I reinstalled your textures and used this like you said:
[sheriff3]
Gender=Male
Hat=11:1
Glasses=24:1
Ear=1:1
Watch=6:1
Mask=1:1
Top=53:2
UpperSkin=2:1
Decal=1:1
UnderCoat=38:1
Pants=50:1
Shoes=25:1
Accessories=2:1
Armor=28:1
Parachute=1:1
and these are my results, that shirt can be changed between 4 options when I go into the trainer and neither of them are the black long sleeve sheriff shirt.
I'll go a step further and say a lot of folks, including myself sometimes won't even touch a vehicle texture unless the models it's designed for are clearly stated and linked. I don't have time to dig around the hundreds of models around here looking for the correct one :)
I would but when considering performance I find it hard to justify installing an entire API (Darkmyres API) just for the ability to search for items when I can achieve the same thing with Police Search. If I was using other Darkmyre mods then I could justify loading that extra API, but for performance sake, it's just not worth it.
I still don't get it. so we can only install one of the included .xml files? So it's not adding items, it's replacing items right? Because to "add" items we'd have to keep the default xml file there and search warrant only allows one xml file (default.xml), so how do we install all these?
Don't really need filters for bright lights like that. Just use RadianceV or if you're familiar with how to modify visualsettings file then modify the car.default.emissive.day.on and car.default.emissive.night.on values and crank them up, like 1500 or so.
@dead2self89 not sure if you meant to tag me in that reply or not because you tagged my name and then mentioned an entirely different problem than I am having. Nothing crashes for me, I just can't properly use marksmanpistol in the car.
A few issues with the new update. First you didn't include an ELS(VCF) file for the all-blue setup. Not a big deal if you know how to edit that file, but it would still be nice, and also it's no longer emitting any light forward, only behind the car.
The back lights seem awfully dull and the ambers seem yellow while the blues seem super baby blue, and they don't emit any light. I use NVR + VisualV + RadianceV with a very cranked up value, so it's not my settings.
But otherwise a really nice model. My game uses an LAPD/LASD/CHP theme so it's a nice addition. Just wish the lights were a bit better.
As someone who themes their game with real world (non lore-friendly) California agencies, this is a very welcomed addition to my fleet. I use LAPD, LASD, and CHP, so this fits in nice. But as others have said, the lighting needs some work. I'm not sure what it is but the back window lights don't seem very emissive and the amber lights seem almost yellow while the blue lights are very baby blueish. I'll update to 5 stars if you can work out and improve the lights!
That's fantastic, but doesn't really answer my question :(
your screenshots show a blue hoodie with white sheriff text. I only have a black t shirt and a black sweatshirt
Is there only supposed to be the 2 shirt options? long sleeve sweatshirt and short sleeve shirt? Your screenshots show a blue one and a white tee shirt also.
It would be extremely helpful if you provided a link or at least mentioned which cars / pack these fit on best. They look good but I'm not gonna spend hours trying to figure out which models they work on and don't work on.
The EUP addition is a great addition. Well done sir. Though I've only found the short sleeve sheriff shirt and the sheriff vest. Could you tell us where to find each of the EUP items you're adding so I know what to look for? What numbers each items falls under in the EUP menu?
Actually it was updated. He added the ability to use the radar gun while inside the vehicle, and made it so it works properly.
He does this for our enjoyment and doesn't expect anything in return. How dare you try to dictate how he operates. He owes you nothing. For the majority of us, we welcome these smaller updates and changes as development progresses. I say give us as many updates as he can, it only makes things better.
We've had a lot of Tahoes lately and that's fine because Tahoes are awesome, but this Suburban was refreshing. I love lights, and lots of them, so it's no surprise that I had to check this out. However, I was NOT prepared.......
Upon hitting stage 3 lighting at midnight with Radiance V, my retinas were instantly fried, and I didn't even care. For the millisecond before my eyes were completely fried by the light, I was in complete police light bliss!
10/10 Would fry my eyeballs again.
