Hey there!  I know it has been a few months since you posted this, but.....thought I would ask anyways!  Did you ever get the badge for these liveries sorted out?  You were looking for a lore-friendly Blaine County version of the ECSO badge, correct?  If you still need that, let me know - I could probably do that up for you.

Hey! Thanks for the offer.  I ended up commissioning a buddy to do the rest of the pack for me.  I am awful at making skins. 😂

    Hi there,

I've just reinstalled GTA V and followed all relevant instructions at the top of this thread, however, EUP Menu crashes as soon as I press F11.

I've attached my RAGE log, any help is appreciated.

    Thanks!

  3. This will be my first livery pack and first "real" LEO livery (my other was for undercover based assignments).  My plan is for this to be a mega pack, starting with @Othrin's beautiful BCSO pack.  ECSO vehicles have unit numbers all over their cars, I'm debating whether or not I should bother with that.  I'm aware that ECSO has a mix of vehicles with white frames and green.  I stuck with the green because it looked better, imo.

So far the Charger is done, working on the Tahoe now. Yes, this pack will be released when done. I may take vehicle requests for it as well, but not until it's released.

Important note: The badge is not correct!  I don't know how to make badges.  If you are good at making them and have time to spare, please feel free to make a lore friendly ECSO badge for me.  You will be credited!

(I'm not entirely happy with the back of the Charger, will most likely try and make the text look better prior to release)

Here is the Tahoe as of tonight.  Still got a long way to go, but will get this pack done.

If you're a resident of Escambia County and have any feedback, let me know!

Well, my thinking was just hooking the generic game car spawn and calling repair on each vehicle after it was spawned. I don't think this would cause any problems as they are newly spawned (though I might find out some).

Any update on this?  I really love LML for the simplicity of installing non-ELS cars, but this extra issue is makes using them not feasible since AI do not spawn using any of the extras I specified.

  5. It truly sucks when developers, whether they be vehicle devs or plugin devs, stop doing public uploads, and/or distance themselves from the LSPDFR community. However, when you read threads like this, it becomes obvious why. The amount of entitlement that a lot of these idiots have is INSANE. Even the guy above me. "You made a decent pack Pyro, but you can do better. You can appease me and my needs and everything I want."

Y'all, shut the fuck up and sit down. You are not entitled to anything, nor are you owed anything. The people who make mods do it FOR FREE ON THEIR OWN FUCKING TIME. Are you willing to commission a "proper" SWAT pack? No? Are you a cheap ass? Yes. There's your answer, you get nothing.

What's sad is, had the OP not been a cunt in his message, I'm sure a developer would have been more open to discussing this seriously and seeing what the person wanted. but no, dumb kids think developers exist to make what you want.

Yes, that's what I meant. Thanks for confirming. I suppose that means LML works "as intended" in the sense of how files get loaded but I do agree and see your point about looking into ways of making it more convenient. Perhaps just calling repair on each newly spawned vehicle works and it should not have any side effects (I think?). If you could confirm this for a few more models (spawn them, repair them), that would be great. Then I could see about including such an option automatically in the future.

Would the repair also work for cars spawned from back up, though?  I can confirm it on all models.  Car works fine except the extras.

The CAPTCHA challenge was toggled on in response to an incident. Once we are confident the incident is over the CAPTCHA will be removed.

The challenge is there to protect the community and ensure you can still download files even when there are attempts to attack our infrastructure, if it wasn't there for events like this, you wouldn't be able to download anything.

Maybe do picture based captcha instead, or the puzzle piece where we grab the slider and move the puzzle into place.  I get Sucio's frustration, some of them are impossibly annoying.

  8. I installed two things, a pack and a separate car from a different author.  Both work, however, the vehicle extras are broken.  When I go through my trainer (tried multiple), toggling extras does nothing.  If I repair the vehicle, the extras show up.  I tried to force the extras to spawn both from the vehicles meta and from ultimatebackup backup units, neither worked.  Additionally, I installed two of the cars from that pack into my sheriff and sheriff2 slot, same exact thing, extras don't work.  I'm really confused, because to my knowledge, fivem cars are built the exact same way as non els for singleplayer.  There's no reason at all the extras, of all things, shouldn't be working.

