Apparently he went in in "full combat gear" and was killed after a pursuit with police. Seems ironic that in a state like Texas this could happen.

I'm sure tomorrow some politician will be saying, "That's the price we pay for our freedom".

In one of the most armed states in the nation, the "good guys with guns" everyone talks about still didn't stop this. It's time for people to drop the act and face the facts. This is a state that doesn't require you to register a gun. The only permit to carry you need is with a pistol, which means you could take an AR and buy it without registering, and carry it around with no restrictions. It's so unbelievably gross.

Trump's response to this will proabably be "it was a very sick individual" and when it comes to gun control "when the time is right."

FFS! When it is a "terrorist" he can't get on Twitter quick enough!

Unfortunately, he is not alone in that sentiment. The sentiment that as soon as someone Muslim does something, all Muslims need to be banned, but nothing should be done about guns is a long and widely held belief by a lot of Americans.

It's saddening and sickening that people's lives are lost because of an inability for politicians and for the common people to stand up and stop the "American Carnage" as our president so gracefully puts it.

  3. People just seem to not care anymore. An attack by someone with a possible tie with Islam is investigated and on the news for weeks, a simple mass shooting is out of the news cycle in two or three days. Las Vegas was literally talked about for a week and then it was gone. Nothing ever changes, it's always "too soon".

What people don't realize is that it's actually too late.  It's despicable.

Scripting it would just have potential for crashing issues. Actual file edits don't rely on outside programs for anything and almost always work flawlessly (As long as you know what you're doing). Ntm, it's just a file drag and drop. Takes no more than 20 seconds to navigate and drop.

Understandable, but there is a certain amount of depth you can achieve in scripting over data files (at least in GTA), and those scripts would work better implemented directly into the main mod, rather than a random ragehook script layered on top.

OK.It must not be the graphics card. Must be a car then or ped. Been using the same computer for just about a year with no problem.

    Thanks

To add to what Lundy said, it's totally possible it's your graphics card or some other component on your PC. Parts do degrade over time.

If you can turn down your settings, and the problems no longer happen, it's a good bet it's your PC.

The Ford Fusion Hybrid Police Responder sedan may be good for very liberal cities like New York City and Los Angeles that want to drink the Democrat Party's Kool-Aid, but I doubt the cops will like those very much. The F150 Police Package is something I do agree with, I believe that goes on sale next year.

The future of the Taurus is in the air. It may be discontinued, according to recent articles. Sales keep going down. I imagine they may still produce it for fleet only in the near future, like the Vic was fleet only 2007-2011.

Fairly certain the Ford Fusion Responder was made specifically for cities already using the hybrid vehicles (Like NYPD since around '09) but aren't pursuit rated. Less to do with "drinking the Democrat[ic] party's Kool-aid" and more to do with reaching a new market and providing for said market. Plus, they are fuel efficient which I am sure saves departments as large as NYPD loads of cash. I don't know about you, but I haven't really seen a lot of cops upset about what car they are driving, in fact I doubt most of them know the differences between an explorer and an FPIU.

I doubt the Taurus will continue, the FPIU is just a superior car. Doesn't make sense for a department to use both. The F150 is good in concept, but it seems impractical for any department with a population larger than 100. Other than being a special use vehicle I don't see it becoming any more popular than it is already.

I'd say the fact that they're extremist is enough to either put them on watch or conduct a thorough investigation.

But what are the guidelines for labeling someone an extremist? And where is the line? Should we start loc

king up Christians who preach on the corner yelling about how soldiers are going to hell? Are they extremists?

You can't pool all these people together and throw them in jail for a "suspected extremism". You also can't have spies watching all these people all the time.

Care to elaborate on how including extremists on a terror watch list is an invasion of privacy?

Because they are suspected extremists. Imagine if the standard for being an extremist in any other religion was so low. How many Christians, Hassidic Jews, devout Buddhists, Hinduists would be placed on a list. All those groups (With maybe the exception of Buddhists) have killed people.

The real problem is that once you just allow the government to pick and choose who is an extremist and who isn't, the second a new administration comes in they could easily target a religious or political group without evidence.

They are extremists. Not innocent. They have either returned from syria, planning to go, sympathising with isis, sharing isis beliefs, or planning an attack.

And you know this how? Are you part of MI5 or MI6? Many of them aren't even under active investigation. They may have simply been suspected for opening an obscure twitter link and then been moved to the closed investigation category that the Manchester bomber was open. The criteria for extremist under MI5 is not public information so we really have no idea.

I think our one is, our one doesn't give justice to anyone, at least your one does. Hell, a prison just gave every cell a mobile phone and a computer.

It isn't "justice" when a full 1%(2,200,000 in jail and over 4 million on probation and parole) of the adults in your country are locked up, and there is blatant racism in that system, with Latinos and Blacks being locked up for petty drug offenses even though white people are more likely to be carrying those drugs (politifact source).

    General Address:

"On Friday security sources confirmed a further 20,000 individuals were said to have been considered “subjects of interest” in the past, although the period the figures cover is unclear." - The Independent.

Now, you might say, "Well the Manchester attacker was part of this 'past' list." This is true, but what many have failed to mention is that 13 attacks were foiled in the past year. It really comes down to the fact that you can't lock up people who you "think" are bad guys. Once you do that, democracy follows suit and goes down the tubes.

Why they don't just lock up the 23,000 jihadis living in the UK is beyond me.

Take it from an American: locking up people in the prisons does nothing but cause more problems with the justice system, private prisons, etc. If they try and lock all of these suspects up without evidence, your legal system will become more fucked up than ours.
