  1. I know in Maryland, Prince George’s County officers can take their vehicles home. They can take the family in them, go shopping, use it like their personal vehicle. In DC they can take home their cruiser even if they live in Maryland or Virginia.  If an officer can use their cruiser as a personal vehicle, I don’t see why they would not be able to do the same with their personal. Only time I can see it might be an issue is the insurance coverage and the department not covering the officers vehicle if he was to use it to do police work.

  2. Yea I got it too, I felt like I got hacked for a min there. But in all seriousness I think this will always be a day we will never forget and should be observed accordingly, but I don’t think it’s a good idea to spam the game with every PED repeating the same thing until the game is almost unplayable. Just a thought. Besides that, it's a great gesture to our country, the families, and all of the men and women in uniform who gave their lives serving others that day.

  3. Please don't get it twisted. Don't mistake Obama or any actions from him, deemed weak or not perceived as being strong, with America's second to NONE military might. America is not the lone Super power of the world because of economics alone. Let's not put the cart before the horse here. Though I agree that America should not intervene in every issue around the globe, I do believe that sheer chaos such as the times of Hitler would have been/ and undoubtedly be happening now, in EVERY county without the checks and balances in place to hold accountable recklessness to the human race. Most counties do not have to worry about what America's leader will or will not do, because the American people would deal with him/her at the right time to correct any folly brought on from them. Now there are other things to consider along with this topic, but I digress.

  4. These files are part of the SA clan that I am in made by our lead Commissioner. I have actually filed the DMCA report already.

    Honestly, most request or demands for users NOT to steal, re-upload or re-distribute stand purely on the users own ethics when it comes to content of this nature.  We know not all people have ethics and have the ability to respect others hard work when downloading, but never the less, that’s the downside with shareware. Unless the maker of the content has copyrights filed with the government of the creator(s) country, a law suit would be a dead issue. It would cost far more to attempt to sue someone and/or pay a lawyer and fight someone about content of this size, than the actual “worth” content itself. That is unless the creator can prove its monetary value and /or profitability. Sorry for typing the book of john. Just food for thought.

  5. Yes, walk with them to the car and don't look away until the perp AND the cops get in the car and turn off the siren.  They will then drive off normally.

    EDIT: Actually, you don't have to escort them, just watch them until they get in the car and shut off the siren/lights.

    Yes, I do this sometimes, but If it's two suspects in the vehicle and only the driver has an issue and needs to be arrested, once transport comes, I would start to pull the other out the vehicle and thats when I turn away. I guess i will continue watching them until there all in the vehicle. Thanks for your response.

  6. This sounds like an xliveless file failure. When the file fails, GTAIV will make your player do wild uncontrollable things. Mostly things like this would happen to me when my game is not fully open for modifications, because for whatever reason the copy of xliveless used to make it modifiable fails to do so.  If you are using xliveless, try using a different copy of the file and see if that will stop it. It’s worth a shot. It works for me.

  7. That Stop is Default from GTA IV. It is not a LCPDFR AI Pull Over.

    Rockstar Games put that one in at that place as well as on a Bridge.

    Sergeatno!

    LCPDFR1.0 do have AI traffic stops. They are rare, but they do happen in game as I've made a thread about them asking if they could make them happen more often. The Al police officer speaks over the bull horn and says something like pull the car to the side of the road. You have to look quick and you will see the traffic stop take place. and NOT the hard coded two stops in GTAIV.

  8. Hello,

    crashes logged inside AdvancedHook are general GTA IV crashes we have no control over. While they can be random they can also be caused by models. So maybe removing one or all of your models might help.

    Hello LMS, Thanks for responding.  In the script hooks log, I see  weird spamming I'm getting.... refering to a char in the water and driving the wrong way? Any Idea what that is? I think this has something to do with the crashing I'm getting but not sure. Thanks.

  9. Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit

    AMD Athlon II X 4 640 Processor

    Also have 3 ELS Police vehicles, and Sam’s GTA V female and male police officers.

    Game runs smoothly for about 30mins or less.  Two days ago I played crash free for about 2 hours. Here are my Logs below;

    AdvancedHook.logAdvancedHookInit.logLCPDFR.logScriptHook.logScriptHookDotNet.log

    P.S  My game is paid for on Disc, I’ve been playing and loving this mod for a while now so yes I have all the proper Hooks and Windows updated frame works that I know  Ineseri  is going to ask me, if he see this post. :yes: Any help would be greatly appreciated.  LCPDFR for LIFE!

  10. With version 1.0b. Load up the diagnostics tool (GTAIV > LCPDFR > Diagnostic Tool) and click on the option "configure LCPDFR". You will see a checkbox on the left side somewhere to disable the action camera.

    If it crashes the tool, check the advanced mode box in the bottom left corner, you will then have to find your LCPDFR.ini file.

