  1. Two videos are not proof that the UK doesn't need all officers to be equipped and on the first video they didn't actually use a tazer, the mere threat of one got the guy to give up. I think you're overestimating how many guns are in the UK, yes - there is a problem in some parts of the country concerning illegal firearms but weapons are not as widespread and easily accessible as they are in America, knife crime is actually one of the biggest culprits over here at the moment. We do have permantly armed officers like the ones you've posted in areas such as airports and Government buildings and each force will have a number of trained firearms officers throughout their jurisdiction that can respond at a moments notice (Armed officers responded to and dealt with the London Bridge attack within minutes https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2017/jun/04/police-praised-for-stopping-london-bridge-attack-in-eight-minutes) . The need is just not there at the moment to arm every officer, not to mention the UK Government keeps cutting back on the police, reducing their numbers - there's no way they could afford basic handguns at the moment "Armed officers open fire rarely. In the eight years to March 2016 police discharged their guns during just 40 incidents. Since 1990, 67 people have been killed in police shootings in England and Wales." - https://www.economist.com/britain/2017/06/29/is-it-time-for-britains-unarmed-police-to-be-given-guns One day in the future, yes we may need to follow in the footsteps of the US and other countries, but for now it is not necessary - to act as if producing a gun will solve anything is nonsense, it would not have stopped this attack as this guy was a traffic warden - they are not police officers.
  2. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour. Traffic wardens get a lot of grief over here (normally by people who've got reason to be given a ticket). Thankfully, they've caught one of them so far but investigations are ongoing to catch the rest https://www.west-midlands.police.uk/news/6555/police-release-images-after-violent-robbery-traffic-warden-alum-rock As for issuing police with weapons for self defence, at least guns, I'd say no. Numerous arrests and situations are dealt with on a daily basis without the use of a gun, police in the UK use a variety of tactics and non-lethal approaches to deal with suspects such as tazers and pepper spray - my go to video is this great example of capturing someone from a few years ago: and also:

    New to LSPDFR HELP

I think it would struggle to run the base game, if at all, let alone LSPDFR. The main issue being the graphics card will not be strong enough. Have a check on this site to be sure, have used it myself many times over the years https://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/requirements/grand-theft-auto-v/12455

    PC Recommendations?

I got my PC from these guys a few years ago and it's still going strong with the exception of a recent GPU upgrade, they do ship to america too https://www.overclockers.co.uk/ Basically, pick a system you like the look / price of and then you can change every part as it'll give options for everything that is compatible. I'm sure there's sites in the US that'll do this too, just another option to look into

    main character employment.

Again still not a good idea as if you were to load a save game it will originally be looking for the models of Michael, Trevor or Franklin and will crash when it can't find them as you'd saved with a custom model. I could be wrong of course, but this used to happen back in GTA IV if you saved after using the LCPDFR mod.

    main character employment.

As far as I'm aware, there's no possible way to do what you're describing as it's generally advised to not save the game once you've been on duty. Closest thing you can do is Michael actually has a LSPD outfit he can wear, I believe it might be available in the closet but if not it can be found in simple native trainer. There are some life mods out there but I'm unsure on their compatibility with LSDPFR.

what would be a good computer to run lspdfr

Going to need more information on the PC, possibly even a link to fully help you. But going from what you posted, no. 4gb RAM is the bare minimum required to run the base game, adding LSPDFR onto that as well will cause for some horrid performance. Furthermore, has the PC even got a GPU?

    New and yeah

You should be fine with those specs
  11. Seriously cannot wait for this pack!

    Any model ideas?

Some accurate NYPD cars would look pretty awesome if you could pull them off! Especially with the upcoming Liberty City in V mod by the OpenIV team.

    Help: GTA V immersion mods

Although not specifically what you asked for, on the texture side of things I really like LA Roads alongside a visual enhancement such as VisualV; https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/l-a-roads-oiv-open-iv-package-installer Gives the game a more realistic look

  15. The updated version of Computer+ is fantastic with this for its new traffic citations and arrest reports! makes traffic stops last a realistic time instead of being done in 30 secs!
