  1. ProLaser 4 LIDAR - HUD icon and text

Hey folks!  I am fairly new to the LSPDFR game and community, and one of my favourite (and most frustrating, sometimes!) parts of the game is all the mods/scripts/plug-ins/etc that you can add, to build the game into what you want it to be.  I know I have benifited a lot from so many of the mods out there, figured it was about time for me to contribute back.......at least in some small way.

Over the past few weeks, I have been working with GIMP a bit - getting more comfortable with making my own changes to put into my game.  One change I made was coming up with an actual ProLaser 4 LIDAR icon to put into the vanilla GTAV weapon wheel HUD - replacing the "Vintage Pistol" icon.  This is meant to go along with Opus49's amazing Lidar gun script.

I created 3 variants to choose from - see the photos for what they look like on the in-game HUD.  The first is a "realistic" coloured icon - basically a stock photo of a ProLaser 4, that I scaled down and then pasted into the hud.ytd file.  Not completely happy with that one - looks great in GIMP and on the OpenIV file, but maybe the game itself can't render photo-quality well??  The second is "semi-realistic" - a side view of the PL4, made into grey-scale line drawing.  The final option is a GTAV "cartoon" style - matching the style of the other vanilla icons.  I am happy with how both of those turned out.  Pick whichever one works best for you!

If you have followed the suggested install for the Lidar gun script, and are using it in the "Vintage Pistol" slot, then you can just drop into OpenIV the "weapons_dlc_bb" I have included for each variant (install path below).  If you chose to replace a different weapon slot, I have also included the individual icon versions - but you are on your own for editing the file to where you need it to go!

My first upload, so go easy on me, lol.  Any problems, please let me know.  This is pretty basic stuff, I know......but it was a pain the arse to do!  Honestly not sure if anyone else is even interested, but I figured if I could save someone else the effort, why not?

By the way, if anyone knows how to edit the actual text that comes up with the Weapon Wheel, please let me know!  Would love to change "Vintage Pistol" to "LIDAR"......

    *** INSTALLATION  ***

Download this ZIP folder, and open with program of your choice - save where you can find it again easily.

    1.  Using OpenIV, and ensure "Edit Mode" is on - navigate to the following location -->   mods / update / update.rpf / x64 / data / cdimages
    2.  Open up "scaleform_generic.rpf"
    3.  Once inside that .rpf, scroll down to the texture dictionary section and find "hud.ytd"
    4.  Double click "hud.ytd" to open it; scroll down to find "weapons_dlc_bb"
    5.  Right click on that, choose "replace", then find the "weapons_dlc_bb.dds" file from this download that you want to use
    6.  Pick the file you want by left clicking, then "open" - that will put you back into OpenIV, then click on "save".
    7.  Exit/close out of OpenIV

If you haven't seen it already, here is a link to the Lidar Gun script by Opus49 and BenH6021......

  2. Appleton Police, Wisconsin - 2k/4k livery pack

Any Wisconsin fans out there, or running a Wisconsin based game?  Or, maybe you just want to change things up a bit.  Well......how about Appleton Police?

This livery pack project was part of a commission request from last year - one that didn't go through fully.  No hard feelings on my part, just one of those things.  I did up all the livery work as requested and agreed on (plus for the neighbouring Outagamie Sheriff.......which I will post soon as well).  I usually do 4k liveries only, but he was worried about his computer specs - so, did up 2k as well.  Then, there came discussion about getting all his files organized - regions, agency, backup, etc - so that one vehicle pack could run both agencies and spawn in the right areas.  Doable, but a lot of extra work and time needed.  We both kept putting it off, as other things in life kept coming up - never were able to coordinate a time to do the work together.  Finally, a couple months ago - after almost a year of the liveries being completed - he said he had moved on from LSPDFR.

Sad story, my loss.  Rather than rot on my hard drive, figured I would get finally around to sharing these with the community........your gain!

