I love this pack but I have a handling issue... How do I fix this I dont see the file to fix the meta.....

Hey there. You'll need to go into your Open IV application and pull the vehicle meta file out. Once there and opened in notepad or whatever you want to use to edit it, Ctrl+F to find the slot you want to edit and then edit the handling line of said slot. You can use the search function in Open IV to find the meta file.

I decided to check for every model in this pack and seems like only cars that don't give me this problem is the Charger and DUI Tahoe. Does that help?

Hey sorry, been away a few days. I have not been able to reproduce the problem in my game (I am using Ultimate Backup) as all the rear doors seem to open normally.

    Where's the 2020 Fpiu template?

Did you make these models yourself or take them from somebody else?

The 2020 FPIU template is in the file under the regular 2016. Seems it wound up there by accident. You can look at the credits for where base models came from.

Looking through it, I noticed that there are 6 vehicle models and only 5 ELS files. It appears the Charger and the 21 FPIU are both named as Police2, and there is only one Police2 ELS file. I might just be stupid, but I noticed it. Apart from that the pack is extremely detailed and wonderful, and I think it's safe to say I have finally found an LSPD pack that I am not gonna get rid of anytime soon.

Reason is you can use it for either vehicle. Thanks for checking it out and the kind words!

Love it! I'll be waiting for more. Is there anything planned for possible future updates?

One little bug report: Couldn't open rear door for one of FPIUs to put in the detainee. Can't tell if it's happening with other vehicles. I used native LSPDFR detain function. Had this happen just once before with different mod where using StopThePed fixed it just fine so I don't know if it's even a problem on model's end or mine, but might be worth checking out.

That is an odd bug that I hadn't noticed but I'll check it out when I can. I use stop the ped over the native detain function so maybe that is it?

  4. Looks great! Would recommend editing the 2016 FPIU skins. On the template there is a box that says "keep black" that will make the door pillars (in between the windows) black instead of white as they should be. You should do this to the 2016 FPIS as well, it will make both cars look much more accurate. I know you didn't make the skins but just open them on top of the  template in paint.net and photoshop and draw a black box where it says keep black.

Expedition definalely coming in the future. As for more lighting this was made based off a tahoe exactly like this irl. I will link the video in the description.

I know the lighting is based off the video, but the rl visor lights are actually different than the ones in the model, making the yours look oversized. Would recommend editing the avengers (the lights on your model) to look more like Viper S2s or replacing them with an inner edge, it won't be exact but it will look more correctly scaled.

@thegreathah if you don't mind me asking where did you get your dev parts and vehicles models from? thanks

I get pretty much everything from:

    moddingforum.com

    gta-mod-center.com

    or the lcpdfr DEV section.

Other than that, some things are privately shared by groups that I am a part of (But those are a very small minority of parts I use)

Is there anyway to reduce the size of the explorer? I know its the model itself but it is so damn big compared to the other explorer model. Also are you going to address any of the issues in your Venice police pack?

The model I released in this pack is actually downscaled from the original dev model. I may address some issues, but not for a while.

Is there any better handling line to use with the FPIU besides Police3? Even with that handling line the Explorer easily flips on turns.

I’ve heard Gresley is a good line as well. In all honesty you’ll just have to drive more carefully or let the AI drive (I haven’t seen them have trouble with the police 3 handling)

  8. @LSPD1743If you read it correctly, it actually says, in BIG RED LETTERS, "** YOU DO HAVE PERMISSION TO CHANGE THE SKIN OF THE CAR **

The only thing you don't have permission for is re-uploading the file with a new skin and claiming it's yours (which is also just a general lcpdfr.com guideline). No reason to call him a dick for protecting his creations, and rightfully so.

Great a another one pack that I can't seem to install because it's not OIV installer please make this way then I can install this awesome pack please thanks

It's not difficult to install something non- OIV. It's a simple drag-drop. OIV actually makes things annoying to install because it predetermines what slots and what folders it is installing to, which takes away a lot of the customizability.

Yes, Natural Vision had dim lights so installed Radiance V Lights were Bright in the other modded police vehickes but yours.

Plus red lights were amber so I'm uninstalling NVR right know and installing Visual V + Radiance V only.

    BTW, Thx for instant response

Yeah. Oddly enough at certain times during the day cycle with NVR it washes all my lights out. Really annoying issue.
