  1. UltimateBackup.ini includes these lines by default:

// When player is injured, the ambulance paramedic or fireman will give a medkit to restore player's health (yes/no)
    MedicGiveMedkit=yes

This feature stopped working for me a few updates ago. I don't know exactly which one caused that, but it isn't working yet after updating again.

Does it work for you? If so, how can I get it to work?

I already asked in the file comments section but I didn't get a response.

  2. You should get much more than 35 with 1070. I get 30 FPS when doing LSPDFR related things (traffic stops, pursuits, etc.) with R9 380. I don't know why people with good PCs can't get 60 stable FPS. I'm afraid there are no hardware components that can bear LSPDFR in all cases, so I think performance here depends on something else than hardware.

Fixed up some stuff in the thread. I have recently gotten back into fiveM GTARP again and got accepted into the LSPD in a whitelisted server so I may or may not be playing this mod anymore but I'm always willing to help so either comment here or PM me if you need. LSPDFR is a great mod and has the best experience for police in GTA but the criminals are generally the same and don't have much personality like what a human can create so it's gotten a little stale for me. I'll be back though inevitably.

Yeah StopThePed does that mate. Check out the demo videos.

I hope you enjoy that RP. I do like RP but I find FiveM not as immersive as SAMP for instance, due to the number of players

  4. Hello

The problem I have with RPH is that I can't change some options on startup. For example, Developer mode is always enabled. If i uncheck it, it won't make any changes and will be activated anyways. Same happens with windowed mode. I also tried to disable those via .ini, but as soon as I run RPH, it reverts back to the previous situation.

When I replaced the music files for the loading intro to the game I had to do something like extract OAC files, replace the media files in the folder with the sounds I wanted replaced, named them the same thing, replaced them, then put the OAC file back into the spot they were extracted in OpenIV. The siren pack I went for just straight up replaces the RESIDENT.rpf file and was super easy, maybe look out for a pack with this option if you're still having troubles.

Yep, that's what I did. What siren did you install by the way?

    Hello,

    What mod did you install?

    Thanks!

I installed this one. I did some research and found that some GTA update changed the siren sound name from 0x0... to SIREN_PA20A_WAIL and the horn from 0x0... to AIRHORN_ECQ or something like that. So I changed the files names but all the sirens got muted in the game.

  7. Hello

So I installed a siren mod this morning and, despite following all the steps, the default siren sound didn't get replaced. Then I tried to rename the main siren sound file to SIREN_PA20A_WAIL, which is the default GTA siren for LSPD cars, but the siren became mute.

    I don't have ELS, I don't know if that's the problem.

EDIT: I forgot to say that yelp and phaser do get replaced, but not wail.

  8. I know there's an .ini option to make them exhausted sooner but, dude, they are just like Ironman runners up and down the hills. They run uphill much faster  than me (even using STP sprint boost) and they don't fall when running downhill. My right thumb needs a break 😂. So, is there any way to avoid this? Anything that make them slower, or maybe make the other cops chase him through the mountains as well.

    Hi Guys,
Thanks for your responses, Sorry it's taken me so long to respond...been rather busy! 😃

"Left Shift" during a pursuit doesn't work on my version at all, when i press the horn button to initiate a traffic stop it doesn't make any speech either.

Just gives a quick blip of the siren.

I'll try pressing the "E" but so far i'm not having much luck...it's a feature i really miss!!

    Cheers guys!

I found the answer to this. When you are playing with a custom character, it is NOT possible to yell through the megaphone. But if you are playing with a preset character, then he/she WILL YELL through it when you press the traffic stop key.

It seems like only the 'original' cops in the game can use it.

I should note that I have managed to make it all more bearable by "slowing traffic down" at the scene using stoptheped's ped/vehicle search menu as I noticed that the radius for slowing traffic down affects backup units like tow trucks, prison transports and coroner vans allowing them more time to decide where to park.

Closing nearby roads can sometimes be a good option as well

  11. When tactics are enabled, police vehicles try to pit the suspect. But you have to be careful, because they drive recklessly and ram civilian vehicles. They also crash into nearby objects quite often when trying to perform a pit.

Recommendation: Enable only when other unit is behind the suspect and there's no oncoming traffic
