  1. For about 3 years, just moved in together this past July. For the single guys on the forum you might find this helpful
  2. I'm not sure if I don't have something set correctly, but when I've got my siren on cars don't yield until I either use the air horn or cycle to the second siren. Not a huge issue, or one at all really, just something I've noticed.
  3. I'm agnostic leaning more toward atheist, but I don't have all the answers and think there's at least the possibility there could be a god out there. My reasoning is this, through various events in my life I have found it hard to believe that God, I was brought up Catholic, would allow these things to happen to good people. As I got older and continued to take a hard look at the world I live in I find it unlikely God exists. So I suppose I can sum it up with a good helping of cynicism from Saving Private Ryan when Tom Hanks says something to the effect of "I took a good hard look around and realized God left this place a long time ago." I also prefer the thinking behind scientific theories and the like as opposed to it was "God's will" or something to that effect. However, I have absolutely nothing against religious people and completely respect their decision to be religious. It's even better when the religious people can respect my point of view.
  4. What if the talking snowman is a symbol for a coke dealer? ...A very affectionate big nosed drug dealer...
  5. What about the giant monster snow man... OR THE ICE PALACE?! The problem with crazy is that crazy doesn't know it's crazy so we get things like this.
  6. And the paramedics come slamming into everything, killing everyone EXCEPT the suspect.
  7. Then you'll what's happening in my area. http://bostonherald.com/news_opinion/columnists/peter_gelzinis/2014/09/gelzinis_blackstone_community_never_imagined_horror
  8. You could probably change the date on your computer a day forward/back and hope for the best.
  9. Some places like Massachusetts use all blue lights for their police cars. Places like New York state (appear) to have all red. Where I live it's a free for all. Most towns use red/blue, some use all blue, state police use all red. Federal agencies (DHS FPS) trump state laws. So basically you could see a federal police car running code with red and blue in a state saying you can only use one color. Correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as livery goes there isn't really any law that dictates what happens with that.
  10. You're welcome to believe whatever you choose, you have the right to do that, regardless of how asinine.
  11. Present. My father got married last weekend, and of course there was plenty of alcoholic beverages to go around, and I defiantly fancy myself a beer drinker. But I have this crazy thing called self control, which seems to be something you don't believe exists, and had two over the course of the 6 hours I was at the reception.
  12. Maybe I'm too cynical for your point of view then. I'm all for providing programs to cons getting out and such, but I have no sympathy for someone who decides they need to go after others just because they screwed up. And to clarify, would you really sit there and offer some sh*thead a job while he's got a knife or a gun on you while he cleans our your cash register?
  13. Quite frankly I agree with Gunner. I like to think that I'm a good person that helps others when I can, but that stops the second you become a threat to me or my family. I think you'd be hard pressed to find anyone that is inclined to help someone robbing them.
  14. While we may not have any police mishaps, for some reason we've got a real taste for stabbing eachother and swords. For example this happened just this morning http://wpri.com/2014/08/28/man-with-sword-barricades-himself-inside-home/
  15. Well quite frankly I like dogs 10000000000000 times more than I like people, but that's just me.
  16. Where I live if a dog is searching inside your car, for example, and gets hurt then it's 10 years no questions asked, and then they'll discuss what the original issue is. Police work in general is dangerous no doubt. I say this as a 150% dog lover and owner, I would rather lose a police K9 in the line of duty as opposed to an officer, it's just the reality of the world we live in.
  17. Another good reason to stay off your damn smart phone and pay attention to what's going on!
  18. white chicks i now pronounce you chuck and larry anger management grown ups haunted house
  19. LTA Police Explorer based on the MTA Police '' target='_blank'>> Will probably be used on are BxBugs's template. Thank you
  20. Anything after the first autopsy will never be as accurate. Evidence from the original exam will be destroyed during the process, and without things such as clothing, crime scene information, witness statements, ect, it can be extremely difficult to reconstruct what happened. In fact one of the subsequent physicians performing an autopsy admitted that himself. At this point any autopsy is going to say "yep he was shot." You may find this opinion piece interesting. http://www.cnn.com/2014/08/20/opinion/melinek-michael-brown-autopsy/index.html?hpt=hp_t3
  21. Can't wait to try it. You're doing an awesome job by the way. (End brown nosing)
  22. Excited utterance is an exception to hearsay as dictated by Rule 803-2. Rule 803-1 (Sense of Impression) could probably be used too. (1) Present Sense Impression. A statement describing or explaining an event or condition, made while or immediately after the declarant perceived it. "(2) Excited Utterance. A statement relating to a startling event or condition, made while the declarant was under the stress of excitement that it caused." The guy off to the side saying something to the effect of he charged the cop (I'm paraphrasing sense I haven't seen the entire video) would be admissible in court. *Source http://www.law.cornell.edu/rules/fre/rule_803
  23. I assume you only listen to the word of that lunatic cult leader Alex Jones for news. I hate to break it to you but the rioters have instigated every action the police have taken. Throwing bottles, bricks, and Molotov Cocktails mixed with gunfire is considered a peaceful protest now? How would you like the police to react, handing out candy and hugs to everyone? Autopsy and witness statements back up the story of the Officer Darren Wilson. Even if it was a bad shoot, which I believe it was a good shoot, what would justify ransacking businesses that aren't even in the town you have a gripe with?
  24. I turned on the scanner link and the first thing that comes over the air is "he's not shooting or stabbing anybody is he?"
  25. http://www.lawofficer.com/article/news/molotov-cocktails-thrown-offic http://www.lehighvalleylive.com/breaking-news/index.ssf/2014/08/battle_of_ferguson_mo_continue.html Such a peaceful protest.
