It's what we in Contra Costa County used to refer to as a mobile emergency or Code 33.
Open: "Code 33 on channel 1"
Close: "Code 33 lifted, resume all normal traffic."

Never mind. Fixed.
It'll be great if you told us how.

Wish the vehicles had spotlights. Never seen any of our marked units without spotlights. Kinda weird.

Yeah, it seems to do it with the FPIU of this pack. Not sure what happened or why now it's starting this error: ERR_STR_FAILURE_3

Honestly Idk what causes error, my theory could be Openiv because It didn't change the skins of the vehicles or could be in which patchday has been istalled I followed the steps and nothing happens keeps the same thing for me
Normally it does fine. I've used this pack for some time now.
But this error just cropped up after the base game was updated, LSPDFR and all files were updated. Then I added the EUP configuration (Alex Ashford) file. Not sure if that did it.

I'm getting this error when spawning the 2014 FPIU vehicle: ERR_STR_FAILURE_3
Never had this error before. What causes that?

Actually, that's not enough. I've done that and Dispatch has mixed voices. They didn't just change one file, they merged various files and added some, so now it has less files than before and most audio files are reorganized. Here's an example image. Left = Original files with slight modding. Right = BetterDispatchAudio
Examples of new folders they added: COLOUR, ON_FOOT, SUSPECTS, SPECIFIC_LOCATION.
As a result, this mod is in need of an update
Oh well...
Does 'Plate Check' folder go into GTAV/lspdfr/audio/scanner ?

The instructions in the Read Me file shows the incorrect path.
The CORRECT path to the file that is to be replaced is: mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday2ng\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf

It's the ELS ones
Hmmm... so when all the stages are turned off, there's a steady burning red light showing... I'm assuming this is showing up on the lightbar.
That sounds like there is a setting in the ELS file that needs to be changed. This is one of the reasons why I use a brand new (blank) ELS file that has no wonky settings in it. It's so that I can make my own settings. There's a blank ELS file with the default settings configured in it. You can find the default ELS file inside the ELS folder. When you're inside that folder, go to the 'pack_default' folder and then finally the '@ unused' folder. Use the 'sample vcf' file and rename it the same name of the car you're replacing. For example, if you're replacing the 'police2' vehicle with a new ELS one, you need to rename the 'sample vcf' to 'police2'.

Really? Even when they're not responding to anything and just sitting in normal traffic?
Thats interesting
Oh, I misunderstood.
Is this an ELS vehicle you are using or a non-ELS?

Love the cars, REALLY love the patterns, especially the directional blue and amber on a traffic stop. But should the front steady burn red stay on even when the lights are off?
Yes, that's the way the actual CHP cruisers operate the lightbar.

this pack
and a 15 Tahoe model
This is only happening with this vehicle? The Tahoe?
1) First question is in regards to your install method. Did you just unzip the file and drag the files into the patchday folder? No renaming of the files or anything like that? Which patchday folder did you put the files in?
2) Did you add any of the other vehicles?
I noticed that there are 2 different Tahoes in each of those zipped packages. There's a 2013 Tahoe and a 2015 Tahoe. Have you tried both Tahoes?
3) The developer has 3 files that you can download. I'm not sure why he has 3 of them because it may confuse people. But see if you have the same problem with the Tahoes from all of the download packages.

Does anyone have a problem with the wheels of 2015 Tahoe?
What problem?

You posted your suggestion over a year ago, the OP replied and said he wasn't going to change his model. Instead of leaving it at that you decided to come back and post the same repetitive complaint again, and you didn't even post it in a constructive manner. If anyone's post here is toxic it is yours.
Maybe you confused a response he had for someone else? B'cause I don't see any responses to me. In any case, creating optional components seems like such a simple fix for users who want vehicles with spotlights, albeit a year or month later.
Perhaps you may want to develop this models with spotlights?

I'm not sure why you felt the need to complain a year later about something the creator already said he isn't going to do. Was that helpful or constructive? Nope. This isn't the only pack of vehicles like this. There are several other options for vehicles with similar setups, you can go download those if you don't like this one.
Because my suggestion may help others including the original poster develop models with optional components as 'extras'. Suggesting ways to help other users by adding more options. On the other hand, your reply was not helpful at all. And comes off as 'toxic'.

He already said he's not putting them on there. I'm not sure why you feel the need to come back a year later and continue to complain about it. If it is that big of a deal to you then go download a different pack.
I'm not sure why you felt the need to reply with that. I'm trying to determine if it was helpful.
Nope. Not helpful.
Making components an 'extra' would address common posts, hence the number of posts asking for it.
It's a perfect compromise. Options versus 'no-options'.

Where are the spotlights? For goodness sake, what police units have no spotlights.
At least make them extra... geeze

I won't be making one
Why?

Dude, you need to label which models are which packs. So that users don't have to waste time downloading both. They may only want one model.
-
Another example of poorly written instructions.
People should not be allowed to post addon files here if they cannot leave proper instructions.

Yes, this is an old post, but if anyone else still has this problem just change your vehicle names to make sure they are none of the following:
policepolice2
police3
fbi
fbi2
policeold
policeold2
sheriff
sheriff2
riot
policet
policeb
You're welcome
Uh, no. My added vehicle names are all those names. No issues.

@Kreemerz You can download the CHP pack, that The Hurk also made. There's a version of the bike with ELS, but instead of red and blue it's orange and blue on the back. I can gice you a red and blue light texture if you want.
Thanks so much! No worries on the texture. I can create that.
but it seems like this pack's motorcycle's Stage 1 and 2 don't work right. I've tried to edit the vcf file but doesn't seem to work.

This callout pack created a serious problem with the keybinding. There was a setting in here that assigned a 'panic button' to key U on the keyboard.
I kept searching and seaching for the cause of this annoying thing. Everyone else insisted it was a trainerV issue. Some said Ultimate Backup. Turned out it was this Callout Pack.
