Great pack! Just a a couple things need fixing before it can get 5 stars; -takedown light beam point backwards instead of forward. -there's no texture for underneath the cars(the explorer at least, untested with the other cars) deserves 4½ stars really, but we don't have that option Looks great in-game. BTW, is there any way to change the lightbar to make the glass red and blue? which texture file do I need to edit? My latest livestream had your Explorer as the star.

guys, it's not really hard to do, and you don't need a mod to do it. download a car you want, extract the .rar to your desktop, rename all the files (3 or 4 depending on the model) to policeb (so you should have policeb.ytf, policeb.ytd, policeb_hi.ytf and might have policeb+hi.ytd). upload those files to the latest patchng's vehicles.rpf Next, find and open the update.rtf/common/data/levels/gta5/vehicles.meta. use the search function to find the policeb paragraph and delete it. (you won't have a policeb2, that's an addon I have) Then take a normal police paragraph, copy/paste it to have a double, and rename the first couple of lines to policeb except the handling line. save and close. Then open any carvariation.meta (i personally use the one in the gunrunning dlc folder) and again, make a double of any car, rename the top line to policeb, then go to the bottom of that paragraph and change lightsettings to 0 and sirensettings to 1 for LEDS, and 13 for Rotators. Save and close. Always make a backup first of any meta file. I'm only responsible for what I tell you, not what you understand)

it's been doing it since he added the ped history, crashes every 2 or 3 pullovers. You check the ped database, close it and go to check the vehicle database and whole game shuts down back to desktop. It's unplayable. Had to delete half my mods and all but 2 addon cars just so I can do a 30 minute video every week without it crashing.

easy fix, change the lightsetting in the carvariation.meta. I had the same thing, fixed it right up.

it's mainly for people who have add on cars and who know what they are doing. If you've been playing fine without it, 99% chance you don't need it. Also helps a little bit if you're having problems with mods crashing your game for excess memory usage, like ComputerPlus has been doing these past 4 updates. Thanks for the upload @HazardHound

It was a great mod at first, but now you've tried to put too much stuff in and it has become unplayable. Crashes at every 2 or 3 traffic stops and makes the whole game crash back down to desktop even with every added function turned off like pictures and past history. Also does not play well with Entity Persistance and other priceless mods. Please make it the way it was before, the KISS method is usually the best way to go. Keep It Stupid Simple.

Sûreté du Québec 4k Skin pack for BradM's BCSO Pack
GabLeGamer commented on GabLeGamer's file in GTA5 Mods Vehicle Skins
it actually uses the trunk lid, and there is a pack on this site with an arrowboard. Check out Jedahdiah's pack: I'm also trying to learn how to model cars myself at the moment, i'm working on a 2018 charger with the arrowboard... it won't be out for a couple of weeks/months because as I said, I'm still learning how to use ZModeler and everything that goes with it, but it's coming along nicely. -

Yeah i've done that, helps a little, takes longer before I lose textures, but the main thing i'm looking for is the force GTA V to use all of the available VRam...

Hello! I've been having an issue where I lose textures after an hour or so of play. I know it's a video memory problem but I was wondering if there's any way to force GTA V to use more VRam? I have a GTX 1060 with 6gb DDR5 memory but the game only uses half and I still end up losing textures, especially after a long pursuit with many units involved. My PC isn't the greatest and yes, I do have vehicle addons and mods installed, but it should be more than enough to run what I have... Seems to be even worst when I install visual mods like Redux or Make Visuals Great Again. GPU: GeForce GTX 1060 6GB CPU: AMD FX(tm)-8350 Eight-Core Processor Memory: 16 GB RAM (16 GB RAM usable) Current resolution: 1920 x 1080, 60Hz Operating system: Microsoft Windows 10 Home Here's what I mean... at first it's only the yellow line that goes blurry, then the surrounding dirt and grass become choppy, and at the end I start losing road segments and AI traffic stops spawning(you actually see the headlights vanish at a distance when I get closer). Note that I don't have any AI traffic mods or addons, the only addon cars I have a police that only spawn when I ask for backup, no ambiant driving. Yes, I've tried lowering the graphics settings, it does help take longer until I start losing the textures, but it still happens. Only thing I haven't tried yet (just thought of it right now actually) is loweing the resolution... but on a 50 inch monitor, any less than what I have will look horrible...

Looks like the default Make Visuals Great Again settings.
