    You do not need to change any XML to edit your partner's configuration when you could simply edit your character the way you want your partner to be.

     

    Copying player's outfit is the simplest option to go with.

     

    There is no duty belt that has a taser and a nightstick on it (at least not a full size nightstick - and the full nightstick belt does not come with a taser).

     

    Changing the XMLs changes the settings for ALL officers (NOT just for the partner).

     

    comp_accessories is what is used for the duty belt slot.

    As for the partner script spawning I have no control of that. Your best bet is to setup your partner the way you want it to be and copy player outfits. Same goes for the duty belt. Its much easier to edit your uniform in the duty selection menu (under component 9) or EUP menu (comp_accessories) and set it up the way you want it to be.

    You can rename the vehicle files by locating "<VehicleSet>" in Ultimate Backup or "<Vehicles>" in the LSPDFR data folder and agency XML.

     

    3. Are addon vehicles supported?

    Yes - please refer to the answer in question 2.

  3. Rockford Hills PD/SWAT/Del Perro PD/SWAT and NYSP is done. FIB SWAT/HRT is also done as well. Just have to work on SAF next and then the 3 rangers and 4 security departments. Followed by insignia correction, new jurisdictions, and some other miscellaneous stuff.

  4. I've finished installing LSIA and LSPP tonight. Updated all new uniforms to the default backup menu, and Ultimate Backup: including EUP Menu and the duty selection menu. I only have to install the new content from RHPD/DPPD/NYSP/SAF, the 3 Park Ranger Departments including NPS Tech, and the 4 new security departments. From there I have to touch up on insignia correction, new jurisdictions, and some other miscellaneous stuff. Shouldn't be more than a week now.

  5. There's going to be a delay of the mod release until I fix my game. I updated GTA 5 with everything that I needed to as usual, but now GTA 5 does not launch (with the mods folder being disabled and vice versa). I have no idea as to why its not working. I updated everything imaginable. If its not a Script hook error, it just crashes without warning. Also why I hate updating games, but I needed to update the game sooner or later I guess. On the plus side, I ordered TrackIR so we will be doing a variety of new content with that on the YouTube channel. Racing, Trucking, and more. So be sure to stay tuned for that later on this week (hopefully).

  6. Update: I have been adding and correcting a lot of miscellaneous things within the mod.

     

    USMS, NOOSE SEP, LSIA, LSPP, DPPD, RHPD, NYSP, LSDRP, Game Warden, LE Park Ranger, NPS, SanFire, Bobcat Security, Securoserv Security, L&L Security, Chuff Security are the only departments left to finish.

     

    I also have to finish adding in several new stations, and finish insignia correction.

     

    I finished adding in most of the new uniforms to EUP Menu, Duty Selection Menu, and Ultimate Backup, but I still have a bit of a way's to go.

    Most units and uniform variations between male/female units are mostly equal 50%. Perhaps the odds of you seeing more female units is coincidental. You can always edit certain unit's chances with Ped chance="x" x being the number between 1-100 for the probability of seeing the uniform/unit.

  9. I've finished adding in the Metro LSPD and the SAR Tech for (LSSD, BCSO, LSFD, LSCOFD).

     

    I'm also adding Lifeguard uniforms to the duty selection menu, and I also have fixed the SAHP Jacket.

     

    I'm adding in some new clothing items such as the coat/jackets as well too.

     

    Roughly 13 departments left to finish and from there the 3 security departments.

     

    Having to go across 3 different menus (EUP Menu, Ultimate Backup & Default Backup Menu) is EXTREMELY difficult having to multitask and cross-check making sure each folder has each uniform. From the 3 folders: normal, rain, and snow as well as the BCSO Vintage folder.

     

    Slow process, but I am also reorganizing a lot of things such as insignia correction, new jurisdictions, and new uniforms.

     

    We're getting there, one department at a time.

     

    I also installed EUP Converter which is speeding up the process 10 fold, but I am working as fast as I can without losing track and my focus.

  10. After reinstalling EUP Menu for LSPDFR I was able to get the new LEO, EMS and Fire uniforms. I will be adding several new departments including


    NPS, 
    Metro LSPD, 
    SAR Tech, 
    FIB HRT, 
    LSIA/LSPP/RHPD ESU/Utility, 
    RHPD/DPPD SWAT

     

    I will also be adding in new jurisdictions for the new departments as well.

