@Sleepwalker true explorer sell more. An article I was reading that 50% of all American police cars are explorers. Taurus sold 11%. According to Ford's 2009 brochure "84% of police cars in America are Ford Crown Victorias". So it would benefit ford and also the hundreds of people who lost their jobs.

let's be honest. the fuel economy is terrible on crown vics. they don't handle nearly as well or go anywhere as fast as the explorer or taurus. the great thing about the new PI platform is you get a choice of good drivetrains and options (awd or twin turbo ecoboost). it wouldn't be in ford's financial interest to upfit new vehicles standards (ASM, TC standard) to the old body on frame panther body. it is a great platform,  don't get me wrong, i have a 2011 p7b myself. it's just outdated for the needs of officers today.

Hey guys thanks for the awesome support! I really do hope you can enjoy my texture. If you know the name of the law enforcement agency in the first picture please let me know. Also while your here help me out by signing my petition to bring back the Crown Vic. Link is below.

just letting you know, the crown victoria you know is never coming back. even the newest model is based off of a 20+ year old design.  it's not modern by any means, and just adding more airbags and a new drivetrain doesn't make it modern. also the explorer and taurus are selling well, with the new fusion pursuit coming out. they may bring back the nameplate, but the panther platform is dead.

May I also suggest a skin for the 2015 Charger?

Had a buddy make one for me real quick like one night (Los Santos sheriff, I like to be correct to the game) and 3 days later I happened upon an Alameda County Sheriff driving a new Charger. I ask him about it while at a stop light and he told me that he got the very first one and had just picked it up from getting the light work and such done. Have been waiting and hoping for someone to do a nice pack that covers all the vehicles, though.

    Can't wait!

i have an asco skin* pack out, just added a 16 charger. check it out

  4. Realistically speaking there should only be a few screenshots per vehicle. It just looks sloppy, especially when the first whole row isn't even of your texture work. I do agree with xMod as well. He doesn't have to give you a good review when your work is not worth it.. Your decals are low res and they cut off/ aren't angled correctly to each vehicle.

The template issue is because i had to modify the templates so that they would accomodate my needs, the templates have all been uploaded. The texture issue however is a matter of the texture the k9 window cages use not being there, you are the only person to have this issue, which leads me to believe that you are installing the incorrect .ytd

Are you able to change the skin on the k9 vehicle to all white?

he is not the only one experiencing the issue.

Im don't really like the Caprice and Tahoe lightbar and i much prefer the crown vic and charger. Is there any chance you could make a skin for a different tahoe model and caprice model?

i have updated the tahoe model. in my opinion the other caprice model that is out right now is not nearly as accurate of a vehicle in general as this one, so for now the caprice template will remain the same.

Not really, since most other vehicle mods use very similar settings. It has been always that way since GTA SA. Lt.Caine for sure didn't want to have only ONE pattern, unable being changed...

I don't know what you mean by "California car", but there are verry little emergency vehicles in California that use the steady burn. Anyway, that wasn't my point. The point is that there's no way to turn that off. You HAVE this option in RL and you HAVE this option in ELS - so why did you took it away?

I also doubt that in RL they can't turn off the traffic advisor. I'm pretty sure, they can...

But the main issue is the fact that you can't toggle the pattern of the main lights.

All that isn't realistic at all - if that is what you intended.

Don't get me wrong. I've been waiting for this. These are first class models. But when I can't change the ELS patterns/settings the way I want them (like in every other ELS car mod)... :-(

You could have set it as the main setup, but taking away the option to change it in general, is a no go

i cannot comprehend why you are complaining about light patterns on a fucking CHP based car pack.. and if you've ever even read the ELS documentation you would know that Lt. Caine did in fact implement this far before this pack was made.

  8. great model. i love the interior and the accurately scaled model badges on the trunk lid !

      Reveal hidden contents

No detail is useless. I say this for the engine, because even the default GTA cars have 3D engines, that's me being picky, but I'd do it if I were you. You don't have to get smart with me, I'm just giving you criticism. You can always say, "Oh nobody will notice, nobody cares". Yet the majority doesn't even think LODs are necessary... says a lot. It's also easy just to say, "fix it yourself", but that gets nothing done. I'm straightforward about my reviews, I'll tell you what you can improve. Call me unhappy with the effort, or just accept the mindless "5/5 OMG KDKFKKDKAKF" reviews because that really helps people. I mean no offense to you at all, I'm just being straightforward. It's the only way to get people to improve, not by going, "omg so good quality 5/5 *insert stupid meme here* *insert emoticons here*".

i agree wholeheartedly with your sentiment.

God forbid you receive some criticism. Almost all of your vehicles have an oversized wheel issue. I find it strange as the rest of the vehicle is superb.

thank you for not agreeing just because. :)

I'm sure youve had this problem answered a million times but for the life of me I cannot get the lightbar to properly function. I've tried doing everything mentioned in the comments and still it looks wonky. What can I do to fix it?

I think the problem is part of the carcols but everytime I try to edit or change the file it crashes my game on startup.

i'm having the same problem. where the blue leds are shining in the front of the lightbar. i've replaced all the files multiple times. the author also has conflicting files in the directory than the one he gives you in the readme. the carvariations in the directory is different from the file in the readme he provides and i've tried both to no avail
