  1. Devin Plays's Dashcam V positions

Thanks for checking out my dash cam presets. I decided it would be fun and immersive for my YouTube video's to reposition the dash cam positions from Dashcam V so that they were displaying from where the camera model is mounted in vehicles that have them.  The viewpoint is positioned directly in front of the mounted camera and moved forward just far enough to get it outside the glass to avoid odd texture effects.

This is not a comprehensive list, it is only vehicles I have used in my videos. I will continue to expand this. I also included my default positions for cars that don't have cameras modeled.  This download will include the X, Y and Z positions for the vehicles supported, as well as a list of supported vehicles and links to those vehicles.

If there are vehicles/packs you'd like done, and you don't wanna follow the easy tutorial below, lemme know and I'll probably make it happen for you!

Here is a link to a video with a correctly positioned dashcam in action.
Supported vehicles so you don't have to DL to find out

  2. Devin Plays STP and GP XML files

The pic is literally for attention

So, I get asked a lot for my items lists and what not pretty frequently and they are available in my Discord but I thought it would be easier to also provide an upload. For me, this is basically a continuation of the upload I shared with @Westcoaster you may know as New Custom Questions and he did an amazing job keeping that up to date when I was too lazy to do so, and so I would be remiss without offering him big thanks for that.

    What is this?
This is a copy of all of my STP XML files covering custom questions on foot and during a traffic stop, vehicle and pat down items, and answers to base STP questions. There are over 130 pages of items, all in lore aside from the firearms, and are compatible with STPs firearms check and drug reagent testing.

In addition, I have included my XMLs for Grammar Police/Immersive Dispatch, and you will have to have ID for this to work. These are phrased the way I was taught to use a radio utilizing terminology I'm familiar with but it seems a lot of people have also liked what they've heard, so its all yours if you want it. I do not use ten codes, eleven codes, or any other kind of codes because plain talk is superior, don't @ me. If you don't like that, these GP files are not for you.

    Something to be aware of
Be aware that I did not include or modify all files from Immersive Dispatch, because some of the features I don't use. This includes, but is not limited to, State Code2 and Code3 backup....if you install this after ID, you'll still have those XMLs, and can modify them to your taste. In addition, the XML file for panic button usage has been modified to use Ultimate Backups panic button feature, as opposed to GP/IDs native panic, so be aware of that.

    Credits
Kyrusia for his work on the items
Westcoaster for his working with me and all his effort in maintaining the old NewCustomQuestions upload.
jbuzz because he helped with the initial questions as well
furaihan for the STP insurance XML
Obviously Bejo, opus49, and OfficerPope for their work in creating their various plugins and extension, as well as the confg for UB panic backuup

  3. Devin Plays' Safariland PROTECH vest textures

So, I'm not much of an artist, but, I really liked these Safariland PROTECH vests by @Patricktan112 and wanted to create some versions for the various department I often use in vides. So, being the pleb that I am, I fired up ole MSPaint and made up some quick and dirty textures. Much to my amazement, some people seemed to actually like them, so, I figured I'd upload them. They are intended for variant 5 of the supported vest, but, may work with the others as well.

    There are five supported departments
    Blaine County Sheriff's Office
    Harmony Township Police Department
University of Los Santos Campus Police
    Rockford Hills Police Department
    Vespucci Beach Police Department

Also, the Harmony vest has a logo on it which matches the uniforms I'm using for them. That logo came from here

Check out my YouTube channels Discord and here are a couple videos which feature these vests

    Download the supported vest
    https://www.lcpdfr.com/downloads/gta5mods/character/28626-safariland-protech-oregon-city-armor-carrier/

You can follow the original install instructions, or you can install it anywhere else you like. I chose to install the vest to
    Mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\eup\dlc.rpf\x64\eup_componentpeds.rpf\mp_m_freemode_01 as Task_001

So, if you were to do that, your files would look like this
    task_001_u.ydd
    task_diff_001_a_uni.ytd

Now, if you want to use all the included textures. Made copies of “task_diff_001_a_uni.ytd “ and rename them b, c, d and e….so you end up with
    task_001_u.ydd
    task_diff_001_a_uni.ytd
    task_diff_001_b_uni.ytd
    task_diff_001_c_uni.ytd
    task_diff_001_d_uni.ytd
    task_diff_001_e_uni.ytd

Then simply replace the textures with the images I provided. Note that these are intended for use with variant 5 in the original download, but should work for variant 3, and possibly the others, I didn't bother to test.