    Water Rescue
    USMS
    NOOSE SEP
    NYSP
    Bobcat Security
    Securoserv Security

    Uploading a fix soon. I suppose that was the last thing I forgot to update. Thanks. While I am at it, I will check out the new EUP Menu preset ini file and see what I may have missed. Perhaps I'll add in NPS soon.

    I personally stopped using them after reverting all of the duty belt/radio slots to normal. So the tutorial for them became pointless since now we don't have to change the slot of the belts/radios and rename them. After the new update all of my uniforms became bugged when the slot I was using for the radio I think gave them a badge on default.

    1. How Do I Remove Hats?

     

    You can locate "prop_hats" in Ultimate Backup XML files, and Prop id= in the data folder XML files for the prop hats.

    The same goes for any other type of prop - just locate the phrase "Prop" or "Prop id".

    As I have mentioned previously. EUP Menu did not include a new preset outfit ini file and I had to cycle through all of the new uniforms manually.

     

    There was no list to reference for uniforms, and I don't know how many new agencies are hidden.

     

    I added all of the new uniform items I have seen. But I could update this someday to find the other hidden agencies.

     

    Updating this mod isn't a top priority for me now since this works for EUP 9.3 L&O and 1.5 S&R.

     

    I also don't know what LSDRP / SADFW is?

     

    I know NPS is National Park Service, but I'm unsure of the other 2.

    I think you're mistaken. 9.3 is the 8.3 version. Alex has said 8.3 was an incorrect version number when he first uploaded 8.3 when it was supposed to be 9.3. Also why Serve and Rescue is still named 1.4 instead of 1.5 in the oiv files. I also am not subscribed to any Patreon or beta versions. This is the public version of EUP.

    This was my first thought too. I saw some content creators had it in their videos of 9.3, but when I downloaded the new EUP menu update, it wasn't in there.

     

    I already had a preset outfit ini file in my folder, but there's no warning of confliction when you download the new update. So I had no clue I was supposed to delete it.

     

    Too late to change anything now. All of my outfits from preset outfits ini were updated, and its too much of a hassle to go back through all 500 uniforms to categorize them into one additional menu.

     

    Thankfully, I create all uniforms from EUP Menu into the duty selection menu, so EUP menu is optional.

     

    Just 2 preferences of what you prefer to use is all.

    Yes, they should spawn with jackets/coats when the weather changes in Ultimate Backup. Class A will be the only attire that spawns in rain/snow for the default backup due to the limitations from the data folder unless you change their clothing in the agency eup file.

  19. Due to the incoming GTA Online update tomorrow, I am going to have to delay the release of the new update.

     

    It should be done by Friday (hopefully).

    Not quite. I still have to add some new snow coats/rain jackets, and some new outfits from the new EUP update.

     

    EUP Menu did not include a preset ini for 9.3, so I have to add that manually.

     

    Prior to the release of EUP 9.3, I was sick twice in the span of a week and a half, but I've been trying to work on the new update a bit every day. Some days hours on end.

     

    I made configs for 8.1, 8.2 and now 9.3, so this just takes time as this mod covers ALL three mods at once.

     

    The default backup menu, EUP Menu and of course Ultimate Backup.

     

    My modification takes the longest to update due to the length of the project, but it's getting there.

     

    So far,

    I fixed over 550+ Outfits From New EUP Update [EUP Menu, Data Folder, Ultimate Backup].

    Added Bicycle Units
    Added Fire Chiefs (EMS Unit)
    Added LSFD Fire Pilots (EMS Unit)

     

    and,

    Reverted The Duty Belt/Radio Slot To Default For All Outfits (From New EUP Update).

     

    Now is just the matter of adding in all of the new content to all 3 plugins, and to work on the BCSO Vintage Configurations.

  21. I have finished roughly 70% of the new update and I still have a bit of a way to go. All left to do now is add in the new content (new jackets/coats, San Fire Uniform (Wildlands), US Marshal Windbreaker, etc..)

     

    I have also reverted the radio/duty belt slot to default so we will have a radio and a duty belt for all uniforms on default.

     

    Notepad++ has saved me a lot of time editing all of the files at once than one by one so that was able to help me speed up the process.

     

    To recap this update is going to be for  Law & Order 9.3 + Serve & Rescue 1.5. It will also include vintage BCSO configurations and a fixed version for Law & Order 8.2 + Serve & Rescue 1.4.

     

    Hopefully, by Sunday evening I can have this update done.
