There you go. That is a completed "carvariations" line for any car you want.
Simply change the name at the top to whatever vehicle it will be for and change the "sirensettings" near the bottom to your desired setting.
You are a life saver. :)

How can I go ahead and change the sirensettings for 'sheriff' to '1'? I checked Google and all I found was that I have to create my own 'line' for it but I'm not sure as like a base to go upon. Like how can I know which values to use for certain things like this:
<indices content="char_array"> 0 0 3 0 </indices>
I'm aware that all I have to change is the specific sirensettings value to 1 however I'm not sure what to do with the rest of the carvarations for sheriff. Thanks for any help. (Sorry if this was explained poorly, not really sure how else I can explain it)

Issue Resolved
-
So I've been having an issue where the flashing rear lights on my police vehicles look 'blotchy'. They seem like there's a shadow inside of the lights. This happens with all police vehicles I install with rear flashing lights, every carcols, every visualsettings and I'm not sure what the problem may be. I've tried reinstalling GTA V, changing my graphic settings around, and no luck.
I'm not sure as to exactly when it started happening, but it was around 2/3 weeks ago and I can't recall making any changes that could of caused this. (I'm aware that something I did obviously caused it but I don't know what)
Video of the issue: https://youtu.be/sW7fmlE1ArY // You can see in the video I change the weather, enable/disable snow etc and it still happens. It also appears worse in the evening/night instead of during the day.
I've tried literally everything I can think of to try to resolve this, I've researched the issue for days and I can't find anything. Please any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

In Captain14's Sheriff & FBI Pack there is rear white flashing lights which are insanely bright, how would I go about decreasing the brightness for the tail lights like you can see here in Jeff Favignano's video? : https://youtu.be/YuErAkAnTT8?t=14m40s
Thanks in advance to anybody that might be able to help. :)

When in a pursuit (Usually with more than 2 Suspects) I can arrest one fine and leave the AI to chase after the other one, but when they arrest the suspect LSPDFR crashes, but asoon as I restart my game it doesn't do it for that session. Not sure why this is happening, nor how to fix it. Even weirder is that it only happens with specific sessions, since restarting the game fixes the problem, but it's an inconvenience when you setup your vehicle, weapons, ped etc only to find out that LSPDFR is going to keep crashing until you restart GTA V, and it's really just irritating.
Plugins that I use: EUPMenu, KTFDO, SirenMastery, Spike Strips V, Traffic Control
LSPDFR Plugins that I use: AgencyCallouts, Arrest Manager, Assorted Callouts, Automatic Roadblocks, BetterEMS, Code 3 Callouts, CodeRedCallouts, ComputerPlus, ConchsCallouts, GangCallouts, LSPDFR+, PanicButton, PeterUCallouts, PoliceRadio, PursuitCallouts, SearchWarrant, SecondaryCallouts, Traffic Policer, Wilderness Callouts
Any help resolving this issue would be appreciated, thanks.

Funny thing is, I dont have SaferChases installed and I get something similar. With LSPDFR+ installed, I get stutters - not lags - while in pursuits. I have tried to fix it, but to no avail. What in the world could be causing this?
Computer is decent, i5 4460, GTX950, 8GB RAM
If you use ShadowPlay you can try disabling that whilst running GTA V, I found that caused a lot of stuttering, but it's more than likely just the game. Over the past few updates I've seen my FPS drop more and more and stuttering become a lot more frequent.
-
Before I started modding GTA V back like many many months ago I copied the GTA V directory, so I deleted my current GTA V directory and copied the clean one and then updated it through Steam, I then reinstalled EVERY plugin, leaving out the ones that aren't really needed and it seemed to have fixed the problem pretty much! I now get between 30-40 FPS in pursuits unless I'm calling in like 10 backup units then it gets relatively laggy. Another way to counter the SaferChases thing is to install LSPDFR+ since that now has a pursuit tactics menu which does what SaferChases does but with some extra options and it doesn't affect your FPS pretty much at all. Thanks for all the replies and support for the issue though, and for those still experiencing the problem I wish you luck in resolving it.

Sorry for no replies, have had some issues with my internet. I'll give it a go!
-
I guess we're both stumped? lol

