  1. Depends. Many airports have their own airport police department that safeguard the property in addition to screeners, customs, ect. Public tansportation such as trains and buses can also have their own police force that has nothing to do with the federal government, such as the MBTA or NJ Transit system.
  2. Chicken parm, if you add in a glass of wine (or better cold beer) I'll be happy for the whole week.
  3. Would it be possible for someone to just reskin (i think that's the proper term anyway) to have the black and blue bike shirt and jacket like in the Jefferson Parish Peds for the improved enhanced cop? On the back I would like it to say police or transit police? I usually play as an LTA cop. I would do it myself but I have zero time to get doing it, as well as even less talent with GIMP/photoshop. Thank you in advance. Jefferson Sheriff Peds: http://www.lcpdfr.co...h-sheriff-peds/ Improved enhanced cop: http://www.lcpdfr.co...cop-with-ychop/
  4. Great now I have to find some trees or something to protect!
  5. False. For now anyway. The person below me is an Assassins Creed fan.
  6. NYPD sponsored by Turtle Wax!! (just kidding around)
  7. I'm using the area livery mod so I've got LCPD, Alderney City Police, Bohan Police, and PAPD that spawn into traffic then under NOOSE I've got LTA (Transit) Police, Park Police, Housing Authority Police (this one's new) and Liberty County Sheriff
  8. Conferences and academies are defiantly what I miss the most about exploring.
  9. So I put out a request for a uniform that nobody seems interested in. So I figure rather than bump a topic that isn't getting the attention on it's own I'll attempt to just do the uniform on my own! My question is when texturing a ped based off of an existing texture it is similar to vehicle texturing? I'm aware I'll have to use GIMP rather than paint, but want to make sure I'm not over looking anything. For example, how to I keep the appearance of the pockets on the uniform shirt when painting over them> Thanks!
  10. UPDATE According to Law Officer Magazine Ryan Cumberbatch of New York City is being charged with vehicular homicide due to there being no evidence he attempted to stop before the collision. He is currently being held on $25,000 bail. Source: http://www.lawofficer.com/article/news/new-jersey-tragedies-highlight

  12. This makes me think of the 1997 Hollywood shootout.
  13. It kind of worked, but a couple of things seemed out of place (i.e.: the front POLICE lettering appeared too low). Thank you anyway. This request is still out there for anyone looking for a ped texture to do.
  14. That's more or less what I'm looking for. I'll try it when I get home a little later. You wouldn't happen to know where I can find the shirt too would you?
  15. http://www.alliedbarton.com/companypolice/Home.aspx It's rare but it police contractors do happen. But they're required by law to have the same certifications and training and public sector police.

  17. AI cops arrest people. Usually you have to join in on an ambient event as backup to see it take place.
  18. 98,000 die ANNUALLY from recklessness of medical personnel. Where's your outrage about that? Now feel free to throw some made up Alex Jones factoid back at us.
  19. As far as people calling for nonsense, LEO's have a responsibility to investigate every call for service regardless of what it is. So basically what would happen in the case you gave is that the cop would tell everyone it's a civil matter and leave. And as long as it pertains to their investigation I don't see how a question a cop asks crosses the line. Even so you have the right to not answer them anyway.
  20. I think that has more to do with with how you have it set up in the configuration file rather than the pattern itself.
