File Reviews posted by Palfy205

  1. I'll break up this review into numbered points to create ease for members to understand why I reviewed it this way.

1.) Easy installation instructions (Several videos provided on all his products)
2.) Thorough knowledge when describing the modifications, in the ways they work and what their purpose is.

3.) FiveM Compatability and Singleplayer for both worlds, all said and done ready to be installed.

4.) Active Discord to ask for advice and help if need be, quick and speedy response.

5.) Adds a nice touch to the County, this stops AI from driving like asshats in a 50mph zone.

  2. To sum it up, this callout pack is not complete as @maxplayle04 has made clear to me, so it's current status is what I'll be reviewing.

The main thing that impressed me was that I played with this callout pack for nearly an hour and, even though it's still under development, I never ran into any crashes. It goes to show that the effort put into each callout was higher than the average person; and tested previously to ensure stability.

I did find in the long run that most of the scenarios in the video ended in pursuits. Max told me that three possible scenarios occur, the first being the suspect flees, the second being the suspect resists with violence, and thirdly being the suspect gives up. So, with each scenario, I rolled the same outcomes each time.

At the end of the video, you'll see that the suspect of the "Unarmed Robbery" stays in the store and becomes glitched. Immediately after I concluded the video, I tried this encounter three more times every time, and it worked without issue. Just like any plugin, there will always be problems; I am just glad for this callout pack problem was not a crash.

Long story long, it's an enjoyable callout to use; I highly recommend it. Thank you for taking the time to read this review, and I hope it helped decide if this callout was for you.

I test multiple callouts before making a video on them over on Twitch.tv/palfy205 if you want to come to check it out sometime, please feel free.

I've recently come to edit my review, I've seen this product from it's early beginnings and I want to say my opinion has changed from a 4 star to a 5 star. The dedication that Max has shown proves to me that he is eager to make this callout perfect. There has been loads of patches, quick fixes and discussions. I'm happy with the result that's come out the other side.

  3. Oh, my folks! We finally have a mod developer who is interested in what we have to say!

As mentioned in the "Removing 4K Textures.txt 'As of 2020, I've decided to add a feature using GTA's original system. I know some people have trouble with using 4k textures in their modded games, and I understand that. So this document is to show you how all the packs post 2020 (vehicle packs only) you can choose between 2k and 4k textures.'" This is amazing, I've been waiting for people to stop putting their stupid 4k gun textures inside the vehicle, which take up nearly 5mbs of space, and their total file size is over 30mb for a ytd.

Didn't realize that the ram bars didn't have contact, the liveries are not transparent for vehicle color to change shade/reflectiveness and some of the vehicles ytd are too big. Good try though.

  4. This file modification is a must! If you're using Grand Theft Auto V vanilla driving (No Realistic Driving V) it's a necessity. I use Realistic Driving V, which modifies the games base vehicle handling, speed, braking, and tire friction, so it's not as helpful to me, but I have tried it without Realistic Driving V, and it works wonders. There are a lot fewer idiots on the road face it, it's San Andreas, you will always have idiots, but this mod will make less of them. Download it if you haven't already, it is a game-changer.

  5. This plugin is a real work of art. If you're looking for a more realistic feel or better roleplay experience, I would highly suggest getting this plugin to use.

It works very well, though I do disable it on AI since they don't have assault rifle slings in their body armor. The entirety of the plugin is just sublime; I won't stop using it now that I've tried it. I highly recommend using it if you don't already. I will post my settings at the bottom of this review. Thank you very much for the work you've done @Will Keep up the great work!

The only five stars I've ever given out to a plugin before!

I've been looking for something that works as well as this, the only one I found remotely close was a plugin made in 2015, and it crashed my game; I'm so thankful somebody finally went ahead and made a new compatible one doesn't lag and works flawlessly. Say good-bye to shooting a suspect till their dead. Precision shots to the arms and torso can be used and successfully to take a suspect into custody.

Thank you so much to @BadMusician sometimes the most appreciated plugins are ones that are nice and small, keep up the great work!

    EMS Mod

       60,003    101

Very enjoyable mod, still in BETA hence the 3/5 stars, it's got some bugs, I've had it crash 3 times on me in the last hour, without using RagePluginHook it's hard to pinpoint a crash.

The AI medics/police are very erratic (Could just be GTA V), I find they plow through the scene and kill a few people, crashing their cars and causing more of a panic. The interaction is really neat, it's the most realistic medic script I've ever seen. There are a few things that most people wouldn't have any clue how to use unless they had some background knowledge of first aid.

As my previous experience as a paramedic, I find staging to be a big part of possible "dangerous" situations, I didn't get to try all the callouts, but for the most part, the "Shooter" one would have police already there before the ambulance or first responder medics to show up. I did find that the police were on the way, and I decided to stay back until the scene was clear for medics to be on scene, but the other ambulance called to the scene already jumped out and started performing medical aid to the casualty. (Playing as a Medic FBI2) IS there a way to turn off automatic medic backup but instead have it upon request?

Another thing I found was the location of the calls. I was waiting around the Pillbox Hill medical center and I got a call out for cardiac arrest in Paleto Bay. That's a bit of a drive, But since I was testing for the sake of reviewing I went all the way over there, somebody had drowned. The distance would be cool if you could set a patrol location, instead of just getting callouts all over the show, like having a Paleto Bay/Highway, Blaine County, Then split up Los Santos into a few different districts, and having the "Start Duty" as a blip at the hospital in that region, then it can help localize your callouts. I think that would be awesome, but this is in beta and I know we can expect from it. Though for the future that would be an awesome addition.

