So i accidentally deleted the sheriff pack in open IV and i tried reinstalling the file but every time i put it pack in theres no cars in the file i fixed it

Since you deleted the previous Sheriff pack from the openiv, remove the new one you re-install. Close the openiv all the way and once you have done that, open it back up and go directory to your dlcpacks. Do another drag and drop of the sheriff pack file, and it should show as if you just put a new file into the dlcpacks. From there, you should see the vehicles.

I can link them, the CCSO FPIU's are from Maryland Modifications public LCSO Slicktop Fleet pack, and I think the LCCSO Charger and Ram is from a paid pack but I don't remember.

    they look good

So based on the pictures all of the cars are supposed to be black? For some reason some of the DLC cars spawn in more of a grey and the Charger that replaces the Sheriff slot is white. The decals and everything are correct, just the colors are off. Is it supposed to be like this or is something wrong? Grey actually looks cool but I want my cars to match the colors of the patrolling LSSD units.Could contain: land vehicle, vehicle, wheel, text, screenshot, tire, outdoor, car, ground

go into your trainer ingame and change the color from there.

I've been making mods for over 4 years so that's not the problem, I mostly don't understand why I don't have problems with it

Okay on the 4 yrs of Zmodding. I don't have a problem either way for me, whatever the dev likes. That is cool with me.

The demo video is his car, so if he uploads the same files that he had installed at the time of the video then it should have the same style lighting as in the video.

and as far as what im talking about is exactly that, the lights on the vehicle I installed doesnt match what he has and I used files he provided in the download. When I activate my lights at stage2 I have half of the rear steady burn Blue and half the front steady burn white, at stage 3 i have blue and white on the front but the pattern is mixed part blue and white each side at the same time instead of alternating blue and white as in the video and the rear is blue steady burn left and right no alternating, that is with the XML settings he provided if i use the ELS control to change the pattern i.e: U, I and O keys then the pattern changes and if i set primary (U Key) to 13 or 16 I get the alternating blue in the back but I get blue/white on passenger side half of lightbar and only white on driverside half. I have tried everything including changing the carvariations file, installed in the police2 slot and also as a addon and changing name and nothing works to get the light pattern as he has in the demo video. So my problem is Am I doing something wrong or is the demo video made with a totally different set of veh, meta and XML files than what is available in the download?

    I get what you mean...

It isn't the XML. As I stated, I'm not sure if @Emergencymodder112 knows how to attach the light within Zmods to get it right. It is up to what he wants to do, either take it down and rework the light or leave it as it is... Hes the maker, so I can't say anything about it.

Downloaded and installed the latest version released 7hrs ago, installed into my Modding DLC, installed provided Carvariation, ELS XML and I'm still getting the funky light pattern that is nowhere near close to what's in the demo video you have uploaded, I then changed the carvariation and still no change, went thru all 140 patterns with ELS control and none matched the side to side pattern like you have, I'm no stranger to installing vehicles and mods I've installed hundreds over the years but I can't seem to figure out what is going wrong with this one. The only thing that may be an issue and ill check it now is I changed the name from police2 to SASP1 and installed as a add on which I have done time and time again with other vehicles and never had this issue.

So I read your post and I get the first part... that the lightbar isn't the same as the one shown on YouTube. I'm not sure if the dev is new to using Zmods, but I agree that it does not match It's his car and his style of how he wants his light to show. Don't get me wrong, I would love to have the demo, but if he wants it this way, I won't complain about it.

Secondly, I don't understand what are you talking about. Can you specify what is wrong?

@eazbox The Sheriff's Officer would be Fairfield County Ohio as the Police Department is based off Lancaster Ohio, which is located in Fairfield County

Could contain: vehicle, land vehicle, wheel, sky, tire, outdoor, text, auto part, bumper, automotive exterior, sport utility vehicle, motor vehicle, transport, road, automotive tire, fender, vehicle registration plate, automotive parking light, car, parked, street, ground, parking

Could contain: vehicle, land vehicle, wheel, text, outdoor, transport, tire, building, car, auto part, law enforcement, window, street, police, van

@Emergencymodder112 Hello once again, I noticed when you get out of the vehicle, all the lights steady burn to white. As someone who lives in the Lancaster area, when they are out their vehicles, their top lightbar lights flash back and forth from left to right in all blue slowly in a park mode type setting. That would be really cool to see as the all-white takedowns when you're out of the vehicle are unrealistic. Other than that, fantastic take on this vehicle.

He can change it to blue or you can change it to blue through XML file. As for the park mode, you can't do that with ELS, it has to be a hybrid or Non Els.

it's hard for me to reproduce as i'm not using any graphic mods at all. so if there are graphic mods used you could run into some issues for sure. i'm still wondering since an older version seems to work fine for you.

i'll have a look into this but it may take some time.

No rush dude.. take your time.
