  1. This is my current build, no guarantees it'll fit for you. https://www.dropbox.com/s/rp1cklw20cnj6qj/gameconfig.xml?dl=0 Happy to help you try it though
  2. Yeah that's the first thing that everyone tries, including myself. When it comes to memory allocation, sometimes a plugin just requests too much at a specified interval. So whether you have 10 extra plugins or none, it's not stopping Computer+ from requesting a shit load of space when the Ped or Vehicle Databases are opened. The easy solution is to disable Computer+ and just use the LSPDFR+ computer lite which is quite intuitive, the difference being it runs on a NativeUI menu instead of a custom computer user interface. You can still hand out tickets and make arrest reports. The right solution (which takes gobs of time) is to go back to my comment and do what I said originally, dig into the gameconfig yourself and adjust memory allocations. Try to change the values for buildings, pedestrians and traffic SO LOW that the game is barely playable, then test your computer+. If it works, as it should if you have a decent CPU, then go back and increase the values for the aforementioned categories until it is more playable, and still stable. If you don't have the patience to learn how to edit your memory allocations, I'm afraid any large plugin is going to crash you. That's just how it works. Upgrade your CPU or wait until the plugin is refined and smaller. For the rest of us though, the computer is stable and almost never crashes, which is a testament to how stable to plugin can be. P.S. Try to disable all other plugins if you haven't already. Some, like Unit 21 referenced, aren't inside your your plugins>lspdfr folder. They can be inside your main directory, inside lspdfr>audio, or inside the main plugins folder. LSPersistenceD5, ELS, EUP, RageShowMyLocation, and Search Warrant all come to mind. More than likely still wont fix your problem, but you never know and it's a quick thing to cross off. Worked for Unit21
  3. 1. You dont need the Police Scanner folder anymore, it is outdated. Everything has been moved to audio>scanner. So drag and drop your Police Scanner contents into the scanner folder then delete the Police Scanner folder. Otherwise I'm not sure if your moreradiochatter is even working. I have it in the aforementioned directory and can confirm it works. 2. Just a question, why are you running arrest manager and Stop The Ped? STP has just about every single feature already implemented in arrest manger, from vocal dispatch to assigning seperate police transport for multiple arrestees. I'm just curious as to why you're forfeiting some memory allocation as well as free keyboard keys. Is it so you can call a taxi for a pedestrian? lmao thats the only benefit to arrest manager I can think of. 3. Looks good, no comment
  4. I know my post implied that I disabled LSPDR5, but I actually still play with it. If I stopped/arrested the ped with STP, I take caution not to put them in my vehicle whatsoever, opting for filing paperwork while they are out front of the takedowns, then just requesting prisoner transport (which works fine still). There's no way you can play LSPDFR without persistence so I hope this gets a patch soon to allow us the freedoms we are used to! P.S If you can refrain from using STP for arrests and instead just using the default hold E takedown and hold Q cuffing, it will probably not conflict. Still though, a hassle.
