  1. +1 I installed it and its much better than the previous version I had, no ridiculous orange glare from streetlamps at night. Yet to test it during a cutscene yet but I'm gonna assume it'll be ok. Thanks for the recommendation :)
  2. Yeah I find I can hit about 50-55 with my traffic without suffering the dreaded taxi bug, although I don't really have any custom cars except a Chevrolet Caprice as my police2, and I get about 45 fps with the current ENB i have, somewhere around 60 fps without ENB
  3. I could only find one video of Chikamru's 1.1 ENB on Youtube, and as the traffic density was set to 0 it was kinda hard to judge the difference with only 1 car to look at for comparison :/
  4. Thought so...guess the hunt for a decent 1.0.7.0 ENB continues lol
  5. LCPDFR doesn't work with 1.0.4.0 though does it? Thats the only reason i didn't bother downgrading...I'd rather have sucky graphics and be able to play FR than have it look good and not be able to play...
  6. Yeah thats the problem I have with Vulgadrop's ENB, although usually its just the cutscenes that are too bright, normal gaming is pretty spot on except maybe the street lamps glowing a rather bright orange colour
  7. The iCEnhancer 1.3 video looks much better really....but I definitely think it needs the HD textures etc to look as good as the video (I know mine won't, my PC would explode if i turned my settings up that high lol)....the textures pack is a Megaupload link though so unsure were else I can find them (if anywhere)
  8. Do you have all the extra HD texture packs etc installed as well? EDIT: That's no good for me, I'm using 1.0.7.0 (unless it works with both?)
  9. Yeah...hopefully this will be something R* look into for GTA V, or at least increase the amount of time an AI driver will willingly sit behind you whilst stationary before trying to ram-raid their way round you EDIT: +1 to The Loot and Tom for their suggestions though, any help in reducing pedestrian retardedness in GTA is appreciated ^_^
  10. I've been listening to a live feed from the Bronx all morning since reading this topic. Gotta admit, the constant chatter of the district division I'm tuned into would be pretty much ideal for in-game...suchy a shame the cops in GTA aren't like this on the radio...oh well...maybe something to hope for in GTA V (along with a whole new FR of course :D )
  11. Hehe, yeah I was just looking at that before you posted about it. Seems to be the most effective one for stopping any traffic behind ya. Hopefully stops these AI imbeciles from destroying my nice shiny Chevrolet cruiser ^_^
  12. No i don't, I assume the SNT is available in the DL section?
  13. I guess that would help. Do you have any links to effective ones? I did kinda guess before I even posted this would be a tough obstacle to overcome, short of someone rewriting the whole code for AI drivers I doubt it'd be possible to completely fix it...
  14. I would have no idea how to do that
  15. Thanks, I'll take a look at the standard settings and see how my game looks, if there's anything I want to change though I'll probably have to come back and ask...installing mods I can do, but fiddling about with settings like this scares me :P
  16. Does anyone know if there are any mods/scripts/whatever out there to make the AI drivers more realistic in their driving? If there's one thing that bugs me when I'm on patrol its pulling up to a set of lights in my cruiser and some jackass AI driver trying to pull round me cos they're impatient and smashing my/other cars up. Obviously no one generally acts that way for real on the roads, and it would be especially advantageous during traffic stops...the amount of times I've tried to pull 1 car over and its resulted in a huge pile-up/congestion at a junction because all the AI drivers are mounting pavements, running down peds, etc etc trying to drive round each other... Is there anything like this available? Or would anyone be willing to take a crack at making it?
  17. Yeah, I'm in the process of downloading/installing the BCT pack now, is Sgt. Kanyo's Realistic Timecycle Mod the one that sync's game time to system time? (So that the game plays in real time in regards to day/night shift) or am I thinking of something else....thats one thing that always bothered me about GTA IV, I sit for 10 minutes driving around and about 3 game days pass by....that's 1 slow ass driver!!!
  18. Do you have a link please? And I assume I can just overwrite my current ENB settings with new ones?
  19. I know right? I saw Fonia5's vids on YT and went looking for the ENB setting....I was sadly disappointed and ended up having to settle for Vulgadrop's 2.1c ENB, which is pretty spot on....apart from cutscene's being ridiculously bright (to the point of often not being able to make out Niko's facial features), and occasionally some indoor areas are extremely hard to navigate due to darkness :/
  20. Not sure, but you could try Vulgadrops 2.1c ENB. I use it and my PC isn't exactly a beast, with LCPDFR and that Vulgadrop's ENB though I get a pretty good overall graphical feel, plus the drop in FPS is barely noticeable. http://www.gta4-mods.com/misc/1070-enb-graphic-mod-rev2-f10162
  21. FREAKING AWESOME MOD GUYS!!! I only recently got back into playing GTA IV and stumbled across some vids on Youtube of LCPDFR, despite being quite frustratingly glitchy at times it is definitely one of the best mods for IV I've seen (and I tend to download multiple mods for nearly all my games), will be great to see what new features you have planned for future releases. Keep up the absolutely amazing work dudes!!!
