It's not ELS, it the model. I'm guessing. The car looks to much the one from this video, and it uses the vanilla lights

It's lighting has been reworked since this video, but yes.

Oh, was that it? I'm sorry -- let me correct the description on LVMPDFANs behalf...

    "DROT-style" lighting equipment...

    =]

    I think we're done here.

All I am saying is, if I compare something's likeness to *Insert here* that is well known I would give credit to that *insert here* for me having based/compared that idea/likeness on *insert here*.

People credit Steve Jobs for the creation of Apple, yet some know that Wozniak is the mastermind behind it. Same scenario. Implementation =/= creation or originality.

Right but the comparison is being made to "DROT" which is specifically known from "ELS".

Doesn't matter though, I clearly was in the wrong for even saying anything in the first place and accept that.

I'd love to know who the original creator of the idea is according to you? I came up with the idea and publicly posted it here back in 2012, has anyone ever credited me for that idea? Nope. Not like I care though, but you chose to raise the question.

Right but it's specifically being compared to DROT.

Who would that be, though? Apparently a few people had this same idea years before DROT was added to ELS.

I would assume the person Lt. Caine accredited in the ELS Documentation. Would make sense since the comparison being made is to ELS "DROT".

Then what is it you are doing right now? Default models might have spinning rotators, yet they used coronas and definitely no emissive parts. It's the same technique that used to be called DROT in ELS. It works exactly the same way, you just don't need external scripts anymore. Why would it be wrong to compare it?

Guess it wouldn't; either way excited to see this in action. Wonder if credit will be given to the original creator of the idea.

I honestly didn't see the difference until @Cj24 explained it just now and it clicked. Sorry for the ignorance lads; I should try and focus on debates on things I am more knowledgeable about.

You know, I figured you'd of all people would understand the point. It is not default, default uses coronas and you know this -- this is a different method. It is compared to DROT because DROT uses the exact same principle. I don't see why this is hard to understand for you, most people know this is how it was done in IV, and this, in essence, is the same thing.

Are you saying that the default GTA method does not include spinning rotators?
