  1. I often like parking in order to watch the streets or an intersection and it makes sense to me to cut the engine off since we have the option to do it. Except that it also shuts down the (no longer) constant radio chatter.

    Is it possible in a future update to unbind both features so that we can hear the radio as long as we are inside the vehicle even with our engine off?

  2. I think that the issue with these deadly reinforcements is that they totally ignore the other cops and only target you. So you can get in cover behind your car or any place and there is nothing much to do but wait for backups to kill them because the second you pop your head out of cover you are dead.

  3. As far as I know RPH 0.24 causes several issues. I still updated to 0.22 some time ago (kinda forced to it since everyone updated their plugin for 0.22) but yeah honestly I believe that this is a case where the various modders should only support the version of RPH that comes with LSPDFR and if people want to update to the newest version of RPH that's their own problem.

    Newest updates are not always for the best (you can see this many times with driver updates). If things are working fine with 0.20 there is no need to get a newer version till LSPDFR supports it.

  4. Did the person run over an officer? If so other officers will go lethal.

    It's quite annoying but officers shooting people running them over also happens outside of the mod in GTA so this is the "normal" behaviour of officers in the game, this is quite a different issue here. As I said I had several instances where I had backup during a pursuit on foot and none of the cops was trying to kill the suspect but the second I handcuffed the person they opened fire.

    I don't know if this an hostile flag that is removed when they are arrested and that is active again once cuffed or if cuffing just puts an hostile flag on them. I just know that it happens way often, especially during pursuits on foot (probably because this is when I mostly call for backups since it is impossible to catch up on these olympic sprinters).

    As a side note, this is happening with every cop not just the state police officers who are more trigger happy.

  5. For a time I thought it was a few callouts at fault, something like suspects not being acknowledged as arrested in the code but this is also happening with random peds outside callouts. A traffic stop that ends with a pursuit: you call some backup, you PIT the vehicle, you arrest the suspect and most of times cops will shoot at him/her...

  6. Especially since R* banned anyone involved with the project, even those who just ran a forum or issue tracker and never touched code at all. And R* is lying about "cheating in GTAO" to justify it now.

    That's the reason why I am fine with LSPDFR being Story Mode only. I still play Online regularly and it is nice not to worry about it because this mod doesn't modify any file and won't get you any red flag when you go online.

  7. Am I the only one or this issue is becoming more and more frequent? I am now very reluctant to call for backups because most of times they will shoot suspects when you arrest them. They don't even want to shoot them before but the second you cuff them they open fire, it's like cuffing suspects puts an hostile flag on them.

    I have noticed this several times. Not long ago during a pursuit on foot with a couple of other cops for instance, they never tried to shoot the suspect, they even had their tazer ready. As soon as I cuffer her, they opened fire and killer her.

This is getting annoying to the point where I don't bother anymore and just shoot anyone in the legs (to hell RP when the situation is ridiculous to begin with), actually even fatties can run as fast as any other suspects and it is impossible to catch up. A bunch of trained officers who can't catch up on a fat guy?

    In the end the only suspects running slower than us are women and the few old people.

  9. Hi! I am not sure if this is better suited to the support forum or general discussions...

    Is there a way to remove a weapon from the wheel? I know we can add weapons through the console but I can't find a way to get rid of them. When you are on patrol for a while, even if you do your best not to pick up weapons on the ground you still end up as a moving Ammunation and that's pretty annoying to me when I want to quickly access a specific weapon (the limited choice that we get by default, pistol, tazer, shotgun is just what suits me).

  10. Albo's new plugin Traffic Policer allows you to go in front of a car you've signalled and press T to have them follow you to a better location

    I love his mod, the ambient events and his callouts are great, but I tried this new option once and I knew it wouldn't do it for me.

    I, for one, try to RP as much as possible so parking ahead of the suspect just doesn't feel right to me. And secondly the only time I tried this option my suspect was a runner... that means he rammed into my vehicle (which is the reason why you park behind), so it felt even less right.

    I will patiently wait for an improvement of the AI so that they know how to pull all the way to the right.

  11. Hi. I was wondering something about this file.

    Yesterday I had LSPDFR crash on me. I used UnloadAllPlugins to make sure it would be a "clean" restart (well that can't be as clean as restarting the game), I have reloaded LSPDFR which took care of all the other plugins that the mod can manage (callouts and stuffs like PoliceRadio).

    Then I was left with the plugins that you have to load on your own (I use startup.rphs to take care of that). So as you type LoadPlugin you obtain the list of the available plugins that you can start. And this is where LMS.Common.dll appears. Am I supposed to load it? Because it seems it is not loaded in the first place since it is not in the default startup.rphs. I haven't launched it and it seemed to work just fine (though I went back on duty the regular way by going to a station instead of Jump + F9 in case it makes a difference).