As a best all around match to what his local Police and Sheriff agencies use, we decided to go with Big G 069's "ELS State Police Pack" (linked below) for the majority of the models.  It is a great pack, with a nice mix of vehicles.  For the Prisoner Transport van option, we went with Emergency Distributors "Prisoner Transport Van Upgrade" (linked below).  Those are the vehicle models/templates used and seen in the screenshots.  While there definitely are other vehicle models or packs out there that the liveries will work on (using the same base template), these particular models are the only ones I can guarantee the fit/positioning/placement of the liveries.

If you scroll through the photo reel I've included above, you can see a number of real life photos of the Appleton Police livery - to demonstrate the attention to detail, and accuracy I was able to recreate.  Both the Appleton Police star/badge logo, and the "Center for Suicide Awareness" window decal on the FPIU were made completely from scratch.  I did take a few liberties when making the F150 K9 and the Prisoner Transport liveries - as Appleton does not use those vehicles that I am aware of.   From Big G's pack, we only used the 2014 Impala, 2016 FPIS, 2016 FPIU, and the 2021 F150 K9 models for Appleton Police.  There is only one F150 K9 livery, but the Imapala and FPIS have 2 liveries each.  The FPIU actually has 4 liveries available - 2 are regular Patrol, one is K9, and the other is Command.  You will see unique unit numbers for all vehicles (taken from and matching photos if possible), along with variations to the motto and other decals.  Seems that older Appleton Police liveries went with "Fighting Crime / Solving Problems" and a large 911 decal, while the newer liveries are "Compassion / Integrity / Courage" with a large US flag decal.

That should be it for the story.  Within the download zip folder, you should find two subfolders, for the 2k and 4k quality options.   In those, you willl find clearly marked folders for each of the vehicles from  Big Gs pack, and EDs Prisoner Transport Chevy Express van.  All livery textures are named as needed for the model - you can just drag/drop them in to the .ytd file in OpenIV.  For the FPIU, you will notice one additional file - the "window_template".........that is for the Suicide Awareness decal.  You can use it if you choose, or not.  In real life photos, it seems that only their Command FPIU had it.  However, if you do choose to install it, it will show up on all the FPIU model/livery choices - as you cannot have multiple of those textures, like you can with livery textures.

Also - props to those that appreciate the unit number/callsign that I went with on the Prisoner Transport van!  LOL.......see what I did there? 😉 😎

If there is interest and/or requests, I might rework this in to a lore-friendly livery.  Might look good as LSPD, or one of the other smaller agenices in game!

Stay tuned for the matching Outagamie Sheriff livery pack release!!

I hope you enjoy!  As always:
    - please let me know if you have any issues with the liveries
    - feel free to use these liveries on any other vehicles in your game that they happen to fit/work with, but I can only guarantee that they will work with the vehicle models I suggested
    - while I strive for accuracy on the livery itself, I may have had to take some artistic license to "fill in the blanks" where I could not find a photo reference
    - while I tried to match the vehicles in general terms to what the agency uses, I make no guarantee that these vehicles are exact matches in regards to model year, equipment, lighting, etc
    - if there is another vehicle/pack that you want the liveries to work with, please let me know in the comments or by a DM - I am sure we can work something out.  Or, if you are able, go ahead and rework the livery to another template yourself to use - but, for use in your game only.........please don't repost and claim the work as your own
    - feel free to share photos or use in videos (would love to see some of those!)........just give credit back to me
    - please do not repost/upload or claim the liveries and work as your own, on this or any other site
    - I would appreciate and look forward to any feedback, comments, or reviews
    - I am not responsible for "breaking" your game........none of these files will do that, if installed properly.  If you are not sure on how to do so, YouTube and Google are your friends!

Do you have a specific livery request?  Maybe your hometown or local area Police/Fire/Ambulance/Tow/whatever service?  Please contact me via DM here, or on Discord (Medicmojo#3955) to discuss further.........

  3. South Simcoe Police Service - Memorial livery

Any Canadian (specifically, Ontario) law enforcement fans out there?  If so......this might be a livery for you!

