  1. well I feel like an idiot, I thought I saved the force windowed mode setting, for some reason It did not save initially..   so my fix was making sure "force windowed mode" it checked and SAVED in RPH           I know this is obvious but I just figured it saved    shame on me for not double checking

  2. Hey guys, thought I would weigh in as well.   Since last rph and / or gta update I am having the same issue where rage will not hook, I end up in the gta 5 loading screen and eventually into game with no rage.  I always start “forced windowed mode” and have had no issue until recent.   My only “work around”  as of late is to launch rage and enter rage settings prior to game launch  then just choose  save and launch.    I had more luck getting rage to hook that way but even that has become sporadic.   I will be following this with you guys

  3. You simply do not have that patchday copied into your mods folder,  follow the same path you posted minus the mod folder in open iv (make sure you are in edit mode)  once you get into dlc pack and find patchday9 you should see a red header above warning you are not inside your mods folder.  Then from there you could be given an option to copy that folder to your mods folder.   Once you click it open iv instantly copies pathday9 into your mods folder and you may proceed.

What would be cool is if the cop cars are held at say 5 over the speed limits to make it easier using a controller and not out run every car no matter where you are, and once you activate stage 3 lights, boom, you can run as fast as you can go.  I would love to learn how to script, but I am simply too slow to learn.

I can’t script anymore than you , however, That is a really good idea!

Anyway,  the hype is real now, 0.4 is soo close I can taste it! 😂

  5. that message pops up when you are in edit mode and have old update rpf in there    open iv detects it, I changed that earlier but it caused my game to crash at loadup

the only thing that works for me now is starting a fresh mod folder, however, the second I try adding vehicles it crashes again.  this will take a while for me to sort out

I have the solution ( it worked with me), open openIV, click on your mods folder, click edit and then a green note will pop up, it will say something like update your mods folder to a recent update ( it said something similar to that ) and there will be a clickable button says update mods folder.

just curious.... after you did that would your game load and play normally?  mine crashed

As with every update, you have to delete your mods folder in OpenIV. Then the game should load properly.

my god I knew it was something stupid I overlooked.... I feel like a moron  -    deleted mods folder, started new mods folder and copied new rpf in and we r good to go!!    time to load all my damn cars back in      I don't care if there is another way ill start from scratch

    thank you!

  8. You are griping over day 1 stuff, you really need to appreciate this community a little more.  This game wasn’t designed with lspdfr in mind, it was created from some very talented people who made it work (if you yourself ask why can’t it be easy, think of how complex coding lspdfr is )

You got a perfect response for realtjennings and snap at him because you didn’t take the time to research this on your own. I really hate seeing responses like yours.

Constructive criticism:  you will get no help from this community with your attitude

Now with that being said. Did you figure everything out yet or still having issues?