  5. Start here. Download these files to the correct directories https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/heap-limit-adjuster-600-mb-of-heap https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/packfile-limit-adjuster Then test. If you are still crashing, continue on. Download this : https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/openiv The basic modding tool which you can use to edit your gameconfig.xml Once in OpenIV, hit LControl+F3 and search for "gameconfig.xml" Either 1 or 2 options will pop up. To decide which one needs to be edited, simply check both of their directories and choose the one that's within an update, not the one that's in the original GTAV folder. The game will always prioritize the latest update file, whether that's for modding cars, sounds, visuals, etc. Once you open the gameconfig.xml you are going to be adjusting memory allocations for certain aspects of your game. Want more traffic? Increase the allocation for that and decrease allocation for plugins, building textures, etc. and vice versa. Taking the time to manually edit your gameconfig.xml is by far the best way to get GTAV running properly without crashes because every PC build is different, yet GTAV only has 1 config for the millions of PC's that have ran it. If you need a reference gameconfig.xml, or do not want to go through the hassle of editing and experimenting yourself, just go here https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/gta-5-gameconfig-300-cars/download/61999 and install the gameconfig for 0,1x traffic, 0,1x peds then test your game for Computer+. If interested, you can learn how to manually increase/decrease traffic&peds using this guide https://gtaforums.com/topic/907091-improved-traffic-densities-the-most-comprehensive-tutorial-yet/ If you truly want to fix your game, it's going to take some time and dedication, as there's not really a simple fix if you want to run mods that the game developers did not implement into the game themselves. I can tell you that I have spent quite a lot of hours just going through the config myself and "configuring" the game to my liking. Every now and again, I'll crash sure, but what can you expect when your running 10+ plugins. Sometimes I'm forced to disable plugins that request too much space, like Tacco Highway Callouts, which is by far one of the largest callout packs you can have due to their intricacy and added buttons to the radio. Just open your plugins/lspdfr folder and sort by size then decide whats necessary and whats not. Computer+ should be your largest IMO, unless you are running an I7 4970k or something. Good luck! 6. I too can confirm that LSPersistenceD5 conflicts with STOP THE PED. If an arrest is made using that plugin, the state of the PED foregoing is very buggy. The main example is what IrfanPlayz is referring to, where an arrested ped is put that's in the back of your police cruiser using STP NativeUI menu's will jump out as if they aren't cuffed as soon as you get into the driver's seat. The ped will then either sprint away or even more likely, attempt to steal your vehicle. Occurrences like this seem to happen most frequently when the Ped is a bit more hostile, usually after callouts rather than a random traffic stop. I've even gotten to the point where almost every single Ped was jumping out from my vehicle (like close to 80%). Oddly enough, the Ped seems to only be able to jump out once, after that they tend to remain in the vehicle. By disabling LSPersistenceD5, the problem goes away entirely and cuffed peds using STOP THE PED act as they should, not being able to jump back out and all. If I had to guess, it's something to do with the state of the ped being written by LSPD5 and then altered by STP but not properly communicated back to LSPD5.
  7. So after spending the last week getting back into LSPDFR, I finally had everything working damn near perfectly. Computer+ gave me a bit of trouble at first with the crashes and such but I persevered and fixed it by editing memory allocations in my gameconfig.xml. This blissful stage of complete serenity and cooperation between plugins only lasted a few hours before a new problem sprang up, an interesting one too, as depicted in the photo. As there is no native integration for user interface to be modified by the user, there's not an option to resize the script's box, it's size and apparently its transparency... all we get is font size. The photo depicts my login screen where you sign in. This same concept of having no background is present in every scene of the script's actions. I do not know where the conflict is, so I resorted to moving every single inessential mod/script/asi/dll to no avail. I've combed my in game graphics menu, done fresh installs of the required hooks and the mod itself, but still, to no avail. I've spent the last hour or so scrolling through 30+ pages of comments from people who don't know how to listen to instructions and complain about crashes because it's obviously anyone's fault but there own. The only reference to my same problem on the front face of the internet is about 20 pages back where someone uploaded a triple screenshot of what it looks like to disable the background entirely and just have tiny floating text amidst a sea of contrast. If this was just about any other plugin, I'd write it off and just patrol without it. Any help or suggestions as to what could cause an interference to the UI to this extent would be much appreciated. Again, the script functions as it should, it does not crash or throw any errors into the logs, its just a matter of a "ghost" box. I can help the youngins above and below me with their memory crashes if that's any consolation. LOVE THE PLUGIN, can't imagine doing more than 1 or 2 patrols without having this bad boy in my arsenal. JakoMacro FIXED: Fixed by doing a manual installation of the latest RagePlugin Hook. The problem seemed to have stemmed from an outdated f1 Font Wrapper or possibly the default.png image. I can't believe I didnt think of this when i was skimming over my GTAV directory.... If anyone needs help with memory crashes, just quote this comment. I can help rebuild gameconfig.XML's.
