  1. Yeah. I also don't want the 2014 Robocop, because I really prefer the original. I've modeled the 86' Taurus and not the bike from the new film, so that's another reason. :P

If you also notice on that model that you linked, the blood mapping is not good and smears all over.

I don't know about the blood mapping, i don't think that is fixable. You said you converted the ped to san andreas?

  2. No there aren't. Police don't use them because it's very top heavy and horribly un-aerodynamic. It's also front wheel drive unless the all wheel drive system kicks in when the vehicle is sliding, which is horrible for cornering because the front wheels have to handle 262 horse power (which isn't much to propel such a huge vehicle) and also deal with the steering of something the size of a small boat.

Between this and your thread about the Ford Escape, you really seem to like ugly cars for some reason.

Haha, just feel like fords are the easiest to modify to police vehicles

  3. Hi LCPDFR,

Does anybody agree with me when i say that it would be awesome with a 2005 Ford escape iv IV?

Some pictures of how Ford Escapes in police service:

  4. To be honest, i don't even think there is a civilian version of a Ford Flex. i never heard of the car before googling it. However there is a few for GTA SA, so if someone gets permission, they could convert it. which will take a lot less time than scratch-modeling

im not looking to convert, just curious if there is a police version :p

  5. Hiya LCPDFR,

Am just wondering if anybody knows if there are any police versions of the ford flex?, i know there is a bait car in Canada or America but thats the only one i know about, if there are any can you redirect me to images of one?

    Thanks,

  6. B is probably the simplest option. Just note down the X, Y and Z values before and once you're done scaling change them back to the originals.

Or, you could drag everything out of the dummies and hide the dummies and then scale away and place everything back into the dummies once your scaling is done.

ok thanks!, it won't affect any other standard dummies too?

  7. Hi LCPDFR,

I just have a question which has been bothering me for a while. If i scaled a lightbar with its dummies do i need to scale the dummies to the original size? if i should can i:

    A. replace the dummies with the original ones? (is it just scaling then, or is there a simpler way?)

    B. Right click on the dummy, go to properties and change the "scale X, Scale Y and Scale Z"?

    Thanks,

  8. I'm not saying they won't work.. there is always the possibility of it not being compatible and causing issues with GTA. I just think it's ridiculous that someone paid $700 for 2 models that have possibility of not working.. and a modeler could've scratch made it for free.

    That i can agree with!

  9. I doubt anyone will convert these since you have to pay.. i really don't see anyone paying $350 for these models.

EDIT: i didn't see the part where you paid for them. it would've been a lot easier and a lot cheaper for someone to scratch-model these. why would you pay so much money for models that probably won't work in GTA 4?

Actually they are perfect for iv!, about 20000 poly's are only 10 more than the stock ones. Also it says they are "game optimised"
