Yes there is a way... Kinda ... if you use DnSpy you can edit the dll's and reroute some stuff but for plugins you would have to edit every plugin you add.

Agreed. lets say LSPDFR gets released and no one gets notified only a few people would ever now it got updated. I could understand if they made an announcement when it gets updated but people want to know when to look at the site to see if it got updated
