If you're going to say if a mod is working or not, please make sure you are using the latest version of the mod. Telling everyone that a mod doesnt work because you're using the older version does nothing for anyone.
Also try and verify that a crashing plugin isnt from either improper data modifications (not installing mods into the mods folder correctly), wrong version, or conflicting with another plugin you are using.
By doing these things we will cut down on the misinformation in this thread.
I've given up helping people fix their broken games. 98% of the fixes have included fixing an improper installation and/or having the person update their game/mods. I have literally given up fixing games because of this, because then they want a step-by-step walkthrough to installing peds, cars, liveries, etc. Like no, if you can't handle downloading the most up to date version of a plugin and literally drag and dropping it into your directory, you don't deserve the more complicated stuff. Harsh, but true.
I've left this list untouched because by now, most everything (especially the major, popular plugins) are updated and working for 0.4/0.4.1. This thread was made literally hours after the release of 0.4.

Bang, figured it out. You can add to the lspdfr config file. Was able to turn off the pursuit camera!
What did you use to disable the pursuit camera?
-
I just wanted to confirm that changing the vehicles.meta didn't spawn the right ped either, but that change alone did mess up the lighting. Lol
-
See my video below for proper ELS installation.

if you have ultimate backup, stop the ped will get the police model from UB local patrol (but not the vehicle)
Not to be argumentative, but obviously not because I have changed every relevant .ini relating to policet/prisoner transport. The only thing left to do now that I'm home is find the vehicles.meta containing policet and try to force the ped that way.

Check the vehicles.meta for POLICET, see what it says.
I’ll try changing it there and see what happens.
-
Just backup your entire current GTA V folder and try installing it. If it breaks the game or makes it otherwise unplayable, revert back.

Is it ultimate backup forcing a certain PED perhaps?
Possibly, but I doubt it. I have changed any and all peds in Stop The Ped, Ultimate Backup and LSPDFR agency files.

Did you change the settings in STP under "PrisonerTransport"?
Under the same category, make sure "ForceVehicleMetaPed" is set to no.
Of course I did lol. And it's set to no by default.

What .ini file are you looking for? There's typically one for every plugin, most scripts, etc., so narrowing down exactly what you're looking for would be extremely helpful.
Edit: After a reevaluation of your OP it seems as if you're looking for the LSPDFR .ini file to disable the pursuit cam. Unless there's something I'm missing, that's not an option we have at this time, though I do agree it's annoying.

See the picture of my plugins folder below to see the plugins that my game could possibly be pulling from. I've switched/verified that the ped I'm looking for is spelled and listed correctly (s_m_m_prisguard_01) and that it's changed wherever mentioned, but I still keep getting a city/county officer depending on my location. Any ideas? Police SmartRadio is using Stop The Ped for transport BTW.

Computer+ is a great mod but not for me. It's unpolished and hasn't been touched in a long time. It also uses the fantastic court system from LSPDFR+ (which in my tests has been unstable and doesn't work well with other mods). If I could just get the court system from them both somehow without interference I'd happily add them to my list but they just cause to much conflict at the moment.
Great mods, just not compatible with this many other mods right now.Wait, what? What's wrong with Computer+? It has never crashed my game and works wonderfully with the more asset images add-on and real California agency backgrounds.
Not attacking, just curious.

Maybe I'm not doing something right, and that's very possible as I'm still learning everyday, but LSPDFR 0.4/0.4.1 doesn't like replace or add-on vehicles the same way LSPDFR 0.3.1 did. No matter what gameconfig I use, no matter if I have the pack adjuster file or anything else, I can't get stable with real car mods. With 0.3.1 I had over 30 real vehicles (all under 15KB combined) replacing 75% of seen road traffic and with mostly the same graphics mods I run now as well all my .ymap files, and I was stable in that build for at least an hour (still no crash).
Regardless, good luck and I look forward to your progress!

If you can run GTA V, you can most likely run LSPDFR.
This.
LSPDFR and its requirements isn't that much more demanding than GTA V to begin with. It's when you start throwing in source-intensive plugins, custom vehicles, graphics mods, etc. that your computer lets you know where you stand.
-
GTA V is still a very demanding game even with today's top tier hardware. Couple that with the fact that people are out there playing with poorly optimized and/or outdated graphics mods and it's no surprise a lot of people can't play the game on anything above Normal or High.
-
Here's my last log from LSPDFR. It didn't crash, I just got bored lol. Went almost an hour with no problems whatsoever!
-
Did you try downloading the plugins from my thread and put them in your game all at one time? If so, you can't do that. I encourage you to install them one, maybe two, at a time and test that they work. Rinse, wash, repeat.
Also keep in mind that some of those plugins have to be installed in a particular order, but you'll know which ones those are just by reading the instructions/prerequisites.

my rage hook keeps crashing because of els how do i fix it it started happen during 0.41
What makes you think ELS is crashing it? Post your log. Also watch this video for proper ELS installation. Updating to 0.4.1 with ELS doesn't crash your game.

Oh wow that's your thread!? Dude you're basically the reason I'm at the stage I'm at. Combined with Albos tutorials I am now very fast at testing this mod and understanding what to do when something goes wrong. Thank you!
Just take your time and start from a base of LSPDFR and use the meta plugins you understand without callouts. Play for a bit, then add more. Add visuals after plugins, then add callouts last imo. I have found most crashes are caused by World events triggered by callouts, at least in my experience. Good luck!
That's me haha! No problem, glad I could be of assistance! I'll agree that it's usually callouts (or very outdated plugins) that cause 'random' crashes. I see people using plugins that haven't been updated since 2015-2016 and wonder why they're crashing nonstop. Lol
A good rule of thumb is that aside from game memory issues, graphics mods and .ymaps and the like won't crash your game/LSPDFR. That's mostly why I never included them in my original list and only stuck to the meat and potatoes of LSPDFR.
-
I'm running the same visual mods as you plus CityLights, Forests of San Andreas, LA Roads, Real Ads, Real Police Stations and Better License Plates. It's been stable for me so far but it's demanding. I'm also playing with the game settings maxed out, so that's definitely contributing. But if your machine can handle it, you won't find a better GTA V/LSPDFR experience from a realism standpoint. I just need a couple more cars to complete my real CA agencies fleet and then I'm set.
Also, I don't know if you missed it or not, but I started this thread when LSPDFR 0.4 first released. I've been a little slack in updating it recently but most everything works now, at least that's used by the majority of the community.

Say it ain't so! I went back to IGN for old time sake and it's so dead it's like I never left.
Still crashing on start up. Guess only thing left to do is to start over.
I tried logging on with my main account (the ibuprofen one) for the first time since like 2012 or so, and I just can't remember my password or associated email address.
But yeah, 0.4 has been particularly finicky lately. I'm restarting with 0.3 and quietly monitoring the progress of 0.4.
-
It has to do with files added to the game. Whether it's car models, plugins or something else, it's definitely something you added.

IGN, oh man that brings back some memories!
Thanks, gentlemen. I'll try these when I get back home. I don't know if counts for anything, but LSPDFR .4 was working just fine and flawless until I installed Easy Loadouts, so I uninstalled that and still LSPDFR was crashing when loading.
I'm I_b-U_p-R_o-F_e-N from IGN, I'm sure you remember me. Lol

KaneJr from IGN? If so, wow! If not, ignore. Lol
Try bumping your thresthold in Rage settings to something like 60000.

Add me to the list of not being able to download with Chrome and Edge (a last resort use). I haven't tried Firefox, but yeah, definitely an issue somewhere with something, whether it's LSPDFR/LCPDFR or not.
Edit: I can confirm that Firefox also works for me.
