If LSPDFR crashes during a pursuit, which is rare but has happened multiple times to me, is there any way i can remove the blue and red pursit cirvcle that stays on the minimap after reloading the plugin? because the red suspect blip moves on and the pursuit circle doesn't, very frustrating and annoying to look at on minimap.
Thanks

can you do controller macros, with xinput tools? like ds4windows. because gtav accepts keyboard and conttroller at the same time
you cold remove the controller keybinds from gtav. and setup a macro on each button of the controller. then use that

Complete with working lightbar, sirens, and such which I will somehow tie in with actual game controls to turn them on at the same time!
Here is my main problem, Gta V will not accept controls from seperate keyboards.
I am using HID macros, and even with it setup, two it does not work in Gta V. I want to use two keyboards at one time, one as my main device, and the second as a console-esc type thing.
I would rather not buy a programmable keypad as that is just more money, but if its my only option I will.
Any suggestions guys???

can you release a preview at all? like just a brief description or a picture.

Hi,
So I'm a massve fan of the 'blacked out' look on marked police cars, and so far i have found blacked out versions of nearly everything (http://www.lcpdfr.com/files/file/8336-package-blackedout-all-units-blacked-out/) but I can't find versions of the police bike and maverick. Seeing as I don't have the skill to make them myself it'd be great if someone could do them for me?
For the police maverick it would be a case of changing the underlying coulour to black nd then changing the text on the tail and the bottom etc. to white
I'm not sure what you'd do with the police bike.
Thanks!
-
Yes. What I thought of was that you as a chopper pilot would press a key to have the chopper autopilot like the AI pursuit choppers, while you switch over to the LSPD chopper camera. With a spotlight that would be amazing.
that would be awesome!
-
Ah, so it's the one from "Eye in the Sky" mission?
si
-
Chopper Camera? Do you mean one that is shown in the mission "Minor Turbulence"?
Hidden Content
no like the one in the trevor mission, where he is co-pilot and uses flir cam to id someone
-
Yeah
alright, thanks anyway
-
okay, then i think it's because the criminals fire at the police the police will fire back until they are dead
oh I see, so it's hardcoded?

Your topic has been moved to LSPDFR Support & Information.
Please post in the correct location in the future.
oh, thanks, couldn't find this when I looked
-
make sure you have the latest version of LSPDFR (0.2b), just don't call swat on every chase callout normal backup usually does the trick
kidnapping / terrorist activity
is what i'm talking about
or armed suspects fleeing
not just normal chases
-
Hello, I know this isn't the right place to put this but I couldn't find the correct topic.
I have noticed recently a minor problem it goes like this:
1. get called for armed suspect/random suspect pulls a gun
2. call noose reinforcement and general backup
3. an officer (usually me) tazes the suspect and they surrender
4. the armed cops and other backup keep shooting the suspect even after they surrender
5.

-
I had the same issue a few days ago, I just completely deleted and reinstalled lspdfr
-
It seems that peds are even not affected by the terrain. I just had a pursuit ending on the beach and along the ocean. As you get close to the water it becomes muddy and it greatly slows you down. The suspect was flying like nothing while I was struggling to advance.
yeah, I have noticed this issue as well
I noticed too that this was a problem so I got the 'Native Trainer' and whenever I load LSPDFR, I be sure to enable 'Fast Running' and 'Unlimited Ability'. Now I actually run faster than the suspects and stamina never gets low. i know its cheating, but it is very helpful, and helps with the frustrations.
I can see why you'd do this but I feel it makes it too easy. I wish there was a halfway thing, because the fast running option in the trainer is too fast, but normal just gets frustrating.

Click the plus sign next to "Quote" on the posts you wish to quote.Nevermind that, I have to learn to read. If you press the "Quote" button twice, the post will show up twice in the editor. You can then strip each quote down to the pieces that you want.
awesome thank you so much
-
p.s: how the hell do you do the double quote thing? where you quote two bits from the same comment separately? (sorry, I'm new)
-
All I need is what color unmarked you want you can choose to make it a slick top when choosing your vehicle at the station.
oh great!
White would be nice, very plain. much like the unmarked cruisers the sheriffs sometimes drive. That or something really not policey, like orange, or bright pink :p
Thanks in advance!
-
Yeah. Like, if it's a gang member it could be more likely that he takes off on foot or steals a new vehicle. However, the chance shouldn't be that high because I personally wouldn't try and take off with a bunch of guns pointed at me.
This is a large community.

mhm, I noticed
.and yeah, agreed about the whole gang member/chance thing.
-
What really needs to be changed is the suspects' ability to pass slow moving vehicles on the road that don't move over such as buses and other large trucks.
About foot pursuits, perhaps the suspects should try to hide (take cover behind walls), but yes, it would be a good idea if sometimes they would try to hijack other vehicles. Except my police car.
yes, except the player car, I'm not quite sure why I didn't think about how annoying that could get.
In my opinion, when there's a shitload of cruisers around the suspect's wrecked vehicle, he shouldn't try and flee, but rather give up right away and kneel so the officers can slowly approach and put him into cuffs.
It would all be down to the suspect personality and data files. it's all integrated with the police computer and whether they're armed or just an old lady etc.
but to both you guys, thanks for the quick commenting! I really didn't think this would be seen

-
Sorry I don't have any pics, but I can't find any decent unmarked cars anywhere. so if you could do an unmarked one that'd be awesome! I know it might be quite hard because of all the differences to a normal cruiser (lack of lightbar, possibly no bullbar etc.)
Thanks in advance!
-
Firstly:
I have noticed that a lot of the time when I'm in a vehicle pursuit and the suspect's car is either stopped by the pursuing officers or crashes, the suspect leaves the vehicle and flees on foot, ignoring the many empty police cars and parked cars around them.
I think it would be awesome if instead of just fleeing on foot, some of the time the suspect(s) attempt to steal or hijack the cars around them, perhaps even splitting up, with one running on foot and the other attempting to steal a cruiser. And secondly, these are just general improvements: Things like if a criminal has a gun and is in close range, they try to melee you with it; and if a suspect in a vehicle is going to flee from a traffic stop, they try to run the officer down. just small things would really add to the experience.
What do you guys think? How viable in terms of coding/gameplay etc. would this be?Thanks!