Last Tuesday evening, October 11th, two officers with the South Simcoe Police Service were shot and killed attending a "domestic situation" in the small, rural town of Innisfil - about 90 mins north of Toronto, and south of Barrie.  Limited information released due to the ongoing investigation - so far, reports are that they were shot by a 22 y/o male, shortly after arriving on scene.  Weapon used was an SKS semi-auto rifle.  A third officer arrived, and "exchanged gunfire" with the male - who was later found dead in the home (unknown if struck by the other officer's shots, or by his turning the gun on himself).  Both injured officers were transported to a larger center hospital in the area.  One was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.  The second officer was transported by helicopter air medevac to a trauma center in Toronto, but succumbed to his injuries overnight.

This was a personal project for me, and meant to be a tribute of sorts.   Hit close to home - close(-ish) to where I live, and I may well know some of the Paramedics that were involved at the scene.  Couldn't find any other liveries for SSPS online, and decided to make one as a "memorial".  The primary livery is as accurate as possible to the real livery currently used by SSPS.  I have included 4 photos above of their vehicles as a reference.  I went with a single vehicle model pack, a 2021 FPIU - as from the photos I found online, that is one of the primary vehicles that SSPS uses.  Even on the real vehicles, there seems to be some small variations in the livery - placement of unit number indentifiers, social media logos, Canadian flag, etc - so I went with what I felt was the best looking average.  For the "memorial" aspect, I added a few things.  The officer's badge numbers are used as the unit number identifiers.  I also created a small memorial decal (inspired by others I saw online) using the SSPS crest, a blue/black ribbon, and angel wings - along with both of their numbers.

The base template I used to make the livery was from this 2021 FPIU pack (link below), by @nm416.  It was released this summer, and has numerous great feedback comments and reviews.  Particularily about the lighting.  It is ELS, and is an "add-on" pack - so you can put it in your game without impacting your default vehicle fleet.  A couple of things to point out about the pack.  It does come with both red/blue, and blue/blue lighting options.  Please pay attention to the README provided in the pack dowload, as well as the options within the "ELS" folder provided.  I did notice that - as it comes setup in the download - the lightbar FPIU is red/blue, while the slicktop is blue/blue.  However, the all the changes to go one way or the other are provided in the vehicle pack download ELS folder - just have to drag/drop the light colours you want into the OpenIV .ytds, as well as drag/drop the .xml VCF into your OpenIV ELS folder to make the environmentals match.

    https://www.lcpdfr.com/downloads/gta5mods/vehiclemodels/39973-els-2021-fpiu-pack-lightbarslicktop/

In regards to my actual livery file - once you open the main download file, you will see two folders labelled as per nm416's model names.  One for the lightbar FPIU, one for the slicktop FPIU.  In those, you will find folders for either the 2k or 4k versions of the livery .png files.  Install those onto the vehicle models as per the usual process in OpenIV.  You can certainly swap the liveries between the two models if you prefer - I just set one up specifically for each unit number identifier.  Also - while I will gaurantee the livery fit to this model template, I know it will fit other vehicles out there that use the same template.  I believe nm416 credits Emergency Distributors with the 2021FPIU model base......so likely would work with other 2021FPIUs from Emergency Distributors.

Constable Morgan Russell (#133) and Constable Devon Northrup (#229).........May They Rest in Peace.

*** on a happier note, I actually really like the overall design of this livery.  I am thinking of doing up a "regular" release for it sometime soon.  Does anyone have any suggestions of a vehicle pack they would like to see it based on?  Maybe one of the smaller 3 or 4 car packs out there?  How about a lore-friendly version - maybe for LSPD?  I know South Simcoe PS uses FPIUs.....but I did see some pics of an FPIS and an F150.  Didn't see any Chargers.....but, could always make one.  If you have any ideas of a favourite pack to use, let me know in the comments below or send me a DM here.  Thanks!

I hope you enjoy!  As always:
    - please let me know if you have any issues with the liveries or all-blue lighting textures
    - feel free to use these liveries on any other vehicles in your game that they happen to fit/work with
    - if there is another vehicle/pack that you want the livery to work with, please let me know in the comments or by a DM - I am sure we can work something out.  Or, if you are able, go ahead and rework the livery to another template yourself.
    - feel free to share photos or use in videos (would love to see some of those!)........just give credit back to me
    - please do not repost/upload or claim the liveries and work as your own, on this or any other site
    - I would appreciate and look forward to any feedback, comments, or reviews.......still pretty new at this
    - I am not responsible for "breaking" your game........none of these files will do that, if installed properly.  If you are not sure on how to do so, YouTube and Google are your friends!

