  1. @Mage25 - What'cha thinking about updating? Ideas? Share! SAM did a great job with this in the first place...got me curious what YOU would change.
  2. Yeah man, that was what I was thinking also. I just could not for the life of me remember what the hell it was called. Link: http://www.gtagarage.com/mods/show.php?id=11213
  3. Does this linky help? http://www.gta4-mods.com/script/npc-vehicle-detection-f13605 It did the trick for me when I tried it. The only issue I found was that cars completely stopped behind my patrol car. They waited until I moved completely before they would move, most would not even attempt to go around until my lights were off and I moved from the roadway. Good luck! (This mod is not mine. I am NOT affiliated in anyway with it. :) Description: NPC Vehicle Detection // - 2.0 Do you roleplay? Do you like playing First Response? Bus Mod? Taxi Mod? Or do you simply like stopping at traffic lights? THEN THIS IS THE SCRIPT FOR YOU. Are you sick of cars ramming you up the arse? Vehicles can still ram you accidentally, But are less likely. When a vehicle is behind you, and they start to take off this little script stops them from accelerating. So you won't have anymore stupid NPC pushing your vehicle or trying to move around you. Installation - 1. Extract VehicleDetection.rar 2. Place scripthook.dll into your Main GTA IV folder 3. Either place the scripts folder into your GTA IV folder, or copy Vehicledetection.vb into your own scripts folder. Tested and working on 1.0.7.0 Backup your old scripthook before installing. Replaces: Nothing
  4. spd6 - I PM'ED you the Key list. The link on the homepage for downloads is not working correctly.
  5. Guys promise me this will not be abandoned when (someday) GTA V is released!!!
  6. WOW, thank you everyone for the input! Great, now I have been bitten by the "Get a NEW mouse" bug...thanks a lot guys! Seriously, I appreciate all of the input from you guys. Looks like "q", the Numpad, and in the future a new mouse are in the mix. Next is going through the endless tutorials on texturing and adding lightbars etc. Thanks again all! Scott (Wanna-be GTA IV master in training!)
  7. Really? When I press 'V' it changes the camera view for me. It gives a close up from behind and also lowers the camera angle and a few other things,,,,
  8. Are there any calls for MVA's in the LCPDFR mod? Or am I confusing that with that other PD mod? (Team Neo) Thanks guys! Scott
  9. okay man, I see that. Doesn't that conflict with the "V" camera control? Nevertheless, I like the numpad idea! Thank you!
  10. Damn it, man! I'm sorry for posting this incorrectly! I truly don't intend on causing you admin's extra work. Sorry for that. I will verify my posting sections better next time. I feel dumb!
  11. Thank you guys for the QUICK responses! wmai20 - I like the "Q" idea for sure! theninja35- Do you mean the primary numbers, or do you mean the Numpad? Numpad makes sense to avoid conflicts? Thank you guys!
  12. GREAT MOD! Quick question: Does this enable AI vehicles to display turn signals as well? Or is it just for MY vehicles I am driving? THANKS!
  13. Hey guys, I'm having a little bit of a key binding conflict here. My ELS is conflicting with my LCPDFR & my GTA IV default keys. Any quick thoughts on some 'unused' keys I can assign to ELS? Anyone mind sharing with me their keys bindings? Or any unused keys you guys are aware of I can change in the .ini files? I already have SNT keys disabled to solve part of the issues. THANK YOU ALL! -Scott
  14. Dude, I have the same EXACT E6600 Mobo, 8 GB Ram, and the GeForce 550 TI 1 GB, same Windows as you, and mine runs GREAT! I just got the GeForce and I LOVE it! Don't get me wrong, things could be more high-end here, but, this all runs just fine. You won't be disappointed with that graphics card! Good luck! Scott
  15. Sorry guys, I am unable to see anything other than 3 posts here. I'm having the same EXACT issue with Simple Native Trainer. Stormoffires, which files did you delete to fix your issues? Was the solution to your conflict simply deleting those files? Thank you! Scott
