They replace the same files that come with the original ultimate backup modification. There's also install instructions too.

You probably use different car slots than me.
You can rename the vehicle files by locating "<VehicleSet>" in Ultimate Backup or "<Vehicles>" in the LSPDFR data folder and agency XML.
Also what exactly is NYPD? New York City PD or North Yankton State Patrol?
This modification is meant for vanilla EUP. I do not use custom EUP packs if you're referring to peds.

Did you install all of the files in the right folders? Did you download the original Ultimate Backup modification so you have the .dll file? Did you install all Prerequisites including EUP? That's all I can think of right now as to why it's not working. Hope this helps!

replace that "policeold1" with "sheriff2" and "policeold2" with "sheriff".

"Sheriff" is configured for BCSO, just so you are aware. I wrote down a list of vehicles that I use for each department. Although everyone can rename the files if they wish to do so. Its easier just to use addon vehicles and set them up in the XML files instead of using a slot that's already being used.

You can rename the vehicle files by locating "<VehicleSet>" in Ultimate Backup or "<Vehicles>" in the LSPDFR data folder. In the next update, I am reverting the North Yankton State Patrol policeold1 and policeold2 slots. Although we all use different car slots I plan on replacing that with FBI and FBI2 to make room for LSSD.

Hello, everyone! I am going to be releasing a new update for San Andreas Ultimate Backup [EUP] soon! In the meantime I will be updating my game to the latest version. I would like to re-add North Yankton State Patrol to Ultimate Backup as local patrol. Next up, I am planning on adding Cayo Perico to Ultimate Backup if possible. I do not think Cayo Perico has an official police department or agency so I will setup the park rangers in that jurisdiction if possible. If anyone has a suggestion for me, let me know!

Hello, everyone. I am going to be starting fire school next month on the 18th until June 12th and will not be active in the meantime. I am going to be preparing for fire school soon, and won't have the time to help. Support for LSPDFR will NOT be given in the meantime from me. I will need to spend the next while studying and preparing for fire school. Try not to drown me with support questions. I will try to get back to everyone when I can, but there are plenty of forums and guides to fixing your game, so please only ask me as a last resort, thanks.

Vehicles may work if you change them in the XML files, however peds will not work. These are only XML files that will change peds when used with EUP.

Does your game crash at all? I do not have any of the older versions of my modification. Could you perhaps send a photo describing this issue? Are you using the default LSPDFR backup menu to call for backup or is it with Ultimate Backup? I have 3 versions of Ultimate Backup, Normal, Rain, and Snow. All of which are working for me. Ultimate Backup was recently updated, so make sure you download the newest update from BejoIjo's website.
Did you recently install any new vehicles or anything similar? Stuff like that may cause AI to stop spawning correctly as well.

Make sure you reinstall the holster, duty belt, radio and body camera mods and place my EUP files back into the game directory after installing EUP. Hope this helps!

Are you referring to EUP? I believe this was intended for 8.0 which was the non-beta version of EUP. I never updated EUP to the latest version, so I will have to check on what's going on.

I am curious to how to do this as well. I am not sure if it is possible since they are custom departments, but I'll do some testing and see if I can get them to spawn ambiently. If I do get this to work, I'll release an update for the ambient spawn settings.

More than likely you've installed EUP wrong, or you're possibly missing one of the prerequisites.

Yes, you would have to rename the vehicle names in the files to do so. In the agency file in the data folder and of course the ultimate backup files.

Custom Regions, Default Regions and Special Units all have them.
<Vehicle livery="2" pax="1" pax_chance="100">POLICE3</Vehicle> - this is an example.
You can press control+f while viewing the document to quickly search for police 3 and police 4.

Along with a custom edited LSPD vest with provided patches for the vest:
It was a police3 vehicle (Ford Explorer from Ripples Valor Pack[Reupload]) heading northbound on the highway through Paleto Bay towards the gas station I believe.I do not use custom EUP packs, so I can't help you there, but for vehicles, you have to change the vehicle name in the XML files, I use the highway patrol for the Police 3 slot along with Police 4 and of course the Police Bike.

According to BejoIjo yes, CompuLite is listed as one of the prerequisites for the mod.

This might be due to the ambient spawn system from 4.0 with LSPDFR. What folder are you using? Are you using a custom EUP pack or anything? Also where exactly did you see LSPD in Paleto? I need details to help fix your issue.

This is likely due to the North Yankton vehicle configurations in the duty_selection file. Try spawning them with a trainer instead.

It could be because I installed hanakos vest files so that changed the numbers on the components possibly. I will look into it further when I get a chance, not that big of a deal but it is what it is. Just figured I'd mention it incase someone else is having the same thing happen.
This is most likely due to you using different vehicle slots than me. I use police 3 and police 4 for state patrol vehicles. You would have to rename everything to your vehicle slots that you setup for openiv.
As for vests, I am not sure. I do not use any custom EUP packs or anything, so I can not help you out there. Your best bet is to change comp_accessories="x" and tex_accessories="x" since this line is what determines your vest options.

This should be fixed in the new update 2.6. North Yankton cars should only spawn in North Yankton now.