  4. Stephens County Sheriff - Georgia

Hey there - any Georgia Sheriff fans out there?  If so, you might be interested in this texture pack.......

I created this livery mega-pack from a personal request recently, and was then encouraged to release it.  We chose to use Emotional Shawtys 2001's "ELS BCSO pack" (link below) as the vehicle models to work the liveries on.  It is an excellent vehicle model pack, with outstanding lighting and great details!  Optional components include ALPRs, lower pushbar wraparound, and upper pushbar wraparounds.  The spotlights also move, apparently!  It is a combined replacement/add-on DLC pack - with 2 vehicles replacing the SHERIFF and SHERIFF2 slots, while the others function as addons.  The only hiccup I have noticed with this pack is that all 3 of the 2014 Tahoes have some odd "golden" highlights (from certain angles, on the running boards/bumpers/dash/etc).  I have asked Emotional Shawtys, and it is being looked into.  Certainly not a deal breaker for this awesome pack!

I am sure the liveries will fit other vehicle models out there - but, this pack is the one I worked with and will give perfect results!

Stephens County Sheriff's Office is in the area of Toccoa, Georgia.  To the best of my knowledge, the Office only runs with Chargers and Tahoes - to stay true to that, I only worked with those models from this pack.  That still gives a total of 10 vehicles to choose!  4 Chargers, and 6 Tahoes - lightbar, slicktops, and K9 Tahoes.  I strove for accuracy on the liveries, and included a few pictures above of their actual vehicles for comparison.  I had to take a few liberties with the Tahoe, as I couldn't find many pictures - assumed the back end would be the same as the Charger, and placed the Georgia Law Enforcement Commision decal where it made sense.  While the design of the livery may look fairly simple, I did put a lot of effort and details into it.  Pretty much made the Sheriff's star door decal from scratch, different K9 names on each variant, etc.  Also, on the zoomed in pictures, you can see a hexagon shape overlay pattern.........I like how it looks on liveries, as it gives the impression of what a real reflective decaling looks like up close.  However, this is for looks only......it does NOTHING in game, lol!

The vehicle pack from Emotional Shawtys comes with red/blue lighting.  Stephens County SO uses all blue lighting.  If you want that accuracy as well, I have included the files to change the lighting textures to be all blue, along with an all blue VCF file for each of the vehicles I made liveries for.

In the download file, you should find a total of 10 folders.  Each is clearly marked for which one of Emotional Shawtys's vehicle models it to be used with.  Within the vehicle folder, there are 2k and 4k versions of the livery, and then a subfolder for the "all blue lighting" option (textures and VCF).  All the png and xml files are named as they need to be, in order to be easily dragged/dropped in OpenIV - into the appropriate vehicle's .ytd file, as well the game's ELS pack_default folder if you are going with the all-blue option (if not, just use Emotional Shawtys' VCF file).

I do plan on making a "lore-friendly" version of this livery in the near future - thinking maybe..........Blaine County?  Would probably flush out the rest of the vehicles offered in the pack.  Keep an eye out for that, if you are interested!

    As always:
    - feel free to use these liveries on any other vehicles in your game that they happen to fit/work with

  5. Outagamie County Sheriff, Wisconsin - 2k / 4k livery pack

As I promised for all you Wisconsin fans earlier this week, here is the Outagamie County Sheriff livery pack that I designed and put together about a year ago.  Would go nicely with my Appleton Police pack!!  (linked below, if you haven't seen it)

** NOTE - some of the notes below will seem very familiar to my Appleton release, if you read through that. (lol......I admit, some copy/paste used in the big explanation section)  But, I did make some changes specific for the Outagamie release.

This livery pack project was part of a large commission request from last year - one that didn't go through fully.  No hard feelings on my part, just one of those things.  I did up all the livery work as requested and agreed on (along with the neighbouring Appleton Police).  I usually do 4k liveries only, but he was worried about his computer specs - so, I did up 2k as well.