  4. Ohio based ComputeLite charges and citations

Hey everyone! Not a big deal here, but, I took some time to modify the charges.xml for ComputerLite to bring them into line with the Ohio Revised Code. This charges are as realistic as I could possibly get them. They are originated into groups and then listed in order of misdemeanor or felony level and then alphabetically. I also included a non-usable section to show which schedule narcotics fall under and the bulk weight for drugs for purposes of charging. I pulled the idea from the Lore-Friendly Charges and Citations for CompuLite by Westcoaster.  You should also check out NewCustomQuestions, also by Westcoaster, and myself, which will allow you some deeper interaction with suspects.  Lore-Friendly Search Items will help with drug and weapons charges.

I have modified by Stop The Ped search items to include weights and amounts, and I included my files, but review them before you replace yours in case you don't want to use them. I also highly recommend you keep a copy of your current charges.sml in case you don't enjoy this level of spergery.

Anyways, plop this in your GTA V/plugins/LSPDFR/Computerlite file and overwrite if promoted (make a backup). If you wanna use the pat down and vehicle items, they go in your Stop The Ped folder in the same location.
For the Impersonating an officer charge, use CompuLite or the default LSPDFR computer/radio to check LEO status.

    Hope you enjoy!

Here is an example of the charges in use

  5. Devin Plays XScanner audio files

A long time ago I discovered the awesome XScanner plugin and figured out how to include my own clips for fun. So, what I've done is gone through literal hours of police radio recordings, including some recorded myself of my hometown's police department, as well as samples from this awesome YouTube channel and a few other sources to bring you 162 new audio clips (with more coming) for your immersive pleasure. I tried to avoid any clips that would usually necessitate a response from any available officers, such as officers calling out being under fire or officers down. because I felt not being able to actually respond to those would be a little immersion breaking. What we have here are a collection of clips from mundane radio traffic as well as foot and vehicle pursuits. In total, you will have a brand new ambient dispatch environment operating in the background

XScanner is required for these clips to function. I linked to it above and in the readme. Its a simple install and well worth the .5 seconds it'll take you to install it.

Here is a video showcasing some selected sound samples

I do intend to add more clips as time/desire permits

  6. Devin Plays's Vocal Dispatch XML files

So, a lot....and I mean a lot of people have hit me up since I started doing videos asking me how I get turbofandude's Vocal Dispatch to work so well. The truth is, just like a real dispatcher....and other human beings, I feel like it never understands me. However, it seems that other people have even more problems with it recognizing their voice than I do. I've shared these files with many, many people, and so I figured I'd just distribute them to the general public.

I have edited the phrases in each of the Vocal Dispatch XML files I use to be more realistic and utilize plain talk over ten codes. Some of the ten codes are still intact, but, most are not. If you like ten codes, don't use this or you can combine the existing 10 code phrases with what I have here.  It's designed to be easy to use, short, concise, and to the point, just like how radio traffic should be.

In addition to modifying the default.xml file, all of the plugins that use Vocal Dispatch that I'm aware of are included but some of them, notably PSR and ArrestManager, are largely unmodified. Included is:

    Stop The Ped
    Check up script
    Police Smart Radio
    Officer Status Plugin
    Ultimate Backup

    Just drop these files into
    Grand Theft Auto V\plugins\LSPDFR\VocalDispatch

I do suggest you backup your original files in case you don't like mine. I also suggest you open the XMLs and read what its looking for so you know what phrases to use. I'd suggest just watching my videos and mimicking me....but that'd be shameless self promotion and I'm totally not above that.

Also, if you haven't done the Windows voice training, you should. It really helps.

Here's one of those videos I mentioned!

  7. Small Computer+ background pack

This is my first uploads, be kind!

This is just some simple backgrounds I threw together for my own use with PieRGud's Computer+ . I thought some other people
might enjoy them, so I figured I'd put them out there.

As a note, my visual art skills are not the best, and so I know these are not as refined as they could be. If anyone wants to volunteer to clean them up in a better program, I'd be forever in your debt. I looked to see if any of the art I used had statements stating it cannot be reuploaded and  I didn't find any, however, if you are the original artist of content used in these and I did not credit you or I did and you want it removed, I will do so.

Installation is simple and is detailed in the readme, as are credits. Feel free to modify as you wish. I don't care if people reupload but please, if you do, credit the people who
have actual artistic skill. I don't care about any credit myself.