    Is this file still used (like an invisible call)? Am I supposed to load it in case LSPDFR crashes?

    I think its a part of PoliceToolbox.

    If no mistake it belongs to Code 3 Callouts (great callouts, honestly). The Unknown Trouble scenario has many variations (basically you don't know what you will find when arriving on scene), one of them is a dead body and you are prompted to call for a detective. You don't need any other mod, it is part of the callout.

  13. Do you have Cops/Everyone Ignore Player set on? If so, turn those off.

    What is this please? I don't have the exact same problem than OP but it seems that requesting backups is hit or miss. I have to spam the requests to finally see some units show up like a few of them get lost on their way (and I don't seem to be the only one, I saw a few videos from Jeff Favignano where he was pesting about backups not showing up).

  14. Last night I kept getting a message from Steam asking if I wanted to update GTA5 (I guess because Steam was already running when they released the patch). Today I had no choice, Steam updated the game without my consent and I personally see various glitches that I wasn't seeing last night and I haven't installed anything new, I haven't updated anything else. For instance many peds glitched on me when I was trying to arrest them or holding E to get the interaction menu with peds was really an annoyance today, most of times I couldn't get it to work. Either I had a glitchy boot up of Rage / LSPDFR or they messed with something.

    So as always, if you can avoid their stupid updates, do so.

  15. everythime i arrest someone that is not on callout ,for example running after questioning,backup comes and shoot the suspect

    is there some code 4 to cancel the backup and tell everything is alright

    I was discussing this issue with someone regarding callouts but I guess it applies to any hostile suspect (especially those who opened fire) even outside callouts. Could it be a "simple" question of hostile flag on suspects that could be removed as soon as we cuff them?

  16. Just yesterday...

    Loaded story mode on Michael in front of Vinewood Police Station (the one I use most of time), decided I'd go on a sheriff patrol in Paleto Bay instead, teleported Michael to a waypoint next to the police station, went on duty and as I was leaving with my car I noticed that Michael was still in front of the police station.

    Started patrolling for maybe 10-15 minutes, responded to a callout (I think it was an unknown trouble from Code 3) which was a dead body on an offroad near the police station, called the detective as requested, after he showed up and investigated the crime I heard someone shooting at us with an automatic weapon! I got in cover behind my vehicle, the detective and I shot back to that person in the distance, for some reason it seemed I couldn't hit him, the detective quickly died as the unknown suspect was getting closer and I was still unable to hit him. Since he wasn't going after me I left my cover to approach him and realized... that it was Michael!

    I guess the officer drove close to him or maybe even hit him, it also kinda makes sense why I couldn't hit him and why he was ignoring me, we are probably like the same entity.

  17. It seems that peds are even not affected by the terrain. I just had a pursuit ending on the beach and along the ocean. As you get close to the water it becomes muddy and it greatly slows you down. The suspect was flying like nothing while I was struggling to advance.

  18. Is it possible either to have a slight boost to our running speed or nerf the suspects' speed a little bit? If your suspect is not a fatty, there's no point running after him/her because in the best case you have the same exact speed, and this is easily 95% of the pursuits on foot (the remaining 5% being the fat lady, the old fart and the idiot running into a speeding car). I have even seen a couple of cops running faster than me, this is how bad it is... I don't know if our officer has his own stat or if they are based on the character we used to go on duty but if this is the latter my stats are maxed on each character so it shouldn't be an issue. And if we have our own stats then these officers suck or every single suspect is an olympic sprinter.

    Backups are next to useless since they always stop their car behind the suspect and then start the chase on foot from behind (it would greatly help if they could be smarter and at least stop ahead of the suspect). Just for kicks I spammed backups - like 20 units - and you just end up with a herd of cops running behind the suspect.

    At this point as soon as I see that I won't catch up I get back to my vehicle... which defeats the purpose of a pursuit on foot. And from what I see from people on YT it seems that I am not the only one who doesn't bother anymore running after a suspect. If I am alone I gently knock them off, if I have backups I just force the suspects to run into the officers. In both cases this is not really satisfying when you want a real pursuit on foot.

    I am not asking for an easy button, we don't have to be twice faster, heck a few suspects could still outrun us, but it shouldn't be the vast majority of them, the way it is right now.

    That would be great! Please.

  19. Arrest without having to draw a weapon like LCPDFR 1.0

    Its not a biggie but it can feel weird drawing a gun on someone when arresting them for a minor crime.

    I would go even further: the ability to transport someone without arresting the person.

    Like transporting a witness to the police station after a callout. Or sometimes the assault scenario from Code 3 callouts where I have no element to procede with an arrest but I'd gladly transport the person that said to be assaulted to the station so that she can lodge a complaint.
