have so far that actually works.
Roger that, I'll mark this as the solution and say "Damn it Rockstar!!!" lol. Best we can do is shout at the sky.

Thank you for trying, but yes mine is already set to false.

try getting Open All Interiors should help the issue
I've currently got Open All Interiors and Gatefix. But these are very specific. The rest of the gates all over the map don't open.
-
Why is it that whenever using LSPDFR, none of the Gates around the map work anymore? None of the wooden Gate Arms open, none of the automated Chain Gates open either. Is there any way to fix this? I have seen one file on this site that addresses 2 specific gates, and unfortunately that mod doesn't even work anymore, but what about the rest? How can we get these working again?

I'm surprised they got that patent I'll be honest. I did not fully read it but the fundamental method is not novel and has been used in multiple other multiplayer games for some time - which by the way, still get modded/hacked. I'm sure this will only be used for online functionality, but even if it is used in singleplayer, will be worked around.
It may have even been implemented already in GTA Online, although I am not familiar with recent GTA Online developments. Previously a good number of variables were boobytrapped already in GTA V.
This would be to protect in-memory information, for example, player health, vehicle health or vehicle velocity. The patent doesn't cover files / file modding.
Ah, then I stand corrected. Thank you Cyan for giving us hope

I'm not sure where else to post this, but I was wondering the community's thoughts on the possibility of modding for GTA VI. From the patents filed by Rockstar/Take Two, the encryption for GTA VI will be WAY worse than it was for GTA V and RDR 2. The files will now jump randomly around your computer, at unpredictable intervals. So we no longer have "Vehicles are saved to this folder." We now have "Vehicles are saved.... Somewhere. Until 5 minutes from now and then they're somewhere else. Oh, and it re-encrypts itself every time it moves so.... No mods for you I guess?"
SpoilerThe locations of important variables are moved around in the games memory at random intervals. This makes it harder for cheaters to find the position of the variables in the memory file, thus making it harder for cheaters to alter them.
These variables are also encrypted in a special way. When a variable needs to be changed by the game itself (e.g. adding money to a players bank account after a mission), the variable is decrypted for a moment, gets changed and then gets encrypted again. This all happens automatically.
Developers can easily make any variable in the game use this automatic encryption and decryption system by simply adding a single tag to the variable.
However, the increased workload (decrypting and encrypting the variable) is more performance intensive. Developers have to be mindful of which variables to use this decryption system for, to not unnecessarily slow down the game and its performance.

So I have the latest Gameconfig from F7YO.
I have a super-powerful PC (64 GB RAM, RTX 3090 etc.)
Yet if I have more than 2 modded vehicles, the game is losing textures. I thought Gameconfig was supposed to fix that. Any ideas or help? Thank you in any case. -

If I'm not mistaken Rampage Trainer has that feature.
Hey I just wanted to come back and report that in my trial-run of Rampage Trainer, I haven't seen any dirt building up when using "Vehicle God Mode". So it appears you're right, I think that trainer specifically disables Dirt Buildup when using God Mode for a vehicle.

Hmm... Looking through it, all I can find is it has a "God Mode" just like the SNT. But that's not going to clean the vehicle, only fixes it when you hit something.

As someone who experienced the same problem, I can completely agree! Though I am not aware of any scripts/plugins that achieve this.
I'm following the topic but if I have some free time & no alternatives are posted, perhaps I could make this for you.
Best.
Thanks Charlie! Sorry to hear you're experiencing the same issue. If you do take it upon yourself to help us with this problem, then KUDOS!!!! Keep me posted haha. Happy New Year!

Is there any way to make vehicles "Always Clean"? I don't personally like my car(s) being covered in mud, when all I've done is drive through the city streets. I also don't like how quickly vehicles become dirty. I timed myself, and found it was every 6 minutes the vehicle is at full-dirt levels. 6 minutes.....
So what I've tried to do is change the dirt levels in the meta file. However, this doesn't seem to do anything. Currently my only known option is to open the Trainer every 6 minutes and constantly clean the vehicle. Is there any better way to do this? Thank you for any advice, and happy New Year!!!! -

I am not too sure how to edit the default LSPDFR search items, however, STP is working with the latest version of GTAV and LSPDFR. I can try and help you resolve your issues with STP though! If you send an rph log and specify the crash type and the circumstances surrounding the crash I may be able to help you there!
Well although it "technically" works, it causes occasional crashes. I'm in Bejoljo's Discord and they've already stated that the latest update broke more than anticipated. Tow Trucks still don't work for example. But also, having an arrested Ped can cause a crash after "x" amount of time. So transporting Arrested Peds is risky.
Anywho, the long and the short of it is, I'm hoping to edit the default LSPDFR frisk results if possible. -
How can I customize the results when I "Frisk" a Ped without using a Plugin like STP? STP keeps crashing my game lately because it's not updated properly.
So I'm using the default LSPDFR, but I notice that even though I can search Peds and find items, I have no clue where to modify the results for this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and Happy Holidays! -
When attempting to launch through RPH, it now takes me to the Rockstar Launcher which makes me manually launch through Steam. At which point, the game starts normally, instead of through the RPH launcher.... So how are we supposed to launch with this new update?

"at PyroCommon.API.PyroFunctions.<>c__DisplayClass8_0.<SetAnimation>b__0()"
Download SuperCallouts again, and replace "PyroCommon.dll," it should be located in your GTA V main directory.
Uh oh, hmm. Perhaps there's a bug in his latest release? I only just downloaded that today. I'll double check that. Thank you!

I am experiencing random crashing during patrol. I know it's one of my plugins, but I can't figure out which one. I have

This post is nothing more than a wish tossed out there. I know the Modding Tools for Cyberpunk aren't the most open.... But damn I wish we could get NCPDFR. With the 2.0 update, there are new Police Vehicles including a Police Motorcycle and a Swat Vehicle. There are also a bunch of new Police Uniforms for several different types of jobs. Forensic Units, Swat Units, Patrol Units etc.
Again, just a wish tossed out into the universe haha.

Can I Delete Audio Files?
in LSPDFR 0.4 Support
Posted
I've installed a custom Dispatch Voice mod, but now realize that any and every Callout Pack just overrides it. So my question is, can I delete audio files for those callout packs or will that crash the game?