This probably isn't exclusively an LML issue, but since LML is aimed at letting you install these fivem cars for singleplayer, I thought it was worth mentioning.

Most likely a silent crash right at game startup, usually because something else interferes. Check your eventvwr.exe -> Windows Logs -> Application for GTA 5 entries with a timestamp correlating with the game launch. Should have vfs as faulting module and an offset. If you could post a screenshot, I can probably check which pattern fails.

    Copied as a text document.

    vfs windows log.txt

  10. Installed LML for the first time and am pretty positive I got the installation correct.  GTA will not start. The Rockstar window comes up, tries to load, then closes.  However, if I remove vfs.dll, GTA will open and be fine.  I did see another topic where people reported this file was causing issues.  Any ideas?

That is a shame. I have noticed that crash-issues are posted everywhere, but then perhaps make it reversed? Creating a sub-forum where non-crash-issues should be posted specifically.
That forum could be a subforum for LSPDFR 0.4 Support

If that structure was implemented, then posting-fools would be 'caught' in LSPDFR 0.4 Support because that would be the first thing they see 🙂
And those that actually think before posting a support-request, could post in the non-crash-issue-forum.
    Idk..
I just miss a functional forum structure, where other types of issues could be found easyer 🙄

There already is a structure, but I think you're having issues understanding it. I also think you might be confused about LSPDFR versions.

LSPDFR 0.3 is an old version of LSPDFR, look at the name 0.3.

0.4 is the current version, which you can ask for help with in the dedicated forum - https://www.lcpdfr.com/forums/forum/920-lspdfr-04-support/

I would suggest a new sub-forum in LSPDFR 0.4 Support  ( and perhaps even in LSPDFR 0.3 Support )
The sub-forum should simply be named something like "Game-crash-issues".
And should be excursively for post about the game crashing.  It would separate the most common posts in LSPDFR 0.4 Support  witch is post about crashing, from anything that is not about crash-issues, and make those few posts stand out. Atm they are buried under loads of crash-help-requests.
The crash-section could also have a pinned "Have you tried to.." section, where the most common reasons for crashing could be listed.
I believe that structure could reduce the number of posts in general.

LSPDFR 0.3 is no longer supported, and the forum is locked.  I believe they're keeping it as more of an archive.

It's a good idea, but people don't read shit. A good majority of people ignore the LSPDFR support section and post their LSPDFR issue in GTA V support.  Don't get me started on the people who post support topics in " modding information" or "vehicle modification showroom". These people have the mentality of 'I will post wherever I want and be damned of reading anything proper.'  If implemented, this would just make more work on the staff team, to be honest.

Ok mate thanks I didn’t mean sell it on this website I mean if someone comes up to me being like hey can you make this plugin for me?

What you do outside of LSPDFR's website is up to you. 🙂 If someone commissions a mod from you, you can do it if you want.  If you want to have a discord server where you sell mods, you can.

Does anyone have a plugin/mod that when you shoot, it sends a cop to come help you. Like a distress signal when you fire your gun.

Bare in mind, if you use UltimateBackup, the responding AI officer who comes from this plugin will NOT react the same way as UB cops. Once the situation is code 4, they will leave.

Wait a minute... I fixed it with the following steps

    1. Delete OpenIV.ASI and asiloader in Grand Theft Auto V folder

    2. Restart PC (Not a shutdown, a restart)

    3. Reinstall OpenIV.asi and asiloader from OpenIV. (OpenIV -> Tools -> Asi manager)

Let me guess, you could hear ELS was working, but no lights? This is a common ELS bug, sadly.

While what you did fixed it, you don't need to delete anything. Restarting your computer (not shutdown) will fix it.

thx for evreyone giving me a better understanding of lspdfr but any idea when 0.5 will come out

No clue. There's been no announcements or anything even hinting it's in development. My guess, we are years away from it.
