Wordpad does not require an internet connection. If Microsoft maliciously stopped Wordpad from working if there was no internet, then yes wordpad would also be malware.

Please, please, please at least somewhat educate yourself on a topic before jumping into it, because it can be harmful to everyone and a plugin's reputation if people say completely false things under the wrong pretense.   I'll help you out and explain what malware is:

    Quote

Malware is any software intentionally designed to cause damage to a computer, server, client, or computer network.

Malware is NOT forcing an internet connection, Bejoljo's mods do NOT damage your PC or anything of the sorts.

Also, Bejoljo's mods are not a software.  You do not "download/install" them to your computer in the same sense you install a program like Photoshop, you drag and drop them into a folder - a folder which they can be deleted very easily.

Stop The Ped is better coded, more efficient. Plus it actually gets updated 🙂

edit: wait, STP needs internet connection to work? Wow that's....

    So it's basically malware/spyware?

Will remove it then 😕 what a shame

Bastion already said what I was going to, but I have a separate question.

How are you comparing forced internet connection to malware and spyware?  Do you even know what malware is?

I'm genuinely flabbergasted that someone is saying a forced internet connection is malware.  This website requires you to have a constant internet connection to use it.  Does that mean this site is bad?

Yes unfortunately albo left the community and his mods aren't being updated but it doesn't really matter, people are still using outdated mods, hell, the whole GTA 4 section in this site is outdated mods yet people still use Abraxas and Braveheart's mods. Albo's stuff stood the test of time, gave simple and efficient tools for the community without complicating things for users. I don't like Bejoljo's mods since they require internet connection to work, mine is unstable so is a lot of other players but he wouldn't fix it based on the fact that "iT HeLpS WiTh TrOubLeShooTiNG" which is just bullshit. People have been fixing issues with crash reports since modding was a thing, you don't need constant surveillance to be "efficient".

STP is bloated with useless stuff, i liked some new features it introduced especially when it comes to managing scenes n stuff but it keeps getting updated with a lot of stuff that i ain't really gonna use and conflicts with other mods. Arrest manager is simple and efficient, provides me with a no-bullshit prison transport and that's just what i need.

And really, the thing i hate most about some new mods, is that they depend on other mods to work. This is just lazy developing and makes the game slower and more prone to crash by creating layers of mods on top of mods. A mod for a mod for a mod for GTA V, that's honestly just a recipe for my game to crash so i pass in most cases.

Forced online has nothing to do with helping to troubleshoot (to my knowledge, anyway).  Online only can be a pain, but is is required for better synchronization between his mods.  I don't know where you're getting the "constant surveillance", but none of that is going on.  If you want surveillance, go to Chill Callouts where the dev collects your machine ID.

STP is bloated with useless stuff,

This sounded familiar, and sure enough, I already replied to you.  Since you chose to ignore me since you know I'm right, I'll repeat it for you.  If you think STP has "useless" features, then you're using STP wrong and not getting the full experience of his mods or LSPDFR.  Myself and many others use every feature STP has to offer and it greatly enhances our game.  I think you need to have another look at the features list of STP, because you're missing out.

If you're not gonna use the stuff being added to STP, then you clearly have no idea how to use said features.  Most, if not everything added to STP gets used by people.  Why?  Because Bejoljo doesn't add useless shit no one cares for.  Additionally, Bejoljo's mods only conflict if those mods have the exact same functionality.  You have 2 mods installed that do the same thing, not the author's fault, it's yours for having both installed at the same time.

It also forces you to install other mods, aka  police smart radio, the thing you said you hated so much (when a plugin depends on another).  STP has a no bullshit prisoner transport system and it's lightweight.  Albo's mods have always been resource intensive,  it's even worse now that they are outdated.

Your entire argument is invalid, because this is literally what Bejoljo's mods aim to fix, mod on mod on mod.  Why do you think his mods are jam packed with features? So you don't need 20 separate plugins

I used to use Albo's stuff as well and we all appreciate what he did, but you need to get off of this high horse of "fuck all the new mods, old ones only".  You're only hurting yourself by refusing to let go of outdated stuff and attacking the new mods simply because you don't like change.  Bejoljo has done nothing but try to help improve the community, and he is very active with other developers and makes sure if they need help, he provides it.

I really haven't got any problems with STP and Arrest Manager. All TOW, Coroner and transport is handled by AM and disabled in STP. I also like TOW service in AM more then in STP. But I also have Traffic Policer and I'm not really sure what does what anymore.

If ped resisting arrest, one plugin makes him give up by aiming and holding E but in my experiences, it isn't reliable. Other plugins makes them give up with aiming and mashing E, that works pretty well and with nicer animation.

The tow feature in both mods is basically the same.  It's strongly advised to remove AM, there is no point in having it.  It's outdated and takes up more fps than needed.  Aside from that, both STP and AM have the same arrest feature, it makes no sense to have two separate mods installed that do the same thing.

    Use Arrest Manager.

Easy to use, not bloated with useless features and doesn't bother you every 2 seconds with online updates.

Not sure where you get "bother you every 2 seconds", because that's far off the beaten path.  Bejoljo's mods are required to be up to date and online only for the best functionality between them.  I really don't understand why people have such an issue with this.  I do feel bad for people who might be on bad connections, but if their connection is that bad they can't play with Bejoljo's mods, chances are they can't stream/view any form of media, so it's not Bejoljo's fault or exclusive to him.

So with stop the ped arresting someone seams to be very buggy, when I arest someone they get onto the ground and when I arest them they jump up, when I arest them they kneel on the ground, I put cuffs on them then they get up with cuffs, is there a way I can change it so they have there hands up I cuff them then they just stay standing up?

Do you have Arrest Manager?  If so, that is conflicting with STP.

Hey I was wondering if there was a way someone could help me with installing add on vehicles? I always seem to have trouble with this and I can never seem to get them work, ing right. If you'd be willing to help me thatd be awesome and greatly apprieciated, also i'm not the most paitent person in the world when doing it myself I try to rush these things when i tend to do it myself lol and would rather have someone who actually knows what they're doing help me out or walk me though it.

    Thanks!

    Eli

I have a step by step guide on how to do this. Patience might not be your thing, but you need it when modding.

my rar contains, enb/ reshade files, with visualsettings.dat

In case you didn't see, it has been approved now. 🙂

You didn't do anything wrong, some files just require that staff look them over and approve first.

just verify game integrity cache and it will work fine guys

    Yep, that did it!  Thanks.

I'd really like to know what files those were that failed to verify, as I'm on the Steam version.  Every other launcher update I've been able to get past without any issue.

When LSPDFR 0.48 or 0.5 out, dev team should merge popular and essential plugins to the mod. Like lspdfr+ , traffic policer, ems plugin etc... Or at least add them to lcpdfr setup with additional options like " Do you want to install lcpdfr+ mod? = Yes/No "

This can make LSPDFR more live and more people can download it.

Hope you can make that happen LSPDFR team.

Not a developer for LSPDFR, but I can tell you that won't happen.  Primary reason being is that the team believe in giving us the option to choose to customize our game, and they believe in giving the community developers the opportunity to make their own mods and expansions onto LSPDFR.  Base LSPDFR is good, has everything we need to patrol and be a cop.  We don't have to install anything else, but the option is there.
