LSPersistenceD 5 - Sleekly Smart Persistence!
smokified commented on x otikoruk x's file in GTA5 Mods Scripts & Plugins
You can first try disabling LSPD5 to see if the issue still happens. If it does, it is not this mod causing the issue. If the issue stops, you should probably report your whole crash log. Regarding the issues I previously reported...I have unfortunately had to disable LSPD5 to play the game without these bugs. LSPD5 makes a ton of things better, but the things it makes worse ruin the game for me. Nothing is more frustrating than going through several minutes of working through the arrest process, just to have the peds glitch out and have it all crashing down at the end. I do hope this mod can be updated to fix this problem, as it is something LSPDFR really needs. -
I have not had any of the issues being recently reported, but I ran into a different one, it is minor. When issuing a ticket or warning to a stopped vehicle, the ped is not released. I am having to open the default interaction menu to release the ped after issuing a summons/ticket or warning. Is it possible to maybe just add a "dismiss ped(s)" option in the menu?

You can't issue a citation once you put the arrested ped in the car. You would have to issue the citation/summons outside of the car, and then put them in the car to make the arrest report. Maybe just remove the arrest report part and have the citation/summons be the menu that is used in both scenarios. Maybe a "Ped Arrested" check box or something..... The setting for peds being dismissed has to do with peds that you have not started interacting with after getting their attention. The peds I am having trouble with are the ones I arrest with Stop the Ped.

I am having an issue where Peds that I stop and interact with using I+ seem to forget what is going on after like 2 minutes. I have had several Peds drive off while I have been writing tickets in the car. Some of them will walk off while I am interacting with them. I have tried this with and without LSPD5, and it doesn't seem to make a difference. Also, an unrelated suggestion: All of the offenses that are listed in the citation/summons menu should also be available for an arrest report. Even though a person may be arrested for having drugs in the car, they should also still get a ticket for speeding or whatever else it was that got them pulled over.

I did some additional testing last night and found: -The issue does not seem to happen nearly as often if you use the 'grab the ped' option from the menu and walk up to the car and use the 'put ped in car' option from the menu -If you use the Ctrl-T option to grab the ped, walk them to the car, then use the E option to put them in the car, it seems to happen often. -If you bump into the ped while the ped is getting into the car, this seems to interfere with the script -If you put the ped into the car from as from the furthest point possible away from the car to trigger the option, it seems to eliminate the issue. I am not sure how much of this is with Persistence or with STP. I do know it doesn't seem to be as touchy when the persistence mod is disabled. It would seem that the STP script gets disrupted somehow if certain 'perfect conditions' don't exist when persistence is also running. -

The list is long, but distinguished.... -Computer Plus -Interaction Plus -LSPDFR Comes Alive -LSPDFR + -Police Smart Radio -PursuitOnTheFly -SearchWarrant -STP -Traffic Policer -Ultimate Backup -Smart Persistence -EUP -Several different callouts -I am also using RadianceV, DLC Modding Pack V Latest RPH, Latest NativeUI, Latest Albo1125.common (that I can find). No need to apologize, I wouldn't even know where to start making a mod like this. I just wanted to let you know what I found during testing to help your efforts. -

I am still having issues with Peds getting out of the car. I have done some testing: -This doesn't seem to happen at all without the persistence mod installed after the most recent STP update -The arrested peds don't seem to get out nearly as often if you put them into the right side door. -I have had peds sit in the car for a couple of minutes, but then get out of the car and start walking away. Neither the STP menu or default stop menu would work -The issue seems worse now than it did before it was 'fixed' I am not knocking the efforts here at all. The part that is frustrating is that LSPDFR is annoying without this mod, but in some cases it is more annoying with it. The talented modders here should join the Police 1013 development team so that we can finally have a standalone police simulator that doesn't have to be pieced together. -
I would install Modding DLC Pack V. Then you don't have to mess around with patch day folders.

Did you modify your vehicledata.xml file when installing textures? -
What I am mostly looking for is smarter AI drivers. What is the best one of those available today?

I am having this issue with STP also, but it doesn't seem to matter whether or not I am using persistence. Once they hop out of the car, I am no longer able to use the STP menu, and sometimes I can't use the standard stop/interact menu. The ped will just stand there and then run away if I bump into them. -

Has anyone been able to make LSPDFR work with GTA V Realism? I have quite an LSPDFR build (a good number of plugins/addons..etc) that is stable, including custom cars. I am looking at GTA V Realism, and it is a big mod that modifies a ton of files. If I install GTA V Realism, will it break everything that I have already customized? I would hate to have to reinstall and rebuild my LSPDFR setup, but if I did do that and installed GTA V Realism first...would that allow me to run it with LSPDFR?
-
I second this issue. Peds just hop right out of the car. In most cases, I can't even talk to them afterwards. Sometimes they run off..at which point I can stop them again. I cannot grab them and attempt to put them in the car again after they jump out...I get the message indicating the script can't find a nearby ped to grab.
-
Did you install LSPDFR first, and then Rage Plugin Hook? Did you use the manual, or automatic method of installing LSPDFR? Also, make sure to download the latest Albo1125.common file. It should be dated 2/18/2018

When using Stop the Ped to put an arrested suspect into a vehicle, the script seems to run, the officer opens the door and moves out of the way, the suspect will get into the car, but about 70% of the time, the suspect will just hop right back out of the car. To add to the issue, the suspect is now no longer in a state where it is arrested, and many times I can't interact, other than grabbing onto them with the Stop the Ped key. If I bump into them, they will run off as if I just showed them a picture of Hillary Clinton naked. Has anyone else seen this behavior? Is there some kind of workaround to help prevent it from happening?
