  1. Sounds like you're going to have to redo the mods folder, only do a couple modifications at a time otherwise it's a lot harder to pin-point what is causing the issue. Also make sure you read the README 100%, don't skip over things, the developer will know how to install their own mod/plugin/script better than you or I.

  2. Let's start with posting your RagePluginHook.log located in your main Grand Theft Auto V directory. Let me know which car pack you're trying to install. Most likely you've done it wrong, to be 100% sure it's a mods folder error, you can rename your mods folder to "_mods" excluding it from loading into the game, so you can test if it runs without mods. (This is not a fix, just a diagnosis for your mods folder)

Yeah you need to select the chat option to make it happen, as for holding shift it may have just been an additional option in one of the outdated plugins like Traffic Policer or Arrest Manager, I do remember using it, but I don't remember what from then, sorry. This was the only other alternative I found.

    I'm pretty sure this is the one you're talking about, you can demand them to pull over and it has a chance to work. Like if it helped 😄

  5. RagePluginHook "hooks" onto Grand Theft Auto V. It can be done at any stage of the application, people with Natural Visions Evolved know that you can't launch RPH to start your game, you have to load Grand Theft Auto V first, wait for the legal crap to pass, then launch RagePluginHook, in some cases you can wait until you're logged into the story mode, and then once in launch RagePluginHook, use F4 for console and type "reloadallplugins" (if you have multiple plugins) or just type "loadplugin LSPD First Response.dll"

     

    Let me know if that works for you. Though if your problems persists and you haven't added very many things, I'd suggest reinstalling LSPDFR and make sure it's done correctly.

    As you've figured out renaming your mods folder only omits it, so it won't be loaded into the game. The reason it wasn't working was because something was input incorrectly into that folder.

     

    You need to go back and make sure every modification you added was done correctly, I would suggest deleting the mod folder, then copying Update and x64 folders into the mods folder and add the file modifications one by one and try to see if it runs. Rinse and repeat until you're content with the amount of modifications you have.

  7. Sometimes I have this issue with continuous loading screen, I work around it by launching GTA V first, then launching RagePluginHook after I'm in-game. It seems to do the trick, as for why it's happening. I don't have a solid answer for you. Maybe once you load into it for the first time it'll fix the issue.

    This error usually falls on the callout plugin that you are trying to use. The Callout Manager will access callouts from the .dll files. Some of these files may not be ready to be activated randomly in the game; because they're incomplete. But callout manager detects the beginning of the callout and thinks that it's usable. Therefore, allowing you to select the callout but not have it work. 

     

    Might I ask which callouts you're trying to use Callout Manager on, please?

  9. Hello there, I am looking to gain some insight on a few lines in the file content.xml. Currently, I am stuck on defining these lines:

     

    •       <overlay value="false" />
    •       <disabled value="false" />
    •       <persistent value="false" />


    I have a "general" idea of what each of these values means, but I would like to be 100% sure by having somebody explain each one to me; or point me in the direction of a definition.

     

    • <overlay value="false" /> This would be a file that overlaps another file of the same name or co-exists with a file of similar nature like a vehicle.meta file. 
    • <disabled value="false" /> Removed, disabled not sure about this one besides the word "disabled".
    • <persistent value="false" /> An object that is not deleted until a need emerges to remove it from the game's memory. 

     

    If somebody with the appropriate knowledge could comment on this and direct me accordingly, that would be helpful. Thank you for taking the time to read my inquiry.

Okay, I would first modify a few settings with RagePluginHook, like forcing DX11 forcing Windowed mode, turning plugin threshold up to 60000 instead of 10000.  But I think the real issue is one of your modded police cars. Further down shows a livery unable to be accessed, I've never had a skin of a vehicle crash my game. But that's the only issue I'm seeing in your logs. LSPDFR 0.4.8 has a lot of customizable features in the folder "Grand Theft Auto V > LSPDFR > lspdfr.config you can disable ambient spawning cops like these lines you can change.

     

    Here is a link to a post by LMS that will help you identify what each line does and which ones are there to prevent crashes.

  11. Near the apartment on 0605 Spanish Avenue in the parking lot just east of the building there are several people standing in  the parking lot. They don't move, they just stand there. Rain or shine, I'm not entirely sure why. But I've removed every plugin and just ran LSPDFR and they're still there, was this suppose to be a thing?20200919121657_1.thumb.jpg.99274f1d49dcd196a6089e075161072c.jpg

  13. Well you do have a few plugins. I'd start by making sure they're all up to date, Bejoljo just updated a couple of his plugins. When LSPDFR crashes when you go on duty that usually means a dependent plugin is causing issues. Or some modded file that's only accessed while on duty. (files inside your LSPDFR folder in the main directory) I would start removing plugins one at a time to find out if any of those are a problem. If none of that works. Redo your LSPDFR folder in the main game directory. Grand Theft Auto/lspdfr/ there could be an edit preventing it from working properly.

    You're going to have to give more information than that. Like posting your RagePluginHook.txt file would be a start.

  15. Well you've got no plugins at the time of the crash, and if you said you tried renaming the mods folder and it still crashes it really can only be RagePluginHook having issues, are you using any visual/ENB mods? I know using NVE with RagePluginHook crashes on startup. Also try validating your Grand Theft Auto V files, maybe something in the non-mod folders was edited through a OIV.installer. 

     

    Try reinstalling RPH and see how that fairs.
