It's been a while so I guess this will be for information sake but our local office had an open house today and I got pictures of the tabs for the Explorers and Chargers.
You are amazing! Thank you so much man

@Helix The way to fix that tailight problem is to reverse the settings you messed with. The solution to the blur is that you will just have to live with it. The person who made the vehicle made the lights bright, which might be causing that, like HP said.
I made the car. The taillight utilizes the lighting used by the dashlight. It’s just that its a very big and long light, so I assume that’s what’s causing the blur.
it’s such a weird issue, I’ve never heard anyone say anything about it.
2 hours ago, Helix said:@HP Deskjet Yeah that's what I was thinking man just about it being such a bright light. All the other lights on the car are clean and perfect. I pretty much got that blur sorted out I hope, but my biggest problem is the faint reverse lights. The brake lights not flashing I can live with.
Any suggestions on how I can correct the reverse lights?
To correct the reverse lights and your brake lights, you should use a visual settings like RadianceV or MVG or something similar that makes your lights brighter.
It will ‘blur’ the taillight, but it will produce a better result around the whole vehicle and all of your in-game vehicles.
I will do some testing with other lighting methods.
check for an update within the next few days

@Helix Hey man! So i’m not too sure what that problem is, or honestly, what I’m looking at, lol.
I think it’s just the game’s reaction to such a bright light. Do you have this problem with any of the other lights around the vehicle?

No problem! I only remember him checking his firearms in the gun rack then he stepped out and I heard the loud bang as he released the antenna but I'm sure it was on the drivers side. At least in my area in the desert a lot have the large antenna but not a lot of metro areas seem to have them as I see through google images because I've seen some monster antennas from a few K-9 CVPIs we have out here. The only thing I can speculate is the little white tab on the roof drivers side, I think that's what they hook it on. You can kind of make it out in your first picture, but here's one from somebodies Flickr.
Ohhh, good find! I didn't even notice that white piece up there. I guess that's probably the safest bet. Thank you so much for your insight, man. I really appreciate it.
I haven't noticed that little piece up there on other vehicles before.
When you say he released the antenna, you think they swing the antenna down when going into certain areas?

I went on a ride along with the CHP last year and they had the antenna held down because they (at least in the two offices I had rode with) park their vehicles under covered parking spots. The officer I went with told me "If you hear a metal bang it's the antenna." I'm not sure there's a fancy reason other than to protect it under lower clearances.
Thanks man. This is super helpful. Did you happen to see what was holding the antenna down? I'm curious, cuz at the moment I have a vehicle utilizing this, but I can't see what it's held in place from in any of the photos I have..

15ish systems? Not counting head and tail lights.
Instead of like 48 or whatever that thing has.

Oof, that's too low for me

Well, assuming you are using Zmodeler, you'd have to download / create some lighting modules. Open a vehicle of your choice and import/merge them onto the vehicle. I assume that's what you're asking?
The offset's is the direction in which the lights environmental lighting will face.
You're right hahah

i think we need to set a lights cap for you bro
What's the cap gonna be?

Anything at $1000 can run LSPDFR just fine man, you shouldn't have any problems lol. Even laptops.
For starters, you can have a look at
or
If you invest in a laptop, just remember that once it's outdated, it outdated. Desktops you can upgrade with the newest cards, Processors, etc.

1. A file doesn't tell the lights where to shine, the dummies do. Extra's can be edited in the VCF's to shine in a certain direction.
2. The style, I assume you mean the patterns? You can set certain patterns by manipulating the extra's. The following extra's flash as a PAIR / together:
- Extra_1 & Extra_4
- Extra_2 & Extra_3
- Extra_5 & Extra_6
- Extra_7, Extra_8 & Extra_9
- Extra_ten (steady burns)
- Extra_11 (Takedowns)
- Extra_12 (unsure)
3. Not too sure what you mean by rotating light? I assume you mean rotators. Those are used by using a I believe sirens 20-25 from Non-ELS vehicles.

I have a 2016 Charger that I pulled the taillights off of, moved up a hair and re-colored. The problem I'm having is they aren't as bright as the middle taillight. (if you know what I'm talking about)
I'm curious as to if this has something to do with the Vehicle ID's or if it's just not possible?
I have tried changing the Vehicle ID's several times, exporting with a different ID and changing back to 0... Nothing seems to be working.
I supplied two screenshots of the issue. The top one is the light by itself. The bottom one is a comparison.

So to get this thread started, I will post a WIP I've been working on for a while. It is not a vehicle, it's a dev part. The most current vehicle I have / am still working on is my Georgia based 2017 Dodge Charger found here :
Of course, if you follow my work, you know I LOVE lights and love antenna bombing everything I make. Idk why but I like looking at a confusing mess on my models. I make very few cars that have little lighting, or little antenna bomb and all that... With that in mind, let this thread begin.
So if you pay attention to screenshots, you'll know I posted a mount for the current Motorola Workstation floating around in the dev models. This is the progress (it is also released within that 2017 charger above).

Maybe it got caught up in something, other 2013-2015 CHP Explorers have the same long antenna but in the right position. I'd have to say it's VHF or CB radio antenna like you said judging by the size.

I agree with you, however I see the older vehicles all have antenna's bent and being held in position by something just above the doorframe.
I'm curious as to why they would do this, lol.

Thank you for your help. Changing the VCF from slicktop=false fixed it.

For some reason, every car I create, the environmental lighting for every extra always faces the rear. I've adjusted the dummies countless times, rotated mesh... I've tried literally everything and for some reason, my env. lighting only faces the rear. Any solutions?

You want to make sure in your "Material Browser", that the Emissive maps for your lights are at the very top of the hierarchy.