    LukeD thanks buddy...you always got my back when I have a question. :thumbsup:

    I believe they disabled it in the latest version 1.0b. Use that to get rid of the focusing on the event.

    >Here it is.

    Thanks for your help Jewish_Banana.

  11. I agree it would be a great script. For  your knowledge they do it in case the car gets hit in the back it goes into the street rather then you or into pedestrians on the side, it also provides cover from gunfire because of the engine block.

    Gunfire cover. Now I know this should be a good idea, because with those traffic stops where they just start shooting soon as you get the the window, this might have kept me alive a few times lol Thanks for the information about that AntEyeVirus!

  12. Funny thing happened that made me think of this thread.  A spontaneous, high speed, multiple vehicle accident.  I think it was a PH related event.

    Was sitting on the side of Middle Park Dr clocking speeders (smoke and coffee break!), and this cab comes hauling past me at 60mph, so I try to catch up and pull over the speeder.  He wasn't running or anything, just going very fast and kinda reckless driving.

    As I'm trying to roll up on the taxi, he was still a half a block in front of me when I see him fly through an intersection (was a red light for him) and plows into several cars, deflects off one and ends up smacking into the side of a building.  He dies at the scene, instantly.  The other cars also had fatalities and all cars were pretty well damaged as well.  Nothing to do but call the coroner and medics.

    Never really had seen this happen before like this, so thought appropriate.  Not exactly a scripted moment, but an interesting, spontaneous, true MVA incident.

    DrDetroit

    Yes I have that happen a lot. Chances are it was a reckless driver event or random drunk driver event. When it happens to me, I chase down the driver, even though he isn't running from me, only to find out he is drunk once he gets out. Most of the time, if you can get close enough while his driving to pull him over, he will stop. But you're right....I've seen many fatalities when this has happened. lol

  13. It would indeed be nice. The reason they turn their wheels is that when someone drives into the back of the cruiser, it will go in the direction the wheels are pointing to, usually away from the vehicle pulled over or whatever incident the cruiser might be at.

    Oh nicee! Thanks for that information, because I've always wondered why, but that makes a lot of sense!

  14. Hey guys…..I have another idea/request/suggestion that I think would look nice and make the traffic stop experience nicer. I'm really big on detail, even small ones, so this might be silly to some, but it's just something I think would really work. It took a while for someone to come up with a brake light script, but it was worth the wait. I'm wondering if we could somehow come up with a simple front wheel turning while parked script. Like when I see police vehicle during a traffic stop put his car at an angle and the wheels are turned (not sure why they do this). The script could have a simple on/off button and when on, it turns the front wheels in either direction. Also when it’s on, we can choose the direction. Just a thought. Like I said... it might be too small potatoes for some, but I just thought it would be really cool. What do you guys think?

  15.

    Those traffic stops are awesome, I agree.

    Perhaps adjust these lines in the LCPDFR config file

    AmbientScenariosMaximum=2
    AmbientScenariosMultiplier=250

    The AI traffic stops come under ambient scenario I think.
    As for the AI assisting you, that's a little difficult with the GTA IV AI being hardcoded in. Maybe it's possible though I don't know. We'll see :)

    Ok , Thanks LukeD! I will give it a shot and see if that does anything, because I have to say it again....the traffic stops are so badazz! I would LOVE to be able to see more of them around town on the norm. You know how bad the drivers are in GTAIV, so it would only be right to see more.lol ;)

    It has been suggested before, and it would likely just result in the backup squad car smashing you from behind, or doing something silly.

    How about the rest? More AI pullovers around town that you can pull up too and assist?

  16. I was playing LCPDFR 1.0 since its release and one thing stood out that was mind blowing and really impressed me. During the random events I came across an AI police officer pulling over a car, get out of his car, walk to the passenger window to speak, get back in his car, get back out and tell the driver to get out of his vehicle and arrested him. This allowed me to turn around and pull up to assist. I thought this was so awesome. The mod as a whole is awesome to say the least, but I do have one suggestion or request.  Is it any way the traffic stops can occurs more frequently? I think with all that is going on with calls it would be nice if it gave us more random AI traffic stops that we could pull up and assist.  I think it would be cool even if we never had to get out of the cruiser, but just giving a presence. Also the other way around, is when we make traffic stops it could be a button to ask for assistance and they just pull up behind your car without even getting out would be cool. When it's multiple peds in a vehicle it would be nice to be able to have officers there just as a precaution. I think this would add some more realism to the patrol when you're doing traffic rounds. Just a thought I had. What do you guys think?

  17. I don't know if you guys got me i meant when typing a person's name it takes quite a bit sometimes because the font is too small, at least for me and some other people. SORRY FOR NOT MAKING THAT CLEAR :wallbash:

    Yes for me the text is to small and some times hard to read. I have to make sure I look at the name before I come back to the cruiser to enter into the pc. I  think a way to make it bigger would be very helpful.
