  1. If i see a vehicle stopped at the side of the road, its 50% likely to be a police car...

But CSP nearly ALWAYS parks in the median between the lanes of traffic (no one else will park there)... And if you are paying attention you can see them from miles off... But its really the ones who are speeding & not paying attention that are the problem. Even though you can see them from like a mile away, they wont sit there for more than 5 mins before pulling someone over (atleast that ive noticed).

You know what we need in GTAIV though, is a script that makes some cars just speed and/or drive crazy. Cuz its boring sitting watching for speeders when they're all programmed to do the same speed. haha.

  2. I tried attaching the file to the post, but i guess i cant do that or something, because it didnt show up.

    Here's a download link.

    http://www.2shared.c...f/Radarnet.html

(i always hate these download places, cuz they trick u into downloading stuff... but just click the blue download button about 2/3 way down the page)

FYI... For soeme reason i cant re-edit my first post. So could a MOD or someone who can, please delete this post, and put the download link into the first one? Oh, and delete the first line where it says it doesnt work, because it does now :)

  3. Give me 10 mins, for some reason its not working right now... I thought i uploaded a version that worked. Hmm.

Ok. So this is my first script for any GTA series.

    What this script does:

Return the speed of two vehicles, and allow you to lock that speed for reference.

It will essentially draw a line directly (in-front & behind) you for 100 yards (ish).

It will return the speed of the closest vehicle to you, along that line (will catch two lanes either side of you, most of the time).

At any time you can lock the speed that is displayed. The lock will be displayed to the right of the read-out, with the front reading first.

    Keys:

    I - start radar

    U - Lock Speed

Im not really going to offer any support for this, but if you are having problems let me know - I've only tested on one system, mine.

It seems to work just fine on my system, I really made it for myself, but I thought I should probably share it, as others might want to use it.

Also, if you want to use the source to incorporate it into your own mods, let me know!

Btw. This will output to the top of the screen, other scripts might output here too. Right now i have fairly limited knowledge of 1. the language, and 2. modding for gta 4. Maybe in a future version I'll have it output legitimately to the screen :)

    Installation:

Drop into your GTAIV Scripts folder

    Requirements:

Scripthook.net (Works fine withe the scripthook that LCPDFR 0.95 has - thast what im running, im sure it works fine with the one 0.91 has too (untested though)) http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=392325

.net framework (You should already have this with LCPDFR)

  4. Not sure if im allowed to put this as a reply or not. If not sorry! Just trying to be helpful.

Press ALT+B a few times, AND / OR... Press F12 as you get closer.

I do that and there are always like 30 police officers there or so when i get there!

  5. I guess this is a bug more than anything else. But i stopped to break up a fight between 2 peds, and my partner disappears. After i arrest the peds who were fighting, i return to my car... I hear "ahhhh", "splat". My partner just fell from the sky. :(

  6. Ok. So every time i find a CVPI mod that i like, it makes my game really laggy (for some reason GTAIV doesnt like my comptuer. haha)

    So...

Does anyone know of any low-spec cvpi's out there?

    OR

Where can i re-download the original cars! haha. i never backed up :D

I just realised that driving a normal vehicle around Liberty City was actually quite fun, not laggy at all.

Oh and im using ELS too, so any ideas?

    Thanks!!

  7. I pulled over a yellow taxi van for running a red light. I approach the vehicle and there is a homeless person in the back seat? I checked his license, and it came back revoked, with an arrest warrant. I go ahead and arrest the driver, and call in a transport unit to get him. Next thing i know, the homeless person is out of the van and said something along the lines of "im gonna stab you". I pull out my gun, but not soon enough - the homeless man (with no knife in hand) punches me. This brings me down from FULL health and armor to dead...

Chuck Norris is in Liberty City!

  8. Hi,

So ive purchased GTA 4 for PS3 twice (because the disk got damaged and wouldnt load up anymore, haha). But since i couldnt use that for running this mod, i tried a cracked version (seeing as i paid for it twice already). Well, it looks like there isnt any support for any form of cracked version, and it didnt run. haha.

So my next option is to buy it on steam then install lcpdfr. Will this work?

Im worried that it wont, as steam probably re packages everything just like they usually do. Might it not work as the crack didnt work?

    Thanks.
