So, I am looking on Open IV and I don't see anything in the YTD file saying charger sign or texture. Once I see these words I can replace the livery. Also, can you provide me with the properly livery that fits this vehicle. And lasty the vehicle is currently black once it's loaded in LSPDFR.

You open the YTD, find the current livery sign which is like 2023redeyechallenger or something and right click ---> replace --> find the challenger.dds

How do you make the challenger lights all blue as seen in the picture because when I put it in my game the lights are red and blue

Go to the YTD file, extract the files that have the light textures. use paint.net to change it to blue (I just take the blue and put it over the red)

when i put the gsp livery in i had to manually put in the template in the YTD then replace the template with the gsp because it wasnt in there when i searched it up

Oh, well, mines might have been modded before me and I forgot, so my bad.

how do u change the livery? i cant find the thing to change in the fbi.ytd? whats the name of it?

Should be a completely transparent image named ED_2023_2022_Redeye_Template

If anyone would like a lore accurate livery of this let me know.

thanks. The only inaccuracies I know of is the MCCD at the top, because a unit number goes there and it seems silly to put unit numbers up there when I didnt make custom plates for it.

Yeah, it's fine. Keep up the hard work!

I know what you mean about the letters getting larger as the grey area widens towards the back of the car.  It is an interesting design effect.......don't see it too often!

As for how to do it..........not sure what graphics program you use.  Thinking about how I would do it in GIMP - I would type out the text, then look for a function along the lines of "skew" or "perspective change" or "3D transform".  Something that allows you to increase/decrease the size of one end, without altering the other, and gives a smooth angle transition between them.

i use paint.net, i'll figure it out soon enough though.

Yeah, that is actually pretty common.  I would say that most devs don't mind someone making other liveries available for their models, but don't want their model directly shared with the livery.  Just the link back to their original pack, like you also posted, or suggestions of a couple examples of vehicles or packs that your liveries will fit, is usually the best way to go.

In the way of constructive feedback on these two........looking good overall.  I did notice a couple things, though.  Roof numbers - seem to be mostly underneath the lightbar.......you might want to pull them back a bit further.  And, on the Charger - the bumper and roof numbers don't match.....one is 829 and the other is 869.

I have this agency on my project list, actually - will have to keep an eye on the others you post, lol!

lol, I may have been a little rushed on the charger numbers. thanks for the feedback. For now, I'm going to do the other liveries while also looking to find a way on how to get the text on the charger like the real life one, where its text size coincides to the grey line getting thicker. (idk if I worded that right.) Thanks for the feedback and I'll fix the issues soon hopefully.