As a best all around match to what his local Sheriff and Police agencies use, we decided to go with Big G 069's "ELS State Police Pack" (linked below) for the majority of the models.

If you scroll through the photo reel I've included above, you can see a number of real life photos of the Outagamie County Sheriff livery - to demonstrate the attention to detail and accuracy I was able to recreate.  Please note that a number of the screenshots are actually from the 2k quality, if you notice a slight difference between some photos.   Both the Outagamie Sheriff star/badge logo, and the "K9 Unit" decals were made completely from scratch.  I did take a few liberties when making the F150, F150 K9 and the Prisoner Transport liveries - as Outagamie does not use those vehicles that I am aware of.   From Big G's pack, we only used the 2014 Impala, 2016 FPIS, 2016 FPIU, and the 2021 F150/F150 K9 models.  Outagamie Sheriff doesn't seem to use any sort of unit numbers/callsigns or other identifiers on their vehicles.  But, for variety in what may spawn, I did make up the two varitions of the mottos on the rear sides of their units - some will have "Serving With Pride", others "Serving Since 1851".  Both of the F150 models have one livery each - one regular Patrol, one for the K9 Unit.  The Imapala, FPIS, and FPIU have 2 liveries each - some are the variation between the mottos, others will be Patrol or K9.

And, yes - the F150 liveries are named "sign_2", and that is correct for how Big G set up the .ytd files for both models.

If there is interest and/or requests, I might rework this in to a lore-friendly livery.  Would look great as "Blaine County"........or, maybe "Los Santos County" (as many liveries are released for Blaine!)

If you haven't seen it already, be sure to check my Appleton Police livery pack release as well, for a great matched game setup between your City and County agencies!

  6. City of Toccoa Police - Georgia

Hello again!!  Here is another Gerogia law enforcement agency livery pack that I made, on request by someone that wanted their hometown Police to use in game......

We chose to work with Ripple's (ELS) LSPD Legacy Pack (linked below), as it seemed to be a great option to give the most accurate match to the Toccoa Police fleet.  It is a large vehicle model mega-pack, with great lighting and interior details - we all know Ripple does awesome work!  To the best of my knowledge, Toccoa primarily uses CVPIs, Chargers, and FPISs - to be accurate to that, I only made liveries for those vehicles out of this pack.  I did stumble across a random photo of a Toccoa Police Durango online - although it had a different livery.  Thought that would make for a great SUV addition to your Toccoa Police fleet in game, and I used Rabbit's 2021 Dodge Durango PPV model for that livery (linked below).  Both Ripple and Rabbit offer these in both "replacement" and "add-on DLC" options.   All vehicles are offered with full lightbar, as well as slicktop options.

I have included a handful of the reference photos I used, to show the accuracy and details of the livery.  For consistency, I went with the standard livery on the Durango as well.  Please note, while I chose vehicle models that generally represented the Toccoa fleet well, and strove for accuracy with the livery itself,  I make no guarantees that the exact model years, lighting equipment used/placement, etc are entirely accurate.

Toccoa Police does use all-blue lighting - I have included the texture files to make those changes for these particular vehicle models, if that is something you are interested in.  I also used different unit numbers for all vehicle liveries - a few are even accurate to the real vehicles!

At the risk of making the download file look overly complicated, I organized everything into multiple sub-folders with all .png and .xml files named exactly as needed to allow for drag/drop install.  (*** PLEASE NOTE - the main download file was organized with the "add-on DLC" option in mind.  While the end-result livery/lighting texture files should still be named the same, you may have to do some extra sorting to figure out what the matching "replacement" model names are.)    Once past the Rabbit and Ripple stage - you will find each vehicle grouped into its lightbar/slicktop pair; inside that are the 2k, 4k, and all-blue lighting folders.  Work your way throught the folders.  Choose 2k or 4k - inside that are the unit number choices.  You certainly can put either unit number livery on the lightbar or slicktop version of that particular vehicle model, but please ensure you use the correct ELS lighting texture .png files and VCF .xml files for the specific vehicle as labeled (as there are some differences between the lightbars and the slicks).  Within the two Charger folders, there is an extra folder for the grey/black ghost livery, specifically for the Charger slicks. I intentionally named those as livery #3, so you won't lose the standard unmarked livery alternative that is offered with all the slicktops.

