I figured out what I was doing wrong.... I couldn't sleep and the thought popped in my head that I had forgotten to update it in OpenIV and only did it in my main directory so it works now lol 😛 Appreciate the help!!

Not one time have I heard anything about updating it through OpenIV??  I guess this is a new thing?

So I downloaded stop the ped today and it is definitely in there because it says when I pull over a car press Dpad and that but it doesn’t do anything so I’m wondering if stop the ped is colliding with vanilla please can someone help ?

You need to change the TRAFFIC_INTERACT  in the lspdfr folder under keybinds.ini

Thanks for the hilarious bug report, I just confirmed and fixed it. It does in fact also work if you are in a vehicle, pressing E will make you leave it and attempt to get the marker, only to be teleported soon afterwards. It happens due to a timeout on the walk task (and a missing distance check in the first place).

    Thanks for that quick fix!

  4. Didn't see this on any of the bug reports, but wanted to bring attention to the community.  If you lay down evidence markers, make sure you pick them up after you are finished!  You can be clear across the map and if you try and arrest someone with the E button, you will be teleported through the map and back to your original location that you placed the marker and go into the animation of picking them up.  So unless you want to ruin your gameplay, video, or stream, I suggest to pick them up when finished.  Once again I did not see a place to start a topic on this particular issue as the bug report thread is over a year old and locked.

  5. Nope, pretty easy.

Just download the 0.4.8  manual version as it is easier.  Take entire contents from that download (you do not need to install license folder) and drag and drop into your main Grand Theft Auto V folder and simple replace the older files.

  6. Also, try and turn off Antivirus software.  Another thing you can try as this happens to me occasionally is to disable  "ingame-Overlay" if you have Geforce Experience installed.

Did you replace any vehicle files recently,  but more importantly did you replace a vehicle.meta file?

  7. Could be a full screen result menu with Stop the Ped.  You could try and edit the StopThePed config file and change it to this and see if it continues with the freezing issue.

// This may force search result to be displayed always in full screen even if you're not using search warrant (yes/no)
    ForceSearchResultFullScreen=no

  8. Could be an outdated version of LSPDFR.  You have 0.4.6 installed   Did you use to play LSPDFR a few months back by chance?   I would say update your game to LSPDFR 0.4.8  however, a lot of the plugins may not be compatible at this very minute.  Tomorrow may be a different story.   I think they are uploading 0.4.7  as I type this and it will be approved shortly and you can try updating to that one if you wish.  But 0.4.6 is not compatible with GTA 5  v2060.1

first off love your you tube videos man!!!!   I changed the mods folder name and it still did the same thing. should i delete my mods folder and start over? Im really hopping i dont have to do fresh install of the game.

Not just yet.   Go to your plugins > LSPDFR  folder.    Rename that  LSPDFR  folder to something like   LSPDFR-copy    now try.  If it works now,  it is not your mods folder but more like a plugin issue.   Meaning that you will have to install the plugins in that folder one by one to see if there is an issue.  Just troubleshooting 101.

Also you might try temporarily disabling your AV software and perhaps firewall just for now if the above doesn't work.

Could be a bad vehicle.meta file perhaps.  Easiest way to trouble shoot this is to rename your mods folder to  something like  mods-copy   now try.  If it loads, there is an issue inside the mods folder.  Could be that vehicle.meta file or maybe one of the vehicles.  Replace the meta file with the original one outside the mods folder and try that first.

Ok, I'm in game now after changing out my game config with something allowing for more vehicles and it appears to be working.

That CrimeStageEncounterInVehicle trigger has gone off once and it has not crashed.

I might have solved it. I'll give it 5 minutes to see if I have.

EDIT: Didn't even need 1 minute. This is a new log this time.

This time, not only did LSPDFR crash, it took the whole game with it.

Might be from SceneManager plugin.  Try uninstalling that and see what happens.  That is the only thing I can think of that is related to CrimesManager error.

Yeah, ELS has been reinstalled too.

The lights aren't flashing at all. I've tried it with all vehicle slots (Police, Sheriff, FBI etc.) and a few dlc ones. Having the same issue with all.

To be honest, I'm considering just doing a fresh install. Start again from my backup folder

I know the update screwed a lot of things up for most people.  A lot of us had to create a new mods folder.  As the update also screwed over the visualsettings.dat file and dlclist.   You could try perhaps making a brand new mods folder.  Reinstall a fresh visualsettings.dat   (I recommend a better radiance, as I have found it to be good on both day and night cycles)

Install into Patchday22ng  see if that helps.  Downloading GTA 5 all over again sucks, but I also had to do this last week trying to figure out my texture loss situation.

Should do, I'm using the same files as I had before the update. I haven't actually touched the XML files tbh

Ya the XML files should be fine.  Have tried to reinstall ELS to make sure that the update didn't flub up something?

Also describe what is happening with the lights.  Like they are not flashing at all?  Which vehicles are currently testing it out on?

Yes, I'm restoring with the back up I created before doing anything, the path you see is just the one I used to save that back up.

Everything was just as you can see there when I installed LSPDFR, rage, etc.

I forgot to tell you that I used to have GTA and LSPDFR installed in the past but uninstalled everything like 3 months ago, can that have to do with my issues?

    Gotcha,

For you just make sure the directory looks like this:     D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V

Try to launch in Single Player mode first.  Make sure you can get into the game properly (connecting to social club, spawn into story mode walk around etc.)

Reinstall Script Hook, LSPDFR which I think has the latest Ragehook in there of 1.81

No other plugins installed and launch the game.

    Report back 😉
