  1. It is actually a normal behavior for a system to not use all available resources to run a program! Any application uses only as much RAM, CPU etc. as it needs to run. To have an application use more resources than it really needs would, if anything, reduce the performance rather than improve it. Sometimes, reduced performance is also linked to hardware being worn out or overheating in which case, you would usually experience FPS drops or, in extreme cases, thermal throttling. If you are not satisfied with the above information, try to take a look into your GTA folder - maybe you have some mods or scripts that significantly reduce the performance? I know that some of these can be quite problematic, causing slowdowns or even regular, albeit very short, freezes.
  2. LSPDFR as such does not require .NET - it's the RPH that does! Having said that, you should look it up on their page. When I took my first steps with LSPDFR, I also had some trouble. RPH was unable to even launch the game. However, when I got my .NET right, it just all went away and I could play normally. So my "qualified guess" is that the same might work for you. Especially given the message in your log that relates to a .NET exception.
  3. Hi @Central. I'm not an expert myself, but I do see a line that says "DOT_NET_EXCEPTION". That makes me think that there must be something wrong with the .NET environment on your system. Are you sure you have the .NET version required for the LSPDFR? You can always just reinstall it to make sure.
  4. That's just what I did and it worked. Thank you. For some reason the first .ini was there but had no "CheckVIN" entry.
  5. I have nothing like "PeterUCallouts.ini" in the plugin folder, so how am I supposed to set this VIN key...? And yes, I played this pack numerous times before and the .ini file has never been generated. Any help?
  6. It could be helpful to know just how small the drug items exactly are in the drug runners callout. I have completed this callout yesterday and missed out the only piece of evidence out there, lol. Anybody got a picture of how this stuff looks like?
  7. Possibly a bug, but I attempted the "Insecure load" callout. Of course, I called in for a contractor but they never arrived... No contractor blip, no nothing. I had to cancel it. I tweaked the values in the .ini and it apparently helped as the contractor did appear very quickly. Still does not explain why there was no blip or lift the first time through...
  8. It absolutely sucks to have an an update break LSPDFR itself, forcing the mod to be updated rather than just RPH. I hope I will still be able to use version 0.42, as this is the most stable one available up to date. It worked like magic... Sadly, with the new GTA Launcher it started to crash ocassionaly.
  9. I also get that, but in my case firing the stun gun doesn't help at all. Once the stunned perp begins to surrender, the lead from other officers showers back again on the poor dog. Something that should be investigated by Our Superiors, for sure.
  10. It is not Rockstar who are in the bad but the jerks at Fake-Two. Rockstar is Just a game-maker and no matter what they create... they unfortunately need a publisher to get to the market. Having said that, Fake-Two simply holds R* by the balls. This is one of the reasons Mr. Benzies left the company and took "a publisher" to the court. Then again, with an established title that GTA series is, I find it highly dubious that R* would even need any company to go and publish their games in the first place... People would still buy these... @Reddington Thank you for your Input. I've been able to run the RPH afterwards several times, so I think the Launcher version does not influence one's ability to run the game as much as the .exe version.
  11. I have a question - my game did not update thanks to another clever method that I thought of. HOWEVER, my GTA Launcher did update to the 173... whatever version. I had some issues trying to run RPH after that... It simply would not run. Eventually, however, it did run after a restart. Do you think I can safely play and run LSPDFR with this new launcher version? Or am I going to run into problems eventually? Thanks, TMC
  12. Just one more thought @sEbi3. Would you (time allowing) consider adding an "Indecent exposure" callout to your pack? I've seen something like this in the long-abandoned "Code Red Callouts" pack and was wondering if we could possibly get anything like that again? No, seriously - it's not the boobs I miss! "Indecent exposure" is one of the "mundane" callouts that are lacking on this page. Also, a very broad array of possible responses exist for such an event. Let me give you some examples. Suppose you find someone running about naked on the beach. In that case, law enforcers would rather be quite lenient to such behavior since beaches are generally understood to be places that are quite revealing of a human body. Someone forgot their upper cover... big what... Another situation - you see someone without clothes, running around in a residential area. Crazy. But what if...? What if their partner / fiancee / one-night stand kicked them out of the house and locked them out? Would you so readily arrest a person who is already going through a very embarrassing and stressful situation? Then however, you have someone strolling clotheless in a business district of the city. It would be extra weird to see someone naked in a place where other people are dead serious and work hard to make some good money. How would you react then? And then of course, you encounter someone who is naked AND in a restricted area like a military base or an airport. In that case, him/her wearing no clothes is just a secondary concern. The fact that they are trespassing is what makes matters serious.
  13. So there's gonna be a 0.42-compatibile version of this callout?? Great! I'm asking because this is a very nice collection. Unfortunately, "Gang Attack" causes frequent crashes in RPH. I can see in the comments this is also what others get.
  14. No luck unfortunately... Now I get another error with the following message... I got it when attempting to cancel an already accepted callout with an "X" key.
  15. Ummm... Okay, I checked it and experienced no crashes on two approaches to the Downtown station... Kind of surprising given I can see no difference between the two files... Is it too good to be true? I'll make some more tests!
  16. Hey @Pavy. Thank you for an answer, but this is, word for word, the exact same "backup.xml" file that I already have in my lspdfr folder...
  17. Still no reply...? Wow... that's uncalled for... Anyway, I actually noticed that all crashes take place either at or when approaching the Los Santos Downtown police station. I mean, if there is anyone at all who actually cares...
  18. Guys, First of all, hello from a long-time player, first-time police officer. I just immersed myself into LSPDFR and joined your fine community. Although I generally enjoy LSPD:FR and all the fun it brings, I am getting frequent RPH crashes that force me to often type in the "Reload" command, which is a nuisance... I wonder if you could somehow help me fix this annoying issue, based on the attached log of my RPH. Please go to [2018-12-27 10:38:18.042], [2018-12-27 10:43:17.350] and [2018-12-27 11:01:40.479] time stamps to acquaint yourself with each of the crash instances I have encountered today. And yes - there are a few of them as you can see! Though I am not an expert in this field, from the error messages I noticed that it might be related to the callout packs I have installed, because the callout names appear there. Anyway, if you could help me and suggest what steps I should take to get it running, that would be very nice. By the way, I just have two callout packs: Code Red Callouts United Callouts (from gta5 mods) I also use Script Hook, Script Hook V .NET and some scripts for the story mode (Menyoo, Native Trainer, Longer Days modification). I also have the VisualV graphics mod. I never experience crashes of the actual game and all of my scripts always worked. I always have all of the dependables properly installed and all modifications that I have ever downloaded for GTA worked properly. Thank you RagePluginHook.log