I do plan on making a "lore-friendly" City of Los Santos Police version of this livery pack in the near future - will likely expand that to include all the vehicles in Ripple's Legacy pack.  Keep an eye out for that!

  7. Harris County (Tx) Constable - Precinct 4 (subdued)

Hey there!  Well, after about a year of reaping the benefits of everyone else's work and creativity, I figure it was time to return the favour.  I started working with liveries earlier this year - mostly modifying those in my game only.  Once I got used to the graphics program, I began working on a few projects I picked up from requests posted on one of the Facebook groups.  Have definitely learned a lot along the way (still learning!), and found I enjoyed the process (most of the time, lol)! They were happy with what I produced, and encouraged me to upload my work.  So, this one is my first public livery release.  I know it is a relatively simple one, but I spent my time working on it.

This is a subdued-style livery, for Harris County Constable Precinct 4, outside of Houston, Texas.  I do not know the actual operational usage of this livery by Pct 4 - it may be speed or traffic enforcement, but could also be for gang/drug/special operations.  If anyone knows, please let me know in a comment or PM, and I can update the info here!

The original request was for the skin to be used on Emergency Distributors FPIU (****NEW LINK****  below, as of end Dec 22), which is an excellent vehicle in game.  But, I make no promises that the model is accurate to what Pct 4 uses for their FPIUs - as far as equipment, light bar, lighting pattern, etc.  Also, just for fun - I thought I would make the same livery for an unmarked Charger, and went with the recent release (link below) from Emergency Distributors for some consistency.  But, I have no idea if Pct 4 uses Chargers with this subdued livery - it looks good, though!   Thought I would do a lore-friendly Blaine County version as well - that might work well with the fully marked Blaine County Constable Precinct 4 texture pack from UltraSwift (link below), if you are interested.

I tried to be as accurate as possible, but I only had 2 photos (as seen above) and some written information from the requestor to work with.  Despite a lot of searching, I could not find any other photos of this subdued livery online.  With that in mind, the font/colouring/sizing/placement of the livery might be a bit off.  I also took some liberties with a couple of the smaller elements - the "911" on the rear quarter panels, and the "CONSTABLE PCT 4" across the rear.  Those are based on what is typical on the Pct 4 fully marked units, as well as the info I got.  Seem to fit in well, though.  If I am missing any other livery elements, please let me know........would be happy to modify these for accuracy.

For the FPIU livery specifically, I spent a lot of time going back and forth on the positioning of the main side logo.  The newer model FPIUs have a distinct forward slant to the body lines, and I was trying to decide whether to have the lettering follow that slant, or stay horizontal.  Slanted looked great on the template........but looked too severe in game.  My online searching showed that some agencies go with the slant, while others don't.  Not much help finding a standard, lol.  Eventually, I went with the "straight" or horizontal layout.  If anyone would prefer the slanted livery to match the body lines, please let me know - I still have it saved, and could send it to you directly.

In the download file itself, you will find a number of folders and options.  I believe I have labelled those well enough to easily figure out which one to use, and where it goes.  I have included 4k and 2k versions of each.  The individual png files are named as they need to be for a drag/drop in OpenIV into Emergency Distributors model's .ytd file.  As an FYI, these 2 models from Emergency Distributors are set up to be replacements, and will go into the fbi (Charger) and fbi2 (FPIU) slots.  If you have other specific vehicles or packs you would like this livery on, feel free to do so yourself.  My liveries will likely fit a number of other newer model FPIU or Charger models out there.  Or, leave a comment or send me a PM.........we can work something out to get these on a different model/template.

Please enjoy, and I appreciate any constructive feedback!

  8. Lapeer County Sheriff - Michigan (Patrol, K9, subdued) 2k / 4k

Hello there!!  Anyone out there with a Michigan-based game?  Are you a fan of, or looking for, the Lapeer County Sheriff?  Then, this might just be the livery pack for you!  It has been awhile since I posted any liveries on here - have been busy with private requests or commissions, and learning lots as I continue to improve.......

