  1. What about the EVGA GeForce GT 740 4GB GDDR5? I don't have several hundreds to spend or save up, just looking for something simple because I'm on the lowest settings and low FPS.

Both of those cards are very old. There's no point in getting them. Your best bet is getting a GTX 750 Ti Boost. I actually have one lying around, PM me if you are interested but those two cards are very weak. You won't see that much of a performance boost.

  2. calm youself we don't need to send people in a panic and start demanding mods  not even 2 days yet

I made a topic telling people to clam dowwn and relax

NTa/s cracked the decrypted the game files go thank him

Okay? You posted it 22 minutes ago. I posted this 22 minutes ago. Yours wasn't up yet when I posted mine. And like I said, I am calm. Some people don't know and I'm just saying the news.

  3. need HELP!! game is blurry! and i installed the mod but it will not work, also when i installed other mods it made it not work at all had to go back to default, then reinstall lcpdfr and it will not start when i push alt p?.....

also it will not let me start a new topic

Firstly, the blur is because of a graphic option. If you press P, it enables definition which makes it blur. Its also in the graphic settings beside Vsync. Just press P to turn it off again. As for LCPDFR not starting, could you send the scripthook.txt file in the GTA main directory? Thanks.

  4. sorry for the late response had to reorder the parts and have been working alot, im almost using the same build as my friend and he has had no problems arise, so its been well proven with him so thats why i went with it, but i already bought the parts now, should be in this week, but i appreciate  all the insight if i have problems ill go with Gigabyte and ill let you know if anything comes up, and this is the link http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&DEPA=0&Order=BESTMATCH&Description=EVGA+04G-P4-2978-KR+GeForce+GTX+970+4GB+256-Bit+GDDR5+PCI+Express+3.0+x16+SLI+Support+FTW+ACX+2.0+Video+Card&N=-1&isNodeId=1

also does anyone know of a good full tutorial video on how to install all the different mods for the game?

Its fine :) It shouldn't have any issues but Newegg has a decent return policy so if it does come with issues, you can get a RMA. Great build, hope you enjoy it. If you need help installing any mods, just message me and I'll walk you through it.

  5. One correction here, while some 970 models have had the problem in the past, I believe it was fixed recently and is working as intended.

    Reworded everything.

I am basing this on what other consumers like me have reported. Let me rephrase myself. I just recommend not going for the EVGA version as there have been SOME cases of sever coil whine while other brands have less reports about this happening to, for example ASUS or Gigabyte. This problem still is popping up, rarely but still happens. There are 2 versions which the newer one has it fixed but the old one still might have that small possibility of having coil whine. EVGA is a very reputable brand with great products, don't get me wrong there but I'm just stating what others have experienced. You may or may not get a dud.

    from two weeks ago-

    http://forums.evga.com/Plagued-with-coil-whine-on-every-EVGA-GeForce-GTX-970-I-am-starting-to-get-mad-here-m2304663.aspx

*Once again, this is only my thoughts and in no way am I hating on EVGA or any brand. Just after what I have researched and seen as I often build PC's for friends. Theninja may be right that they may have fixed the issue but there are still whine issues being reported. Apologizes if I didn't make it clear in the beginning.

    Good day kind Sir :)

  6. Looks like a solid build. One things I would change is first, I would grab the Gigabyte G1 Gaming because the EVGA version of the 970 is known to have coil whine and also the thermal paste not touching all the pipes. That's really up to you but the G1 performs better, better cooling and is easier to overclock so if you could switch that, it'll be slightly better. I recommend AVG as it's so easy to use and detects threats much better than other versions.

*this is really only imo but that mobo colour is kinda errrrrrrugfghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhggggggggggggggggggggggggg*
