  1. billiarboy,

Just go through Open IV program.  The pathway to get to this is   Grand Theft Auto V\mods\x64e.rpf\models\cdimages\componentpeds_s_m_y.rpf

Make sure you use a mods folder when you install.  That way you do not mess up your game.  Open IV is very unforgiving and I have had to reinstall countless times in the past. .  If you are unfamiliar with Open IV,  there are tutorials on how to use it.

  2. Not sure I would tell the people that download this to just go to:   Grand Theft Auto V\x64e.rpf\

So here is the correct pathway Grand Theft Auto V\mods\x64e.rpf\models\cdimages\componentpeds_s_m_y.rpf\  (INSTALL FILES HERE)

Also encourage people to use the 'mods' folder for safety

I think a lot of the modding community are forgetting we have new people here that need help with correct pathways.  Surprised that no one bothered to even mention this in the reviews

This might be a stupid question but which model name is this? Like if im using a trainer which name am i looking for?

That is not a stupid question bro.  This is how we learn,  all together.  I guess it depends on what you use as a trainer.   Currently I am using Simple Trainer https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/simple-trainer-for-gtav   Its a very nice trainer and a lot of people use it.  Simply go to Model Spawning,  then to either Body Guard or Ped just depends.   Look under the U section and you will look for u_m_m_doa_01  ,    the cool part about this trainer and I am sure other trainers do this as well,  you can go to the Body Guard section for example and select the clothes menu and you can keep hat, remove it, put glasses on, give them weapons etc.

Hope this helps.  As far as spawning it by model name?  You could try u_m_m_doa_o1  see if that works,  otherwise use my steps.

@OfficerBenzo there's an update coming soon that fixes the performance issues along with other new features, you should have waited few days before posting the review :teehee:

Ahhhh dang sorry man.  I had never reviewed it and used it off and on.  All good.  Definitely deserves the 5 star mark it was just the performance thing which I am sure you are working on.

  5. One last thing that I think several people are having issues with.   In the video here it shows the Wig Wag lights at night and the tail lights are fully lit.  However,  once me and several others install this -  the break lights are off at night.  The Wig Wag lights come on but there are no break lights.  I checked several vehicle models and its the same.  Is it a settings thing?  Or perhaps a glitch?

*This may be more of a question for Fenix

  6. Slight confusion here.  In the Readme it says

Make sure you have Wigwagfix.dll in your scripts folder.

However, if I get the Wigwagfix.dll  it says it needs to go into the Plugins folder.   Does this need to go into a script folder like your Readme?  Perhaps the other Wigwagfix needs to mention a scripts folder?

  7. kcoynejr -   As mentioned in his description in Open IV -

    OpenIV and go to x64>audio>sfx>Resident.rpf

Right click on vehicles.awc and click export to open formats

Now before you do this,  create a folder on your desktop labeled whatever you want.  I chose "New Siren".   Personally I made a Mods folder with Open IV and I would suggest you do the same so it doesn't corrupt your game.   Now go to Resident.rpf and double click and get to vehicles.awc.  Right click vehicles.awc and click on export to open formats.  Go to your new folder "New siren" and click 'select folder'.  It will export a folder called vehicles and another file called vehicles.oac.   Now take that Zip Folder that you downloaded with this Mod here.  Personally I could not get "Way Louder" or "Even Louder" files to work, I would get into the game and it was muted out.   So just by chance because I wanted to make sure that I could at least hear the siren I chose "If there is no siren sound"  take those to wav files and navigate to  your new folder "New Siren".  Throw those to files inside the vehicles folder and it should ask to overwrite.  Say Yes (Once again ONLY IF YOU ARE USING A MODS FOLDER)  if you do not use a mods folder at least save a back up.   Now here is the easy part that many people overlook.   You are almost done.   Simply go to Open IV again,  make sure you go into Edit mode.  Right click anywhere in the white area inside the Open IV.  Click on Import Openformats.  Navigate to your folder again "New Siren" select vehicles.oac click open and then OK.   It will import that folder vehicles.

    Hope this helped.

No the siren itself its fantastic but I want to get the optional horn working. It took me a while to figure out how to put the optional horn file in the oac. or whatever (I am shit with computers). Once I got it in there the file size moved to 15.9 which makes all sirens mute. (file size has to be less than 15.7)

EDIT -  Ok I feel stupid typing all of that out for you without truly reading what you meant.  I did not even notice the optional horn thing you were really meaning.  Personally I kinda like the loud ass annoying horn,  but the optional one I am sure is fine as well.  Sorry for all the typing.  Hope any of this helps.

    Havent heard anything back?

I did the easy install and added the optional horn but still can not keep the file size below 15.7.

    HELP

Are you just looking to get this to work?  I can probably assist you with this.  I ended up with going with the folder If theres no siren sound.   I can type out clearer instructions if you want.  I was worried it would not be loud enough but its not bad.

You gotta add Thehurk's F-350 to this pack!!

Agreed with FirstThirtyMinutes -  Hey FTM can you PM if you ever have time.  Have a question for you man.  I know you get a lot of PM's and I would hate to overwhelm your inbox ;)

  10. I am fairly certain that it may be  your callout package that has a lot of mispellings.  I could be wrong but fairly sure I have seen misspellings throughout several callouts.  Is it this callout package that mentions "a stolen donus"  ?    Or where you question a murder scene?  Just was curious,  maybe English is not your first language.