These liveries actually came out of a commission request.  However, due to a teeny bit of miscommunication...........I initially made them with the real agency name, instead of the lore-friendly version that was asked for.  As well, I went a bit overboard.......making a number of the other livery variations I found online for the Lapeer County Sheriff.  We figured out the Blaine County part, and ultimately all that was wanted were the basic Patrol versions for the Charger and Durango.  Rather than leaving my efforts and liveries to sit on my hard drive, I was graciously given permission to share the original liveries and variations I had done with the LSPDFR community!

When I make liveries, I always strive for accuracy and attention to detail.  I hope the real reference photos I included along with the in-game screen shots above can attest to my efforts.  On these particular designs, I significantly reworked an online image of the Michigan Sheriff logo to improve the in-game quality; and, the K9 Team Sheriff star was made almost completely from scratch.  The lightning bolts (Lapeer High School Lightning) on the School Resource Officer livery weren't easy either!  I also added a "hexagonal texture" overlay (see Credits for details) on top of the markings - to create the impression and look of reflective decals (*** this does nothing in game, unfortunately ***).

As opposed to my other livery releases, these ones were not made with a specific vehicle or pack in mind.  They were done with a more generalized "Charger" and "Durango" request - essentially based on templates only.  Those templates are fairly common, and will likely work with a number of vehicle models from different devs.  The Charger template is for the very common 2016/18 base model from Matt.  The Durango is for the 2021 base model that is out there.  I won't recommend exact vehicle models - but, for my OpenIV and in-game testing/screenshots, I did use models from Emergency Distrubutors for both vehicles.

In the download folder I have provided, you will find folders for your choice of either 2k or 4k quality.  Within those, are sub-folders for the Charger and Durango - which then contain 4 liveries for the Charger, and 3 for the Durango.  ** PLEASE NOTE - the actual livery texture files ARE NOT named for drag/drop install, as I did not specify a vehicle/pack to use.  You will have to rename them to replace the livery texture slots (the "_sign_1") available in the model(s) you choose to go with.   Remember - you can install all 3 or 4 liveries onto one model (for the vast majority of models - some are restricted to only one livery) if you want............simply name them in numerical sequence as "_sign_1", "_sign_2", etc.  Or, perhaps you will have different Charger and Durango models to use between the Patrol and subdued or K9 versions...........I will leave that up to you!

    - I would appreciate and look forward to any feedback, comments, or reviews.......still pretty new at this
    - I am not responsible for "breaking" your game........none of these files will do that, if installed properly.  If you are not sure on how to do so, YouTube and Google are your friends!

Do you have a specific livery request?  Maybe your hometown or local area Police/Fire/Ambulance/Tow/whatever service?  Please contact me via DM here to discuss further.........

  9. Pittsburgh EMS Paramedic Rescue Ambulance

Anyone running a Pittsburgh-based game?  Have I got a deal for you.........how about a Pittsburgh EMS Paramedic Rescue Ambulance livery to with it?

Long, sad story to this one.  Took on this livery as a private commission request, back in January.  He had specified the model to use - Candice's 2015/16 F350 SuperDuty (the non-ELS version is linked belowl, the ELS version is on gta5-mods).  Took me a month or so to do.  I spent a crap ton of time on this to get things accurate.  I am pretty fussy with getting high quality details to show in game.  Ended up reworking the main crest/logos quite a lot - because the available online images just didn't look good enough once I shrunk them down to fit the model.  That "Freedom House Ambulance" crest?  (look that up - some great history there with that organization)  Made that up completely from scratch.  Same with the PA State licensure crest.  Overall was really pleased and proud with how it turned out.  Was in touch with the guy frequently - updates, questions, screenshots for approvals, etc.  Got the final approval from him for the livery.  The guy actually wanted 13 liveries done - one for each of the "Medic" units that Pittsburgh runs with, along with distinct license plates.  A week later, had all of those ready - individual unit numbers, and matching unit specific license plates.  Sent him a screenshot of a folder with all 13 livery png files in it as proof...........next day, get a message back that he "is no longer interested in the mod.  Thank you".  WTF?  In a week, you lost interest in LSPDFR?  And, no offer to compensate me in some fashion for my work and time.  Great.  Thanks.  🤬😠😒

Anyhow - been sitting on these since the end of January.  Figured I might as well offer it out to the community, rather than wasting away on my hard drive.  Hoping that maybe someone out there will get some use and enjoyment out of it!

