  1. Would love to see a Tahoe updated in here, especially since Paleto Bay is in a mountain-y area. I used to have this installed, and it's still my favorite livery that I've seen for Paleto, but I got all ELS cars when it came out and that was the end of that lol

    C+ is quite simple in the open handler. We check if the person is in a vehicle and whether RPH has the vehicle loaded with the "HasSirens" set to true. We then ignore known in game model hashes for stock ambulance and firetruck  and ensure the vehicle is not moving before we trigger allowing the computer to open. 

     

    In order to test it I'd need you to zip up your plugins folder so I can specifically test your setup.. However I have a ton a backlogged shit to do so I may not get around to it any time soon

     

    As you'll see below, our check whether it's a police vehicle is quite simple

    Where would I find the RPH .log file? The Logs folder is in the main directory but the log itself isn't in the folder

    The DOB goes by the culture settings in windows. Check your locale settings in windows for dob. That's what I use to validate the dob

     

    I can't seem to get it to work with my add-ons. I use RDE but I also have smaller departments set up with Albo's Modding DLC and LEJS. The departments with RDE are fine, but the add-on departments don't work. I created custom backgrounds and added them into the INI file in the same format as the others are, but still nothing. It's really bumming me out not being able to use C+ on them

    So C+ won't work in addon vehicles, even if everything else about them is squared away?

    I'm also having the DOB problem as well. And for some strange reason, whenever I'm out on a traffic stop and in C+ for an extended period of time, there is inevitably a random car that drives by and explodes directly next to me, often killing me and always ruining the stop. I'm not sure if it's a problem with C+ or not but it only seems to happen with that open.

  6. @Nutt I tried using SirensActive for the vehicle, and the lights still wouldn't work. I tried spawning the peds inside the vehicle, and still nothing. I even put in an activation boundary and a patrol area size, and the lights still refuse to come on unless I go into the car myself and activate the LSTGs manually. I don't know what else I can do. Any thoughts as to why this may be happening?

    I'm not talking like a steady burn, I want it to be like normal stage 2 or 3 lighting and have the car spawn in while on that light stage. My apologies for not clarifying

  9. Is there a way to set an xml file up so that a car will always have its lights on? Long story short, I'm attempting to do a tribute car and would like to have the lights automatically be on when the car spawns, instead of me having to manually turn them on every time. I would love to know if anybody knows how to do this, or whether it's even possible. Thanks all.

    Life turned for the worse a few weeks after I released this. And it's slowed me down way to much in real life. So I took it up to my priority  to get my life straight and in order. 

    With that being said, I haven't done anything. I have been working and just trying at life. I honestly don't have a great gaming computer anymore or anything that is good enough besides a phone. 

     

    While I'm saddened to hear that progress on this has stopped for the foreseeable future, I'm very happy to hear that you have your priorities straight and that you're focusing on yourself. Hopefully things pick up for you quickly. All the best to you.

Idk how much help this will be to people who have a complicated setup filled with custom vehicles and such, but for those of you who are either rebuilding or starting new with ELS, download Albo's Custom Modding DLC. Basically, it lets you put everything in one location instead of figuring out patchdays and readmes and things like that. It's very simple and will save you a ton of stress. Quite possibly might get ELS working again for some of you. I've used it and I've never had any problems with ELS.

    For those of you who are having trouble with having absolutely zero lights at all, go to OIV>Tools and uninstall the ASI manager, then re-install it and reload GTA. That fixed it for me.

  12. So I downloaded this and just did a livery for it, with a focus on the front license plate. I put the plates in the correct spot on Officer Underwood's template but when I view the model in OpenIV, the exempt plates return and I doubt that they would remain hidden if I were to launch it in-game. What can I do to fix this?

  13. Any chance of this vehicle having a marked version?

    It's exactly what I'm looking for but it needs liveries on it for me to use it for what my purposes require. If I may make a suggestion, it would likely save you time to have all your vehicles support liveries, but just have plain color liveries or a blank texture to make it unmarked if people want it as an unmarked vehicle. That way you only have to make one vehicle for both crowds. Just a suggestion :)
