    I know this is a bit of a late response, but have you tried the Foot Pursuit Aid by Albo1125?  You can configure it a bit in the ini to even go a tiny bit faster.  Its a tad bit more realistic than shooting the suspect in the leg, although I do it on purpose most of the time when they are cuffed if I am pissed lol.    As far as the despawn of the vehicle goes, its hit or miss with me.  most of the time its there if I can tag a suspect within a reasonable distance,  so ya use Albo's mod mentioned earlier.  See if that helps.   There is also a persistence mod out there that literally allows for bodies, vehicles and various other objects to remain stationary no matter what the case is unless its hauled away or stolen etc.  Problem with that mod is the memory it starts to eat at your PC after awhile.  Because dead bodies will stay lying on the road 3 blocks over for hours.  If you play that long.

    Yep ninja is correct here.  Would be cool to get a match, but I am still happy with it.  I just like the names to match at least.  Although sometimes I still get names mismatch every now and then, but its rare.

    HAH!  Same here man.   I had a GTX 760 and I could play the game fairly decent, but I could not get high end textures and I was envious of all the people that could make their game so realistic.  Finally decided to upgrade to a GTA 970 sc and I can finally boost everything.  It almost feels like I am in the game ;)

    Well Rage Hook is obviously the main launcher as you already know.  Sam the lead developer likes the Rage Plugin as it helps inject the LSPDFR with the launcher.  The earlier Rage Plugin Hooks were a bit tedious and would cause some pretty hard crashes.   Rage does what it is meant to do and that means launch all of your Plugins as well.  I personally do not have a problem with it.  I think most will come to like it over time.  Its almost like Steam,  most of us disliked Steam when it first came out I could not stand it personally,  now its a part of life with me.  I have most of my games on there and if I have to launch my games through steam then no problem.

    Now does it cause a drain on your system.  Ya I think it does a bit.  Not going to deny that.  I have 16gigs of Ram and when I am capturing gameplay for videos I do have to shut down certain aspects of my PC to capture, have LSPDFR/GTA 5 running.  I personally think the more plugins you have, the more vehicles you put into the game etc.  the more of a resource hog it is.

    The vast majority of the time when I pull a suspect over, or a random pedestrian they run. Like 99% of the time. As soon as I point my gun to arrest, they run. It seems once they begin to run they never surrender, I always have to kill them/knock them out. Real loss of immersion. Am I missing something?

    Random pullovers, ask for ID, run ID, go back over to window and they either drive away for no reason (no warrants, active license etc) or I ask them to get out the car, point my gun and BAM, they run away. 

    Also, what mods are you all running? Could it be conflicting mods causing the issue?

    Sometimes you might be having a really bad streak of people that just like to run.  I have had this happen countless times.  This happens A LOT when you are ordering someone out of the car with E.  I would say they will run 95% of the time.  Its a game mechanic.  Not sure if it will be fixed in LSPDFR 0.3 or not.   For some reason the person in the car doesn't look at you as a cop but a crazy person with a gun.  

    Also do like mentioned above.  You can try and taze them,  sometimes they might comply and other times they will not.  Also there seems to be a weird bug that happens sometimes, that allows you to still play LSPDFR,  you can even do a pull over,  yet the moment you point your gun they run and you can't arrest them.  BUT if another AI cop arrives all of a sudden the person complies?   Yes very strange.  

    Here is how I fixed those situations.  Bring down your Rage Console (Default to F4).  Go ahead and type in LoadPlugin LSPD (Now just press Tab) it will finish the sentence for you.  You will be left with this on your screen in Rage Console  LoadPlugin "LSPD First Response.dll"   Just press Enter.  wait about 10 seconds, it will reload.   NOW JUMP and PRESS F9 at the same time.  (Note your cop model will change appearance)   now try and arrest someone,  should work.   But once again don't point the gun at them in the car as they will just flee.  Instead, ask them out of the car and then point your gun.  The new arrest mechanics in LSPDFR 0.3 will probably resolve all of this issue and I can't wait as you do not even need to point a gun anymore if you do not want to.

    Hey Achilles I can try and help.

    Sounds like you already are doing the things I suggest in my Tutorial videos.  I would do a step further.  Just completely disable your Firewall and Antivirus temporarily.  

    Now,  Right click run as admin.   HOLD DOWN SHIFT KEY for 10-20 seconds.  Wait for Rage Plugin Hook menu to appear.  Go to Plugin tab and make sure you check off "Load all Plugins at startup" click Save and Launch.  Now see what you get.

  7. Pretty sure I read that the new backup system will actually stick around.  

    I also would really love to call for back up whether it be Code 2 or 3.  They arrive,  if its Code 3 they have their hand on holsters,  if I have my gun drawn they have theirs drawn as well.  The moment the suspect hits the gas, my backup are running to their own cars and the chase is on.  You automatically have at least 2 other units with you in the pursuit.  This would be epic.

    I can see this being more of a Plugin functionality that perhaps a modder could pull off.  Just a simple talk to the person with Y and make them leave the scene while vehicles are catching fire etc.   could be interesting

    I did the same as Jeff did.  Me, Jeff, Steve, Kilyin and several others did Assorted Callouts from Albo1125.  Albo had us read over what was and what was not appropriate to show or say in the video.  But I can tell you from personal experience it wasn't for attention, it was from pure excitement and to give Albo support.  If it means he gets some donations sent his way for all of his hard work then I did my job.

No I totally understand where you are coming from.  I think it would be great as a selection to even have 3 different types of voices per model of officer as well.  If the community could record a dialogue and send them into the devs they could perhaps (Although tedius) see which voices sound the best and highest quality and perhaps put them in the game.

    TLDR:  I JUST WANT TO HEAR "YOU GOT ID ON YOU?"  I do not for the Love of God want to hear Kifflom!!  

    Really would love to hear "Show me your ID"  Or "give me your ID" if your forceful etc.   Does this not exist in the game?  If not,  we got to hire Morgan Freeman.  Just sayin.

    Good words Sam,  I think Albo1125 would be a great asset for LSPDFR.  Heck if you and the team were to get Albo on the team, the sky is the limit.  Just my thoughts.

I have that mod,  haven't really noticed a problem with response times.  I mean its fairly realistic, it takes about 10-15 seconds for them to arrive sometimes.  However, during certain ANPR hits they do not come at all, until a certain point in time because it sort of a choreographed style call out.  

    Only thing I have noticed is some Zentornos parked out in the forest areas lol

    Very nice indeed!  This is the stuff I think most of us want.  Seriously,  it really immerses you into the gameplay so that you feel like  part of a team.  Can't wait for this one. 

  14. Here is what I did and it worked for me:

    Make sure you install the NEW Script Hook V  here http://www.dev-c.com/gtav/scripthookv/

    Then Download Install RPH 0.29  if you have to just reinstall it again.

    right Click RagePlugin Hook and Run as admin.  It will do a pop up say yes,  it will ask if you want Rage Hook to allow certain things to pass through Firewall.  Say Yes HOLD DOWN SHIFT.  wait about 15 seconds with SHIFT held down.  When menu appears to go Plugin menu tab,  Tick off Load All Plugins.  Now some of the Plugins will not work (Arrest manager, or Traffic Policer)  I went ahead and loaded them anways.  Everything loaded fine without a problem, but Albo had a message that his mods will not work until he updates.  I was able to play smoothly no problems at all.  I cal pull over people, Arrest etc.  Just can't call for pick up etc.
