Just wondering what a "trainer" is and why it's needed. I see that there are so many. Is it a menu system?

Okay, so the dim thing has always been a problem?
Temporarily move your mods folder onto your desktop. Now load into the game. Once in game, quit, and move your mods folder back into the directory.
Interesting. I will give that a shot and then report back.

Prior to installing these cars, did your lights work fine?
Yeah, they were just dim.

Sorry about that. Where was the topic moved to?

I tried it with the other package (not needed for ELS) but the lights were still dim. I will try it again (sigh).

Hey there,
Just to clarify, Captain14's pack is not an ELS pack.
For your lights, pause the game and go to GTA's settings. Make sure PostFX and Shader Quality are on high or above.
I should have included that. Yes, I set both of those settings in the graphics. Plus yes, I installed both packages to see if either type would work and it still didn't.

I have downloaded the following packages:
-
LSPD Pack [ELS] 4.0 (thegreatah)
-
LSPD Pack - *NEW* 2013 FPIS, 2013/2016 Explorer, 2015 Charger, 2016 Impala, 2013 Tahoe, 2011 CVPI - ELS Style Lighting (Non ELS) 2.0.0 (theCaptain14)
But the lights are default dim. I'm not sure what else to do. I used the OpenIV to install the models to the correct folders and the XML files to the correct folders. But neither one displays bright lights. Not sure what I'm missing. The packages are simple mods. All my other mods work fine for LCPDFR.
I have set both both Shader and PostFX to their highest settings and neither package work (ELS and non-ELS)

Just ride out the mission. Lose the cops, and do whatever else the game tells you, which may be to drive someone somewhere. I don't recall. You will be put in free roam once the prologue is over.
Tried that but to no avail. Used another means, I'm past it now. So anxiously awaiting to play the Mod.

I have seen two videos but they seem a little outdated. I have downloaded both Gears and Script Hook files - unzipped them to my GTAV folder. But it doesn't work. The drivers are installed and the wheel is recognized by Windows.

At what point is this mission over?
Now I have to drive a car and lose the cops.... does anyone know when the mission/prologue is over?!?!?On 6/26/2017 at 0:05 PM, kanejr00 said:You have to be in free roam.

Just finish the mission or download a savegame with a finished game somewhere.
As soon as the mission's over, you'll be free to roam and play lspdfr. Is it a long mission?

I installed the Mod. When I launch the game, I go into the console and go On Duty. But then the hostage scene continues to play out. I don't get to stop and head to the station. I tried to teleport but it automatically gives me a Mission Fail. It seems that I am stuck in this hostage incident and can't go anywhere to act like I am an officer who is on duty.
Any insight?

I'm new to LCPDFR and GTA V. I just purchased GTA a couple of days ago but then heard the news about the Cease/Desist order.
Where are we now?
I've checked many video tutorials online on installing the Mod but the online tutorials seem outdated.
