Please help! It has gotten down to this. I'm using ELS Version 8.51 on LCPDFR. They work perfectly fine for me, but when I look at AI police cars, and my friends police cars, they stay on. I have done almost everything possible and it still won't fix! I have tried reinstalling the game, steam, and my modded GTA directory. I have also tried reinstalling our modded pack, then ELS as well. Thank you.

Post a picture of your INI please.

  2. I remember waking up and smelling that awful air that the dust carried over everywhere. I can't seem to forget standing in my living room in Brooklyn and watching from the windows, it is so vivid a memory especially for a five year old.

I also remember even more vividly walking at ground zero days after with my dad carrying me.  This day, to me, defines a lot of why I wanted to become a police officer.

I think it would be smart for the ELS team to include some of the more popular vehicle modders on this site like BlackJesus, Windows446, PimDSLR,Thehurk, etc. into the testing team so they can begin to make models for the community, that way when ELS is released we don't just have one or two of BxBugs' vehicles to use.

    Just a thought.

Or, or, or!!! We can use the same system of extras for the models that originated with ELS IV that way the "vehicle modders" can begin this process as we speak!

    Oh, wait....

Anyone else tired of everyone telling people to wait and that ELS V WILL BE the best GTA V mod? From the looks of it it has been in development for almost a year! Just saying its kinda annoying leaving the community in the dark about this ELS project.

In the dark? 6 videos alone on the first post showcasing features and development.

  5. I just want to squash all the "when will it be released", "It's never gonna come out" and "It will be coming soon" comments.

Currently there is NO, absolutely NO, set release date.  ELS is not done being worked on, it's framework is not yet where it needs to be.  All demonstrations and updates are simply that, demonstrations and updates.

ELS could come out tomorrow it could come out 3 months from now WE DON'T KNOW.  Please be patient as the development of such a mod takes time and resources.  We are not purposely withholding the modification to tease or be selfish, the fact of the matter is, WHEN ITS DONE ITS DONE.

With this being said, I want to thank ALL of you, the members of the community, on your continued support and patience during the development. We do this for you; seriously.

Someone raised this in the CHP pack comment section and I thought it was a pretty good question

As you know with the default cars the rear lights flash and theres currently no was to stop it from doing so. Any vehicle, even if civilian that you place over a police slot will also have its rear lights flash. Will ELS get rid of that system if you didn't want the rear lights to flash?

    Yes.

  7. Let's try and maintain respect for the fallen officers this morning. As the death-toll reaches 5, I implore all of you to refrain from any hateful comments whilst these losses are so fresh.  It is clear the peaceful protest was not the issue and that these individuals had planned this attack long before the recent shootings of the past 48 hours.

If anything, that proves that there's too many guns being distributed to the populace, who is clearly incapable of owning that many firearms.

So if my gun gets stolen it's my fault?

If I get raped it's my fault?

because you like guns and don't even want to talk about gun control.

I don't like guns! I hate the idea of having to own a gun. I hate the fact that my wife at any given moment can be taken by a criminal so she has to carry a firearm. Unfortunately, life is very real and dangerous so we choose to arm ourselves rather than rely on law enforcement. Its a CHOICE and a constitutional right.

Don't bother with a reply. Clearly you love having dogmatic conversations on forums to fulfill your ego. Go join an anti-gun club and try and change the laws if you feel so strongly about them but I am done wasting my time on you. Thankfully the majority of Americans love guns and the 2nd amendment so they're not going anywhere anytime soon (i.e ever).

Which is incredibly difficult, especially compared to how easy it is to drive across state lines with a trunk full of guns. Its impossible to completely eliminate the possibility of smuggling, no matter how good a country's border security is. But products become more expensive as it gets harder and harder to smuggle them. Its not inconceivable that many criminals simply wouldn't be able to afford the few guns that are being smuggled in.

We don't expect 100% effectiveness from any other program. but yet for some reason, that standard is applied to gun control by conservatives. We've let you turn the conversation into "well if it doesn't take EVERY gun out of the hands of criminals, then its not worth doing ANY gun control." That's preposterous, and completely counter-intuitive. It is absolutely true that with effective legislation, we could drastically reduce the numbers of guns that end up in the hands of criminals. And that's pushed back against because of ideology and lies that have been distributed by the very people that make billions in the gun industry. Its asinine and grossly corrupt.

And I'm surprised that in a law enforcement-centered community, there are so many people that want to do nothing to ensure that police officers encounter less armed criminals. Blows my mind.

Incredibly difficult but not impossible. However what will be impossible would be for LAW-ABIDING citizens to arm themselves if that was to be reality.

Criminals will ALWAYS find a way to get their hands on guns. NO LAW WILL PREVENT THIS!

Cops aren't perfect I would rather civilians arm themselves and be PROACTIVE in preventing crime rather than expecting officers to always put their lives on the line for their sake. (I am thinking about officers lives and safety)

The only person, worth protecting you, should first and foremost be yourself.
