So first off I'd like to say that I run the game with a very stable 30 fps with everything on high (even shadows), on patch 1.0.4.0 on these specs:
Intel i5 3320m
8 GB RAM
Intel HD 4000 (if you don't believe me, it's okay)
Windows 7 x64.
But, that frame rate goes to crap whenever i'm in an area with a lot of trees. I know it might sound retarded but I get lag issues when I'm in an area with a lot of trees (like that park near Packie's house, or central park in Algonquin).
I think the problem might be that with all the leaves, the trees might have a lot of polygons and so in those areas, my computer is being bombarded with a lot of polygons. Is there anyway to remove trees or at least the leaves so I can still keep a stable frame rate in that area?
EDIT: My view and detail distance is at 15, vehicle density is at 30, and shadow density is at 0.
