Anyone know a potential fix for this issue?
You use 3DS Max right @snit?
Whenever I attempt to start the screen flashes for a second and then dissapears.
Could be any number of issues. Make sure your drivers are up to date, to your PC meets the system requirements for Max and if that doesn't work, google it.

Mainly towards people like Macgregor, MooseYTY and Snit.
Is it possible to use Autodesk to create GTA V models?
What's the process of getting a model?
I use 3DS Max, you'll still need to import to Zmod3 for conversion to GTA though. There's a BA Ford Falcon in the Download section that's unlocked, you can use that.

Oh really? I thought they were closer to the VICPol uniforms, like a very dark navy blue.
That makes life easier. Is NT the same?
SAPOL, VicPol and NTPol all use a very dark blue that boarders on black, I think it's the same shade of dark blue the NYPD use. If you check out those SAPOL images from before, you can barely tell they're blue.

Found the samples from the old LTS website before FireTrader bought them. Feel free to do whatever you want with them!
Also having a little bit more luck with the SAPol uniforms. Discovered that one of the UK packs have the badges removed from the default shirts which is pretty cool. Unfortunately it also removes the gun... but either way, I'll work it out!
The Default GTA V cop uniforms are actually the right colour so you could use that as the basis. I'll see about removing the badge in zmod over the coming weekend.

Thanks for the epaulette. SAPol uniform pics are hard to find, hah.
Removing either badge(/nameplate) leaves the shape of it there but happy to remove them anyway.
Any particular numbers you want on the epaulettes?
These dudes generally have good pics of SAPOL

Something interesting about SAPOL is that only members of certain special branches (STAR group, major crash, motorbike traffic officers) can wear the baseball caps, the rest must wear the standard cap. Load bearing vest are now becoming more common and are warn at the discretion of the individual officer.
If you need more pics, PM me.

First 'draft'. Colour needs to be darker, patches need a little bit of resizing, may need to move the 'police' patch on the right down to the pocket because of the badge... and don't mind the NSW Name plate... not bad for an hours work this morning. ;)
Nuke the badge on the shirt, just put the 'POLICE' on the actual badge also the epaulettes are black with a thin white chevron and the officers serial number. I did have some SAPOL uniforms I made (they weren't great) but I lost the files.

But there aren't any SAPol vehicles to use it with! *cough* =P
I'll try get them done over the weekend - SAPol and NT are the only two I haven't even touched. o_o
But when they come, they will com in force ;)

Released/updated my NSW uniforms so they're now compatible with the new EUP. Includes male and female sheriff and cop uniforms and EUP ones. General duties only for now, will add the specialist stuff in when I get around to it. Actually, I really don't know, I may've left it in. I just copied stuff out of my files from OpenIV so it could be a gamble what you get but there's definitely NSW shirts for everyone. Traffic vest is definitely there as well, rain coat may or may not be... if it is, it hasn't been updated; the shirts about as close to perfect as I'll get them I think.
I'll get Victorian ones up within a day or two of those sexy Victorian cars Mac posted pics of coming out. Other states over the next week or two or as vehicles appropriate to the state come out. ;)
*cough*SAPOL*cough*

The method used for setting up ELS will be just like IV along with support of the V defaulting lighting system, from a "modeler" standpoint ELS takes less time & work to setup compared to the default V police lighting system.
This. The default system is a pain in the ass when you're doing certain setups, ELS is much easier and consistent.

just wait for the price of the course its costing me $24000 to get my diploma in interactive and graphic design (3d Modeling)
I'd rather not think about the debt my honours degree has amounted to, thankfully my PhD will be paid for in full by the govt under the RTS.

I actually got contacted by the marketing manager and mechanical engineer about that. Googled their names and their linked in's looked legit to me. Now I'm just waiting for the job offer so I can quit my piss ass current job

GG man. 3D modelling as a career wouldn't be bad.

Get fucked. Code 3 pacific just posted Macs video of his pursuit bar, I'm starting to question if it's a legit page.

2018 Police Commodore (Vicpol). Not going to lie, looks pretty good.
I could live with that.
side note on what was being talk about before, I'm pretty sure that US Special Agents are required to have 3 years of uni/college. AFP doesn't require that for FAs.

"Slap a UI and Menu on it" was a term used very loosely, lmao.
I'm not a complete jerk, I know these things take a lot of time and effort. I am actually gonna admit, genuinely surprised it's been this long. Although, I'm not sure how long after release ELS IV came out, so maybe this is the normal time frame for that kinda mod, not sure, wasn't around on PC for GTA IV.When ELS for IV came out it was really basic and featureless so it took a short time to develop, it's a different beast now.

I missed that bit, but in a nut shell that basically is ELS, haha. Slap a UI and a menu on the ability to change the flash pattern it's literally the same.
I'm pretty salty that it's been "coming soon" for over a year now, and the last teaser was about 4-6 months ago which showed the mod fully working (and I think with no door bug either)
just feels like one big g up
Software development is complicated, just because something works in a particular use case, doesn't necessarily mean it's ready for release. In terms of the RPH's ability to hook the in-game sirens, I looked into it and it's a little more complicated than slapping on a UI and some patterns (not that those are easy tasks).
TL;DR Programming can be difficult and time consuming, things like ELS or LSPDFR have the added challenge of being hobby projects of others so they'll take a fair amount of time.

hmm the lighting works fine on the updated falcon which uses setting 70, but even when I try siren setting 70 on the VF the light bars fine but still nothing from the indicators/reverse lights...
Sure you're using the right version of the VF? From memory moose updated it a few time.

I was referring to carvars, that's an odd issue.

Still can't figure out why the reverse & indicator lights don't flash on the marked VF commodore when emergency lights are active.... have reinstalled both flash patterns and the vehicle twice. GRRRH haha.
Make sure it's set to the right siren setting in the vehicles file. Mac Aust flash patterns doesn't use siren setting 12.

CIB? What's that
Criminal Investigation Branch, they are located at each major station and investigate all crime that doesn't fall under a specialist branch (Major Crime etc) in which case they'll assist that branch in their investigation.