I've only posted the livery for Medic 12.  As I said, there are another 12 liveries ready to go.  If you are running a Pittsburgh-based game, and want a couple other unit numbers for some variety in the ambulances you see, please let me know - either comment here, or a DM - would be happy to send you a couple of the other unit livery files.

Also, if there is interest - I could rework this into a lore-friendly version, or for another one of the common ambulance models available.  Let me know!

Here is the link to Candice's model on LSPDFR........(lol - not sure I should post a link to the other website for the ELS version!)

  10. South Simcoe Police Service (Ontario, Canada) - livery mega pack

Hello again!  Back in October, I released a single vehicle (lightbar and slicktop versions) livery for the South Simcoe Police Service, as "memorial" for the two officers that were killed that month.  For that livery, I had used their badge numbers as the unit callsigns, and created my own angel wing "in memory of" decal.  As part of that release, I mentioned really liking the overall design of the livery, and being interested in making a full pack.  I had asked for someone to suggest a pack to use.  Someone took me up on that offer, and I am pleased to release the final result.  All vehicle models or packs are linked further below.  The photos above show a number of their actual vehicle photos for comparison, as well as in game pictues of my liveries on the vehicle models - I strive for accuracy, and am very pleased with the results!  All liveries have a unique callsign, and I made a number of specialty unit liveries as well.   I have also included as part of each livery,  the "official" Heroes in Life Memorial decal that South Simcoe Police designed and (I believe) started placing on all their units.

The suggestion/request I received was to go with Ripples LSPD Legacy pack, as it was one DLC add-on that included the 3 types of vehicles that SSPS currently uses - FPISs, FPIUs, and a pickup truck.  Plus, we all know that Ripple does great work!  The pack gives a good sized selection of vehicles, with lightbar and slicktop versions of each model.  I only worked on those particular SSPS vehicles in this pack - so, sorry......no Crown Vics or Chargers.  And, the pick-up is a Silverado, instead of the F150 that SSPS uses.

As a side note, there is a known problem with the slicktop Silverado model (lspd18) - it spawns with weird textures and colours.  You can either chose to not use that model........or, I found that the problem could be resolved by replacing the lspd18.ytd file.  Looked like that ytd mistakenly had a number of textures meant for one of the Charger models.  I copied/pasted the matching lightbar Silverado model's (lspd8) .ytd file somewhere outside of OpenIV - renamed it to lspd18 - then copied/pasted it back into OpenIV, which overwrites the file with the errors.  Have had no issues with the slicktop model since.

Once again, I have tried to make my download file very organized and (hopefully) self-explanatory.  Dig your way through the folders, choose the 4k or 2k quality, and instalI via the usual process in OpenIV, into the matching vehicle .ytd file.  All the individual textures should be named properly, to allow for a drag/drop install.

If you want to keep it simple, just use Ripple's Legacy pack addon and my associated liveries.  Good variety of vehicles in that pack, and I have included some of the "specialty" unit liveries - Supervisor, Canine, ERU, and Community Services.  Remember that the slicktop verisions will also come with an "unmarked" livery texture, courtesy of Ripple.  Some of the models came with window texture templates as well - I put those to use for some of the unit callsigns (as they are on the real units).........don't forget to install those as well.

But, if you are willing to go with a few more addon packs for some more variety........please consider and help yourself to the other livery options I have included.

If you are a die-hard Ford fan and want an F150/250 model to use, like South Simcoe does, I got you covered!  Chose Big G 069"s F250 model.  I haven't personally used it much in game yet, but it has some great comments and reviews

If you want to have an actual K9 model to use in game, I went with Rabbit's 2016 FPIU K9 model.  I do use this vehicle in my game, and it is fantastic!

Finally, if you want to have a couple more FPIUs to use in game, I tweaked my first Memorial livery a bit - taking off my original "angel wing" Memorial decal, and replacing it with the official decal.