I love the fact that you transport the injured party to the nearest hospital. This is the coolest thing about the script, not only are you able to register first aid to the casualty but also getting your partner to continue the first aid in the back of the ambulance is very neat. Thought most of the time I found I didn't have to do that much since basic CPR and AED were able to bring them back to consciousness.

I noticed you can press "H" while arriving on the scene to teleport to the casualty. I accidentally did this while still driving at an attempt to turn my high-beams off but the ambulance kept driving for a bit. Maybe adding a smaller radius that the "Evaluation" key can be toggled?

But asides from the basic glitches and bugs I think the groundwork has been set for an amazing script. Though it would be nice to have this integrated with RPH so it could be loaded as a plugin instead of a script for diagnostic and crash report reasons, nonetheless it's got great potential and can't wait to see where it ends up.

  6. Nice little addition to the EUP Wardrobe, if you don't want to setup a few gear templates for yourself, use this one. Copy and paste it into your Wardrobe.ini file so it doesn't overwrite your existing. EMS outfit has Sergeant rank, but otherwise very nice. Quick and easy to use.

It's nice to see that not all fire-fighters wear respirators all the time.

  7. Nicely done, it'll be nice to have you create a few more encounters for this plugin, but I did really enjoy the realism to it all. I did have the callout end all of a sudden but got it working a few times after that. Look forward to the new additions you put on this pack in the future.

  8. I did these callouts a few times before reviewing this script.

I was really disappointed that the Bank Getaway Car callout didn't work, I was really looking forward to this one.

Brandishing a knife is something a little more on the unique side, I would prefer that the suspect walked up to you instead of ran, it would more simulate a person attempting a Police assisted suicide, not often are people charged with knives while they have a gun, though it does happen.

The homeless call I thought was very odd, I drove up to the scene, the individual was just walking around. I didn't notice him bothering anyone, he wasn't loitering he did have an odor of alcohol on him, but he was not staggering about disrupting people, so I decided to let him walk since we can't just search people without probable cause.

Lastly the stolen police vehicle, I'm not entirely sure why every stolen police vehicle is now being driven by a cop, but there are a couple other callouts that contain stolen emergency vehicles which are also driven by police officers.

Here is the link of the video I did on it. The police chase was not in the recording because Ultimate Backup had an issue after LSPDFR Crash at the end of the video and without backup, the pursuit didn't feel appropriate. All in all, keep up the good work making plugins, add some more variety and you've got yourself a good setup, thanks for your effort @AwsumTurtle

  9. Before reviewing this callout, I attempted each callouts several times. This is my honest review. I tested it with very minimal plugins (CompuLite, DeadlyWeapons, GrammarPolice, OP Immersive Dispatch, RedCallouts (for callout menu audio bypass and force ped to drop weapon) Stop the Ped, Traffic Policer and Ultimate Backup.) I was quite surprised with it to be honest, since the last update you can disable ambient events because lets face it, the littering ambient event was terrible, so I removed the ambient events before I tested it.

I ran into a few issues:

    • Indecent Exposure, Naked Girl (NSFW) - Girl running around in a bikini (it's simulated California this happens all the time) I wouldn't call it a crime.
    • Paparazo - I arrived at the beach and there was an individual taking pictures of the walk way and people on it, didn't see anything wrong with that, I let him go. You're allowed to take pictures of people in a public area.
    • Helpless Person - Was an overdose or something at the beach, automatically calls for EMS and cancels the call, seems odd to me you just show up and press Y and it completes itself.
    • Disruption - Random guy with a dog in the bar, after you tell him he's going to get a ticket, him and his dog attack you. Very needless because the dog wont back down so you need to kill it.
    • Sex Harassement/Raping - Victim runs and won't stop to talk to you, but the dialogue acts like she is right next to you. Perverted man running around with a dildo in his holster.
    • Dead Body found - 4/5 times I did it nothing happened ,maybe it was just glitched for me but I can't rate this one. When I finally got the callout in Sandy Shores I was able to see the body, and find 1 piece of evidence (Pills) suspecting of an overdose, didn't get to collect any witness statements callout ended after picking up a nearby knife.
    • Silent Alarm in Cluckin Bell Factory; Contanimated food; Criminal Employeers - Everyone you talk to has the same name Katie Rhodes, Lily Ward, upon finding the two suspected of poisoning the food, they pull a fully automatic weapon out of their ass and shoot you dead, no time to even remove your weapon from its holster.
    • Unmanned Luggage; explosives suspected - String to call explosives technician doesn't work, so nothing you can really do, I wasn't prompted to do anything else.
    • Active shooter at university - Possible Covid incident doesn't even work.
    • Data theft / hacking at the server farm (thx @sEbi3 for helping) - The most intriguing callout, SWAT rushes into the Data Farm and you kill a lot of people, can't arrest anyone they all end up dying.
    • Fare Dodger - Random guy in the subway "lost his ticket" you fine him $60 and it's done.

I really think that the type of callouts are unique and captivating, but the fact that pressing "Y" on most of them handles the entire situation there isn't much left for you to do. Wish they let you write out the ticket, or be able to change the outcome of a situation by how you act and how you play it out, but it seemed to be rather cut in stone. Hope this helped some of you come to the conclusion if you wanted to use it or not.
