At the moment, we are specifically in need of a few texture artists to make release skins for our car modders. Please P.M. me if interested.

First off, my PC Specs.
CPU: Intel i5 750 @ 2.67 GHz (4 CPUs)
GPU: Radeon 7850 HD w/ 2GB video memory
Ram: 12 GB
So my question is, what is the best ENB for ELS that I can run about 40-50 frames.
I currently am trying to use Murphy's Modern IV 2105 ENB, and it looks great, always runs between 45-52 FPS, but the ELS doens't look the best, I want the bloom to be just a bit bigger. So maybe help me just edit the bloom instead?
Much appreciated.

If something is white, and it shouldn't be, then you are missing the texture in your .wtd.
If ELS is not moving, and it should be, you have named it wrong in the hierarchy, or you haven't setup the .ini file correctly, or ELS is off etc.

I have made a 2013 FPIU with RoegonTV's Integrity (Awesome work, this isn't a problem with the model itself i don't think) But when i get in game the lightbar is very dim like when older ELS you would leave the car and it would turn off and it would still be flashing but theres no emission really. The other lights work fine and light up as they should. I can provide hierarchy if needed, but do not see a problem in it.
ThanksIt actually is kind of my fault. I left the extras assigned to a non-emissive material when I released it. Just select all the lights on the Integrity, and reassign them to the lightsemissive material.

As many of you know, I am the Founder of Breaking Bad Studios, a small modding community that is dedicated to releasing only high quality models to the public.
What is Breaking Bad Studios? We aren't many in numbers, and strive to bring the best out of our members. If you are a talented modder, modeler, skinner, or coder (scripter), then BBS is the place for you. We keep our group clean, and respectable, out of respect for other people. This means it is not tolerated for members to troll, or spam other sites or users. We would love to have many more members, and hope you guys want to join us!

We are now accepting applications for membership to BBS, and encourage any modder, modeler, skinner, or coder to apply to the group. If we are impressed with your application, you will be given further instructions. If you are interested, send me a message and I will get back to you as soon as I can!

Really is beautiful. Volkswagens aren't even that attractive to me, but this render looks so good.

Are you sure your vehicles.img is in your Grand Theft Auto IV/pc/models/cdimages folder?

Stunningly beautiful!

I run IV at 53 FPS so I hope when I get V that I can run 60 <3

Rockstar made an announcement that they will be banning people from multilayer who cause the gameplay to be less enjoyable. So I assume that means they know modding will happen but as long as it's not detrimental or unfair it's okay? So obviously a trainer god mode would get you kicked/banned.

You'll probably see vehicle modifications and the like a lot sooner than script modifications.
Yeah from what I've read, which isn't a lot :P, everything is in RPF, which spark IV can handle, and I think OpenIV can also, but they are working to improve it.
I would relate RPFs to IMGs. Once we get a solid OpenIV update to crack into RPFs, we will still need to find the vehicle extensions. Which I really hope they kept .wft and .wtd!

I am in need of a texture artist. I basically just want someone who enjoys skinning and is willing to make me some for my releases. My only requirement is that the person has Skype, and is very active. Active as in, if I needed a skin done for 2-3 cars, it could be done in 1-2 days. If anyone is interested please feel free to private message me.

Except the people who can't run GTA 5. Like me. So instead of being excited about the PC Version, I was excited about the new LCPDFR.com and looks good! I like it! Once everything's completely finished it will look better.
I don't know how I will run it, but Rockstar tells me that when I get it I should be able to run it 60 FPS at 1080p (I run GTA-IV at 52 FPS 1080p), and my computer is not amazing. I think it will run well like any other new game (BF3, Arma3, etc.). GTA-IV was just so poorly ported that people assume GTA-V will run bad and slow. Just give it a try, they might have done it right this time.

I don't have a copy of the PC version or i would snoop around the files. As soon as modders like myself and Doppler can get our hands inside a directory and find out what files they use, the closer we get to modding. I have heard rumors that the models may be in .wft and .wtd again. MAYBE. That would be extremely useful as we would not need new export and import filters for zmodeler.
The biggest issue will be finding a program that can handle the file types for the cars, or waiting on Oleg to release the filters so that we can use Zmodeler. After we can import and export cars, modders just have to take the time to analyze how they're setup and then we're golden.

I think a new leaf is good. It was time for a change, and convenient that the transition happened when GTAV came out (Everybody is too busy gaming to be bothered by LCPDFR being down for a bit). Hopefully this new leaf can be a good stepping stone to new stuff, to better functionality. I like the new theme, and IPB, it looks good!

So could we maybe not give Roegon a seizure whilst I try to turn my head sideways to type this? xD

I am in need of a dedicated texture artist.
Please feel free to P.M. or contact me on Skype at breakingbadstudios.

5, for queen and country

No, I am not.
I have this ability to ruin almost every friendship of mine, even those in the gta community.
There are many things I wish I could change, but it is just who I am.

The issue with the boat you linked to, was that the lights were not emissive. They were physical meshes, but lacked the emissiveness of normal ELS. For some reason, it is hard-coded into GTA that materials are not allowed to become emissive when over a large body of declared water. Even sometimes driving through tunnels that go over water, the ELS loses its emissiveness. While the ambient and environmental lighting work for the els, because that is dictated by the .ini, that game will not allow for emissive lights over water.

Merry Christmas Nate. I am very glad I got to be a part of this community while you were still active. I hope to see you 'round. Have a happy New Year.

Are you sure?
"Earlier this year, the LAPD ordered 100 Dodge Charger Pursuit patrol cars, 50 Ford Police Interceptor Utility vehicles, and 38 Ford P.I. sedans. For the first time in four years, the City provided the agency funding to purchase new vehicles."
I live in the UK so I only know what the news articles say, my understanding was that eventually the crown vics would be replaced by the chargers and PI's.
Source:
Unfortunately, as pedantic as it may seem, thats the 2011 version, there is difference in the design of the two, I think Ford did a facelift for better maintenance of the PI for police departments, and the LAPD only use the 2013 version But thanks anyway
Hmm, that article was posted a year and a half ago, and I haven't heard anything since.

how to properly make a working spotlight on a car
in GTA IV & LCPDFR Support
Posted
ELS map the spotlight to say, extra 6 and set up the .ini for tkdn mode where 6 is reserved for solid lighting. Or, you can map it to 5 or 6, and just have it flash with takedowns, but I would suggest having takedowns off at stage 3 for the second option, then use ] for takedown lighting.