Around 0.3, while running GTA V I have no other programmes running, so the only things running would be the NVIDIA stuff and microsoft stuff.. yes I have tried to reinstall, and I make backups of my game every few weeks so I have a clean install of GTA V. I don't use visual v, but I use a radiance mod which is up to date.
-
That didn't work either.. starting to give up with this game.
-
I tried out the supposed fix, it worked for about the first 5 minutes, then when we got into a pursuit within the city with one or two backup units (1 State Patrol [Bike] and 1 Local Patrol [Police1] the issue occured again, and when using my map it is extremly laggy and stutters like crazy, making the map near impossible to place waypoints on. I've removed the large majority of my plugins for LSPDFR and GTA 5, yet it continues to lag.
EDIT: I'm going to remove all the plugins from GTA 5 and LSPDFR and then attempt to re download them to see if maybe it's because I missed some plugin updates, because I know this happened before, but never to this extent.
-
Other games I play my FPS is fine, apart from ARMA 3 but you know that game is very CPU demanding.. games such as ARK, GTA 4, Mafia 2, or pretty much most games I can play with 30/40+ FPS. It's hard to believe it's a hardware issue, since it's just GTA 5.
-
I'm crossing this out of my PC being bad, because I've just lowered all my video settings as much as I can, yet I still get 30fps, if anything I get an extra 2/3 fps. This is actually rediculous..
-
It's strange, though. My friend has pretty much the EXACT same PC as me, running all very high settings, with 40+ FPS at all times, pursuits or not, and I'm not running very high on ANY of my video settings, and we're both using the same mods etc.. This is honestly very strange..
I'm going to try to remove AutoPursuitBackupDisabler, ClearTheWay, GTAComesAlive and see if it helps.
PS. I found that disabling ShadowPlay helped a ton, also if using Razor Cortex Booster I found it's only effective outside of the city, or it will drop FPS by atleast 5-10 frames

I have noticed the similiar issue however only in the city is where mine occurs and with normal traffic also. Have tried several things but no change. Running latest everything. Nvidia did a update and I'm wondering if that is what is causing the problem. Let me know if you have any success. Mine is a fresh install on a new drive. I don't recall it having the fps drops or millisecond pause while traffic flows before the Nvidia update and adding some mods in. Liveable but the other machine is running a older copy of the game and lspdfr with no issues.
What I was thinking and or a Nvidia patch that came out past week.
Yeah I mean I get a very noticeable FPS drop in the city (below 30) but when outside of the city I'm still only getting max 30/35fps, and when you're used to 50/60, it's definitely noticeable.. regarding the NVIDIA update, I think that's very possible since it just randomly started happening, but it couldn't of been too recently since I've had this happening for about a month or two now.
EDIT: Not 100% sure, but I do remember that before the LSPDFR 0.3.1 update I had perfect frames during pursuits, is it possible that something in this patch/update did something to pursuits? I'm aware that they added a lot more pursuit tactics etc in the 0.3 update, but I'm talking about 0.3.1
-
Ok thanks for the info, and I'll give it a go!
-
Ok will do, but how come this didn't happen before? When I first got GTA V and installed LSPDFR and all my cars and scripts etc I had perfect FPS during pursuits?
-
But still, any other time, even if I spam the backup buttons, I can still get ATLEAST 30 FPS.. yet pursuits just break my FPS entirely?
-
So from what I've experienced this only happens during pursuits, I don't have any pursuit plugins (IE: SaferChases) installed, but when engaging a pursuit inside of Los Santos or in the middle of no where, my FPS immediately drops to below 30 (Roughly 25 FPS) when I usually get 40-60 FPS (Give or take a few). I thought it was SaferChases so I uninstalled that, but nope, nothing different. I turned down the majority of my video settings (VSync, Shadows, Post FX, anything that really affects FPS) yet it still happens. This is pretty much making LSPDFR unplayable since the large majority of callouts/events that occur usually end up in pursuits.. I've been battling this for many weeks or even months now, and I've finally ran into a wall as to what else it could be or what I could do. I have no idea whether this is the mod itself, or my PC or what.
Thank you in advance to anybody that could assist me with this, it's started annoying me so much I've resorted to returning to GTA 4 and playing LCPDFR.. (Even though that's not much better FPS itself.. damn you GTA 4 with your unoptimization!)
My System Specs (Excuse me if I forgot something, I'm not amazing regarding all this fancy PC stuff haha) are as followed:
AMD FX(tm)-4300 Quad-Core Processor 3.80 GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960

Ah thanks a ton :)

So I've been trying to ignore it, but now it's really starting to annoy me, I'm using 2 british police vehicles by BritishGamer88 over at gta5mods.com, and on both the Essex Police Volvo and the Vauxhall Insignia, the light flare is a different color depending on which angle you view the light from.. Does anyone know of a fix for this? It only seems to occur when there are lights in that certain position on the vehicle.. In the vehicle showcase video, you can see that this issue doesn't occur though.. I'm stumped.. unfortunately I wasn't able to get a good screenshot, however the screenshot I provided below kind of shows the issue.. kinda..

Have you tried changing the window tint?
No I haven't, how do I do so? Also it can't just be that since the lightbar is also bugged

ELS Headlights
in GTA V & RPH Support
Posted · Edited by Space23432
Any reason as to why whenever I switch to lightstage 3 and exit my vehicle, my headlights would turn off? If I'm in the vehicle they stay on. Only occurs with lightstage 3, and in all ELS vehicles. Not a huge issue but the small things like that can be rather annoying. I don't see anybody else on YouTube having this issue, so I'm not quite sure why this could be.
Any response/help would be greatly appreciated. :)
