  1. Hello everyone I'm enjoying my time back and playing LSPDFR again.
Just wanted to know peoples suggestions for stable working addons/mods for LSPDFR right now. I have all the basics already ofcourse.
Looking for map suggestions (open IV install only) and any scripts for making the world feel more alive (ambience mods etc) and anything else anyone can think of that they are using right now that makes the game feel more fun and/or immersive! 😀

Anyway, thanks for the rest of the stable mods, my LSPDFR is now immersive AF, love it !!

Oooh, just found out that NaturalV is leading to a dead end too :

    GTA5-MODS is telling me :

The page you were looking for doesn't exist.

Anyway, thanks for all that is working, it is a blast !!

I'm thinking of making a come back. I miss this mod and this community.
If I do I will update this entire thread for the 0.4.9 version of the game and rigorously test it.
Glad this list still works somewhat for people. 🙂

Fully appreciate the work you have all done to make this possible.

It has been a long three days of learning through trial and error how to add plugins, skins, dlc, fix issues, etc. And now I'm feeling confident enough to proceed further and make the experience as immersive and enjoyable as possible.

I regret not backing up before modding though. That'll soon be a huge mistake of mine.

If you have the hard drive space, be sure to have a vanilla (unmodded, untouched) copy of GTAV and rename this to Vanilla (or something like that).
Then have youre GTAV file you load up for LSPDFR (modded or not) separate and keep this as the default folder name.
And then when you add mods and addons, take your time and add one at a time (remove which ever mod is causing an issue instantly) and keep this file also separate, to be sure you keep a stable working version of the game (copy paste it and rename folder ie. Working, Stable).

This helped me greatly when learning the modding process.
When it all goes tits up and some how corrupts both your LSPDFR files, delete them completely and start from the fresh vanila GTAV file.

    Good luck!

Hello and thx so much for this guide.

Where we can find this .ini files and settings ?

The link at this mod CompuLite Citations & Charges Realistic don't work and I can't find it .

    Also this link L.A. Roads + L.A. Roads Patch [Add-On] don't work .

About the reshade I didn't understand well, you suggest install the reshade with the 2 options LumaSharpen + Technicolour2 without any value and setting? usually the reshade and enb must be calibrate or I wrong ? :X

PS: u didn't tried the naturalvision evolved ?

Thx in advance for your time.

Glad I could help. I haven't been playing this for atleast a year or two now so apologies for not updating the list. Looks like CompuLite is gone (RIP) & LA Roads aswell. So you will have to look for alternatives or similar remakes/copies of those elsewhere.

As for for the reshade and Natural V question; I tried all visual modifications at one point and this combination just happened to be what I liked. These are a personal preference for everybody (was just trying to help people who didn't know where to look for them) and I suggest you do what suits you best and gives you the most performance.

Hope this helps, good luck & thank you!

It has been about 1-2 years since I have been back on LSPDFR. I noticed Albo retired his Smart Radio plugin. That was an amazing feature! Has someone replaced this function with a visual radio UI that makes various plugin functions more streamlined? I was unable to find anything in this thread or on the website upon an initial review.

    Thanks! 🙂

Nah there's nothing at the moment unfortunately. Some people have got Police Radio to work but I don't know how.

Thank you for this! I'm definitely going to try it out now!

For some reason I no longer go on duty with the combat pistol and only have three magazines, any idea where I can change that back?

Change you loadout when you go on duty. You can choose Patrol, Detective and something else i forget the third option).

Use a trainer if you're not getting enough ammunition is my best advice probably.

hey sssneaky, thanks for all the hardwork and tweaking stuff around and posting what works for you. I know you don't really wanna post what callout packs youre using because it's sorta subjective but I was curious what you're using. My game runs pretty stable but I feel like I run into some issues/crashes that seem to be callout packs specific.
I think you said you're using traffic callouts, simple callouts, typical, and united callouts (which was later removed ?). What are the other callout packs you added on? Thanks.

Any callout packs that are updated for the latest version of LSPDFR is pretty much all I use. It's best to not use many more than 3 callout packs at the same time or else you wont proc certain callouts in the packs unless forced by a menu. Make sure to add just ambient events for extra things going on. Hope this helps!

  8. Added Richs Police Enhancements

    Ambient Emergency Response

    Superevents

    Clean all the things tool

After an hours test I had no issues with them. Tried testing with Darkmyres "LSPDFR Comes Alive" stacked ontop but it caused "Game Fiber" crashes to often. With these 3 ambient mods the game feels really alive. Especially in town.
Richs police enhancements I should have added WAY earlier, the extra dispatch audio is really nice in pursuits.

Which btw these ambient mods are perfect for, just cruising around with your ALPR and speed radar up and finding high tier targets to pull over. It's ended up in being either a foot pursuit or a long car chase in most cases, which is really fun.

  9. There's a default game function that allows you to do this (not with an AR, but your pistol) but i've forgotten how to do it for a while now.
Basically you hold and press something while getting out of your car and you instantly hold your gun up and aim it forwards without like you said having to access the weapon wheel.
